Our experience with the office was great from the beginning. They always answered our phone calls and responded to our emails promptly. They were able to find a unit for us when we made a last minute change to the date, moving it up by one month. They were also able to find a garage for us. We arrived after a long 5 Day drive from Nevada and we were very happy to find everything we needed in our two bedroom, two full bathroom condo. It is indeed fully furnished, and with all of the amenities we needed to cook a meal that night. They even left cleaning supplies, laundry soap and softener, dish soap, etc AND a snack basket with two water bottles, a package of spaghetti pasta and a jar of pasta sauce for us! There appear to be 12 units in each building, and each building is three stories high (4 units on each floor). There is not an elevator in our building, however the main floor units appear to be easily accessible from the parking lot. We need to take the stairs up to our unit on the third floor, and there are stairs that lead down to the first floor. All mailboxes for our building are located on the main floor, as soon as you enter the building. There is an intercom system for visitors to use at the front door. (The front door to the building is locked and you must have a code to enter). The intercom system allows us to talk, listen, and to push a button to let visitors into our building. This is very handy to have for deliveries! The soundproofing seems to be very good because we've been here for four days now and we haven't heard any noise from our neighbors, doors slamming, etc. There's plenty of outdoor parking spaces available. We have a garage for one car (paying an additional $85 per month) and are using the outdoor parking spaces for our other two. This is a very dog friendly area, with a few dog waste stations (fully stocked with poop bags in case you forgot to bring some!) and it's a lovely green, grassy area to go for a walk with your dog. The location is very conveniently located to shopping (Kroger and Kroger fuel, Trader Joe's, Dillards, DSW...), restaurants (many good restaurants within a 5 mile radius), and not too far from the highway. The rental price isn't cheap, but we think it's quite reasonable for being fully furnished, with all of the amenities and supplies that they left us with. We are very happy with our stay here so far, and we highly recommend it for anyone looking for a temporary or long term furnished apartment in this area.

On October 2020, I moved into an apartment owned by Shirewood, LLC located in Ft. Mitchell, KY and…read morethe property is located at 2301 Carlisle Ave. #1. One month after I moved in, I noticed a water bubble on the bathroom ceiling and notified the landlord, Daryl Evans, via text with pictures. He came to inspect it, but nothing to repair it. In Feb. 2021, I noticed the water bubble again and contacted the landlord with pics through a text message, and again, he came to look at it but did nothing to repair it. This continued for months. I also started finding roaches in my kitchen, and I never left food out and I cleaned the kitchen regularly. I reported it to the landlord with pictures, but no solution or remedy to fix it. Starting in March 2021, I started noticing more water damage in the bathroom ceiling continuing to send pics to the landlord who still did nothing to fix the problem. Reminder, my lease stated that all repairs had to be fixed within 14-days as well as the Kentucky Landlord & Tenant Act and state laws. In Aug. 2021, I got the name and number for two contractors from an electrician I met in the Home Depo parking lot and gave their info to the landlord who assured me that he had a contractor. However, that contractor NEVER looked at my bathroom ceiling. I continued taking pics and videos on the bathroom ceiling to monitor the progress of the water. In Nov. 2021, one year after I reported the water damage, I noticed the bathroom ceiling now had two water leaks and I sent pics to the landlord. Because the upstairs neighbors were supposed to move, the landlord's solution to fix the problem was to use plastic and electrical tape on the wet, leaking bathroom ceiling, which is illegal and a health hazard and violation. In Dec. 2021, the upstairs neighbors did not move out and I had to live with a tapped up bathroom ceiling. Meanwhile, I kept finding roaches in my kitchen and had to give up a cabinet because they seemed to make a home there. Eventually in Jan. 2022 I got tired of the roaches and went ahead and sealed up the kitchen cabinets and behind the stove because the landlord never did. I was hoping the roach invasion would stop, but it didn't. I would have moved, but I wasn't in a financial position to leave or I would have. One night in March 2022, I heard water running upstairs and happened to look at the bathroom and noticed new LARGE water bubbles on the ceiling and walls! By this point, I never bothered to notify the landlord because if he never repaired the bathroom within the 14-days I first reported the issue and tapped up the ceiling, and he wasn't going to spend the money to hire a licensed contractor to make repairs. In addition, the water leak spread to the entire length of the bathroom ceiling and started down the wall on the opposite side. Eventually in Apr. 2022 when I had the means to move out, I did! I warning any prospective tenants to NOT RENT any apartment at 2301 Carlisle Ave. because there is mold behind the walls and the landlord does nothing to fix any problems. He refuses to hire licensed contractors to bring the building up to today's code and state laws because he knows it'll cost more than the building is worth. He bought the building from a previous owner knowing their were mold issues (in another unit) and won't make the repairs.

