As I always get with Town Fair Tire wherever I go, I expect their great work, and timely service and I always get what I expected.

I needed two new tires for my wife's car that had a bubble forming on one of her front tire sidewalls. Shopped online and selected the tires I wanted to buy. Called the Bristol store at 8:30 am to ask if they had the tire I wanted IN STOCK. Spoke to Will. TF "Yes sir. I show 4 in stock." Me "Great! I'm 30 minutes away. How soon can you get me in?" TF "We're not that busy right now. How's 9:30?" Me "Perfect! See you then!" I arrive at 9:25. Greeted by Mark. Super friendly. Checks the tires and mileage. We go back into the store. He pulls out three tires to show me, NONE of which were what I came for. TF "Uh, we don't have those exact tires in the store but if you need them right now I sell you one of these for [roughly $150 more!]" I looked him straight in the eye and said "ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I called ahead, asked for a SPECIFIC tire, and was told they were IN STOCK! Now you want to pull a bait and switch up-sell? NOT HAPPY! HAVE A NiCE DAY!" turned and walked out of the store. He chased me into the parking lot to say "Sir, we can have them here this afternoon if that's okay." Me "NO! IT'S NOT OKAY! I had an APPOINTMENT for 9:30 to have this specific tire installed. I was told they were IN STOCK. I WAS LIED TO! HAVE A NICE DAY!" and continued on my way. If you really want to p¡§§ me off, THAT'S HOW YOU DO IT! I will NEVER go back to the Bristol Town Fair ever again. YMMV. Pun intended. read more

We came in to put nice tires on .y wifes car. Will greeted us and he was fantastic. We asked him to find few options for for her car and he did just that. He explained everything about the options that we had. We chose 4 nice tires and she loves the way the car drives. It was an upgrade but and we'll worth it. Thanks Will. Eric &Dao read more

I made an appointment for November 20 to have four ties installed. I dropped the car off on the 19th. They did have the car promptly ready on the 20th. I was in a rush when I picked it up and just grab the paperwork and the keys and paid for it. The next day, I remembered that I had had a problem with another Town Fair Tire with some damaged rims and I went out to check and three of the floor rooms were damaged. I immediately called the store and spoke with the manager Rick and he asked me to send him some photos so I did and I never heard from him again I felt it was the holidays and people are busy so I waited till the middle of January and then I reached out to the corporate office sent them photos and Talked to to the regional manager. Still never heard anything from him, and I had to call back again and he called me the next day and assured me that they had been a managerial change and the new manager would be reaching out to me the next day. Well, I'm still waiting to hear from him as well and as far as I know, Rick is still the manager so I'm not sure what he's talking about I just cannot believe this is the second time this has happened to me and the only reason I went back is because a very close friend of mine does a lot of work there and recommended them I was just down at the rim repair Shop and they told me this isn't the first time that they've heard a story like this about Town Fair Tire. I gave them plenty of time and I am fed up and I emailed them today and I told them that I would be Rating reviews To let people know about my experience and to be wary of going to Town Fair Tire They had tried to tell me that they had tried to call and they couldn't leave a voicemail but surprisingly they were the only ones that had this issue I am completely disgusted with this company, and I would never recommend them to anyone read more

Not good town fair tire Bristol location. she refused to tire rotate my tire. never purchase a tire here again.

Excellent customer service given to me and my husband today at Town Fair Tire, we had Mary helping us and we couldn't be more happy with the outcome. She listened, heard out our concerns about an issue that happened back in June, got it resolved and corrected it to do what's right. Mary also has extensive knowledge about tires and I was blown away by how much she knew and was able to answer every single one of our questions with a smile and it's clear she's enthusiastic about her career. read more

New tires and rims. Same great service as always HIGHLY RECOMEND Bristol location. Al and Chris helped me get exactly the tires I needed and everything was excellent. 5 stars. read more

Carlos was great at customer service. He went out of his way to make sure I was happy with the purchase and service. Got a price at another place for the same tire and they not only beat it they save me $$. Carlos recommended I make an appointment for first thing in the morning and was in and out in no time. If I didn't make an appointment I would have been there for much longer. Thanks Carlos and The Town Fair Tire Team!! read more

I made an appointment for a tire rotation. It was greeted by Misty who inspected my tires. This is the first time I visited this location and they were so quick and efficient I was amazed. Thanks to the service manager, Brian and the tire tech Jeremie rotated my tires in record time great teamwork! Personal Service too. Many Thanks. A 9/11 First Responder. read more

Ran over the mother of all potholes and wrecked two of my tires at 5:45 PM. Limped to Town Fair Tire and they had a very affordable set of tires shipped from the warehouse and onto my car by 2PM the following day. They even managed to get the dang tire warning light to go out, although that might have just been putting intact tires on the car. read more

1. What is the point of making an appointment and then being here for 2.5 hours? 2. Not only was I frustrated as is because of the initial tire issue but then the salesmen tried telling me that my back tires were eroded and about to explode. It amazes me the disgusting people in this world who will do anything to make money which includes clearly biasing me as a woman and trying to make me buy stuff I clearly don't need. The front desk staff was super awesome outside of the sexist salesmen who looked anywhere besides for my face followed by trying to get me to over purchase. Never again coming here again. read more

