Have never stayed here because their prices for mid-week stays are too high for me and their competition (NAMA or not) offer better value for the business traveller. Front desk receptionist had a bit of an attitude when I asked her for a ticket when I misplaced mine which left a bad taste in my mouth. Point to note, when you come off the motorway the hotel is on the right but you cannot cross the road here, you need to go to the next roundabout and come back on the opposite side. Meh. On a plus, their restaurant seems to have 2 Rosettes from the AA so mustn't be too bad. Maybe the next time if the receptionist smiles we could try it....

It had transitional Irish breakfast items (rashers, sausages, eggs, etc.) but I don't get meat so I went for the toast, egg, fruit, and a small bowl of Weetabix (my fav!). We would definitely consider staying here again.

I had the calamari for starter which was tasty enough but the portion was minuscule. About four nondescript pieces of deep fried squid that vanished in a few bites. Poor value for €10. My main, however, was a pretty good burger with all the trimmings with a good, if not overly generous, side of chips. My companions had, variously, ribs and salads for starter and hake, and another burger for main. All satisfactory. Not memorable. Not worth going out of your way for but, as a comfortable venue for a catch up and a natter, can't be bested. To be fair, I don't believe it has pretensions to be fine dining so, on that score, it was pretty average. Ok, just ok.
