I don't watch TV in bed usually, but the HH has a huge flat screen over the fireplace which made me think I should really watch it. Dubln is such a fun city but there were times when I actually looked forward to bunking down in my HH room with my book and a glass of wine. The staff is so friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Dublin. Pros - Very comfortable rooms with great amenities (huge flat screen TV, coffee making gear, stereo), spacious and practically designed bathroom, comfortable bed with top notch linens, helpful staff, clean throughout, easy transportation connections via taxi or bus, there's also a restaurant and bar on premises. Cons - The location is a bit distant from of the center, somewhat pricey for what you get, there was a huge banner on the outside of the hotel advertising a new night club being built...not sure how that will affect sleep quality going forward

The price for the room was double what I paid the night before in Oldbridge ($175 Euro). No breakfast, no host, really unwelcoming. Restaurant is expensive for what is offered. It is located in a good part of Dublin--the Ballsbridge area. Some areas of Dublin can be sketchy so it is important to know where exactly you're staying. It is also near the rugby stadium, which, is a huge draw if you are going there for a match. I was able to walk, or uber to all the popular Dublin attractions that I wanted to see including St. Stephen's Green, the Jameson Distillery, Trinity College, Guinness Factory, Temple Bar area etc. There were also plenty of dining options nearby. Rooms were clean, and had all the standard amenities including a hair dryer, tea kettle, tea and coffee selection. The hotel also includes a restaurant, and a popular rugby bar. They also host the Irish House Party, which is an evening of singing, dancing, eating, and drinking. So there is a quite a bit going on at this location! The staff was friendly, and helpful. Check in and check out process went very smoothly. There was also plenty of information on tourist activities in the lobby for you to browse. I was traveling solo, and felt very safe as the areas with the rooms require keycard access so people going to the hotel for dining or entertainment could not get into the area where the guests were. The front door is locked after hours, which was also a plus, and the front desk is manned 24/7! It is a nice place if you're looking for a comfortable, no frills room at an affordable price!