They lie, and I have proof of the lies with pictures. They only care about raking in money. We have had a stove/oven that has never worked correctly. Management just keeps changing things on it but it still never works right. You cannot see on/off or degree ranges on the knobs on the stove, and the oven does not work right. We had our catalytic converter stolen off our car which is parked right in front of our home. Contractors came in and cut the water line and instead of calling the water district, they let it stay off until 10 pm at night. Garbage piles up near the dumpster once it's full and we were told by management, that they have a life too! Instead of fixing the problem I was told I should park at different lot across the street or where there was never an open spot when I got home from work. Buildings became filthy. Odors of weed and paint thinner often. Dogs running loose. Neighbors above me sounded like a stampede of cattle for hours straight each day. The first time I cleaned my kitchen and used a Lysol wipe on the stove top the paint came off in spots. They had painted the yellow stove white which I didn't notice upon moving in. No one following COVID safety. No signs posted in lobby or building entrance. I think I was only one of 3 who wore a mask. And of course I ended up with Covid. Not sure if from home or work but leaning toward the filthy conditions and lack of safety at Crescent Ridge. Requested to allow me out of my lease a few times. Each time they said I could move but would still be responsible for rent each month until it was rented. Well everyone knows that wouldn't have rented. Stuck it out the whole lease, gave my notice to be told my lease was for 13 months. My lease said 12, my welcome letter said 13 (which I totally missed). Stayed 13 months. Paid rent on time every time. Now that I finally made it out of there they want to keep my deposit and charge me another $500 for things that are far from true. Including an extra week in January when I paid for the whole month on Jan 1st. I have over 40 pics. I'll share a few. Worst place I have ever rented.

Screaming at ALL hours, running through the buildings, knocking on your door randomly DAILY, toys and trash everywhere, playing in the STREETS even though there's a playground and plenty of greenspace for them to frolic in. Their parents do not care where they are or what they're doing. Kids are the least of the problems here though. BUGS are my first and foremost biggest problem with this place. Its really a shame that the building manager and owner puts wayyyy more money and effort into the outside landscaping of the place, because these people (with their billion kids) are living in complete filth. While living here, not only did I have to kill roaches daily, but MULTIPLE TIMES daily. These buildings are probably so infested at this point that even if they did completely bug bomb the whole place, it still wouldn't help the situation. German cockroaches infest the basement floor (residence & laundry room) and will occasionally sneak into apartments on higher floors. American cockroaches can be found on any floor, usually at any time of the day, but they are spotted more frequently at night (they like dark and damp places). Your dishes, food, and anything stored in cabinets are not safe from them. We've found them in our kitchen cabinets, drawers, microwave, FREEZER, bathtub, bathroom cabinet, walls, ceilings, they come out of ELECTRICAL OUTLETS and DRAINS. We've sprayed the entire place multiple times, nothing prevents them. We had sugar ants in the spring too, but that was the least of our problems. Mold constantly respawns on our window ledges, in our bathtub, dishwasher, and under the sink. The basement floods. Our heat went out in March, it took them TWO WEEKS to get the part and come back and fix the actual problem, they did however give us two space heaters in consolation. They don't send out notices when they decide to do major construction in your building, our car was broken into at least twice, the kids mess with your vehicles constantly. Oh, and there were handicapped spots when we first moved in, but some ignorant jerk decided to just rip the signs out of the ground and throw them away, they've been gone for at least five months now and there are so many people living in these building... good luck finding a spot. A couple people like to hang out by the garbage cans at night too, late at night. There's so much wrong with this place, I just want to save anyone from ever making the mistake of living here ever. RUN. DO NOT MOVE HERE.

They do have people come out and spray, but the bug-spraying people do not spray the whole apartment, and when you ask the bug person to spray other areas in the apartment, they have an attitude about it. Neighbors are noisy ALL day and night, and the office does nothing more than give them a note to keep it down. You have to put up with neighbors smoking cigarettes on their patios and balconies, and that smoke goes into your apartment if you have your windows and sliding door open, as well as being sucked into the AC units that are in the walls. You can not use the ceiling fan in the kitchen because if you open a certain cabinet that is next to that ceiling fan, it hits the fan. They do not repair everything in the apartment when you tell them about what needs repairing when you first move in. I gave them a list, and they didn't repair everything on the list. We still have a light switch that is not connected to anything at all! Our sliding door track is so dirty that it takes 2 hands to open the door. And forget about using the pool unless you pay $30 for a small plastic fob that, if you lose or damage in any way, shape, or form, you lose that $30. And don't forget that your rent will not be what they say it is, as they add on to it for Water/sewer/stormwater charge/utility reimbursement charge/trash pickup/ electric charge (this is for the common areas). Granted, those charges are split between all the apartments that are occupied, but if you have more people living in your apartment, you get charged more than others. That is right, you get charged for the lights to be on in the hallways, and for them to vacuum the hallways, do repairs, and for the electricity that is used to run the washer and dryers, on top of paying $2.00 to wash your clothes and $1.75 to dry. And those washers and dryers are not kept clean, nor is the laundry room. They cleaned the carpets in the hallways several months ago, and the mats are still hanging over the railings. And I do not see or hear them cleaning every day, or even every week. People leave trash everywhere, including bags of trash. We have an apartment in our building that has a nasty mattress on the patio. Even though we are not allowed to have such things on our patios and balconies. And forget about trying to have a container garden on your patio or balcony, as they do not allow such things. No place to sit at the park and enjoy watching your little ones or grandkids play.
