I have been using Town Fare Tire for many years to service all three of my cars. They are truly wonderful provided they do not make a mistake. Recently I had a cracked wheel on the left-hand side of my car which cost me $1,000 from the dealership to replace. I brought the replaced wheel to Town Fare to put on the car. They mistakenly put it on the right side of the car. I then had to go back and spend another 1K to replace the correct left side wheel with assurances from Town Fare that they would work something out with me. However, when it came time to address the cost, ultimately their position was that since they wrote down the right side that I must be mistaken. I know which tire I had to constantly fill while waiting for the replacement wheel it was always the left side and in fact the left side as it continued to lose air after the wheel was "replaced". I am most disappointed in them for not sticking by their work and after all my loyalty in them they had none with me. read more

Mechancially they did a good job but whoever sat in my car made a filthy mess. The seat, floor, door and steering wheel were covered with dirt and grease. It's not that difficult to take the necessary precautions to keep the customers car clean. I'm guessing they just don't care. read more

I had an 11:00am appointment. Went in and TJ greeted me. I told him why I was there and he showed me the tires I purchased online. Told me it would be about an hour. my car tire punctured on the Merritt pkwy as I was beginning a 300 mile drive to return home. As it happened I was near high ridge road and found town fair tire. Mark and the staff were extremely helpful and efficient. The shop was extremely busy but they were able to fix the tire and have me on my way home in under an hour. I've been going to TFT for a long time to have their techs diagnose and resolve issues such as tire noise, steering and vibration issues, slow leaks, flat tire repairs, and the occasional lost cause due to a nail puncture. Low tire pressure light came on yesterday, swung over after work - no waiting - they not only rotated my tires but fixed my rim (thank you town of Stamford for your rediculously large and multiple pot holes you cant always avoid) Back on the road in less than an hour!!