I don't think I will go anywhere else. Their tire replacement program when you get a flat Is the best. For me, it has already paid for itself since I've had several flats and would have had to spend close to $1k to repair without. They staff are very friendly and you can kid around with them. Right now I'm waiting for an alignment. I went to get my car's oiled changed at the dealership and they pointed out it was out of alignment. I was surprised since I just got this done at Town Fair Tire a month before. So I bring my car down to TFT to have them check it out and fix. They informed me that the misalignment was within factory guidelines and that my dealership was probably trying to up sell me. They agreed to fix it for free nonetheless. Sidenote: Need to fix how cold it is in here and advising how long the job will take when you take my keys. Also, ask who is next in line instead of assuming. read more

Town fair tire more like need more brains tire!! the guy behind the counter Jared was spewing garbage from the moment i walked in the door. i usually, when with my husband do not tell people to stfu but i almost did today. this guy was talking about his tire pkg and then states " have you been looking around online?" i said sort of not really he said " good they just ship you tires and then what do you do no one mounts them " i was stupified that this guy thinks i am that uneducated. i will stick with tirerack.com for my future purchases and continue my business with firestone mounting and balancing them!! and yes firestone does alignments to. what a joke town fair if your people are that stupid to try to sell me something i don't want and then tell me i can't do what i want else where think again. read more

Super nice. Well spoken. Our options were well-explained without a hard sell. They seem to have a ton of other branches, and offer a fair amount of free after-purchase services. I am glad I wandered in here and found such a gem. read more

Service sucks. Prices are ok as long as you negotiate with them. 4 tire started at $625 and I got him down to $480 in 30 seconds. This makes me wonder if he sized me up as a "stiff" in my dress working clothes. Big mistake, I rebuild engines on the weekends. Oh and they brought me back 2 times and my car wasn't done. This place sucks. Search the web for more stories like mine. read more

I can not say enough about how great this store was when I arrived with flat. I knew I needed tires and had planned to buy them but the screws on the highway got me first. Town Fair met the price of a competitor and did a great job putting on the tires. The tires change and alignment took less than I was told it would take too! read more

Huge shout out to Billy and team at the Bristol location. I was in a huge rush and Billy advised that I come down to wait and he would try his best to get me in. Super friendly and great customer service skills and, I was in and out in a half hour. Thank you thank you. Best, Maureen read more

I took my car in for a slow leak, they looked at it and the guy was relatively nice but he took my tire off of the rim shoved them In my trunk and left me with my spare. On Saturday, July 14, the primary Plymouth Ambulance experienced a tire failure following a 911 call. Town Fair Tire in Bristol came to OUR rescue and, despite this happening at their closing time, stayed late and got us back on the road to protect the citizens of Terryville, Plymouth and Pequabuck. This was not only great business sense but a remarkable sense of community. They didn't have to do this, but they did willingly. That is truly above and beyond service. read more

I got a new set of tires for my Jeep. I wanted a particular kind which they had shipped to their store. They also beat a really good price I had found online. Everyone was friendly, professional, and respectful. The service was incredibly fast. I highly recommend this place. read more

Had a great experience today, went in without an appointment needing 4 tires changed over and a short window of availability, and they went above and beyond to accommodate me. I've had poor experiences here in the past and noted the poor reviews from a couple years ago, but after today they regained a loyal customer. Many thanks to Angel and the team for the professionalism and fabulous service. read more

They sold my niece 6 year old tires and then told her they were bald after 20k miles because she needs alignment every 10k miles. Took advantage of a young couple, stay away from them. We are forging complaint to corporate office and attorney general read more

I came here to get my snow tires put on and taken off. Always friendly staff around. Reasonably quick service when you schedule an appointment. Just wish they had a better parking system - just can't help it when you're located in a plaza. read more

These guys are absolute scumbags. I went to the Bristol location in the Shop Rite Plaza about a year ago for tires and they told me there was a warranty. I came back and they told me my issue was not covered by the warranty and id have to purchase a new tire all over again. After they installed my new tires, my car squeaked for about three months and my car starter no longer worked, so I don't trust these guys know what they are doing. Not only that, but as I walked out of the store, they condescendingly talked at my back as I was leaving telling me "anywhere is going to tell you the same thing". I don't appreciate this type of unprofessionalism and I'd rather go somewhere and pay a bit more to know I'll be treated with respect. They literally live up to the expectation that women get taken advantage of when getting work done to their car. Do NOT let these guys rip you off... go somewhere, ANYWHERE, else. read more

Before you do business with these idiots, find another tire dealer. Michelin authorized full replacement of my tire. The manager said their company doesn't replace tires that they didn't sell! The defective tire came new on my 2014 Cadillac ATS, with 7400 miles it failed, so of course they didn't sell it. Well, Sears auto center will take care of it no problem! Now we need Michelin to take Town Fair Tire off their website!! Terrible operation. Go to the Casino and gamble, you'll have better luck!!! read more

These guys were amazing, professional and attentive! My boyfriend and I met with countless dealerships, as well as a town fair tire in east Hartford to determine what was causing a shake in our 2008 Honda, we just had purchased! The moment we stepped into Town Fair Tire of Bristol, we were handled in a professional manner and felt at ease! Thank you Josh for the awesome deal on our new rims, that accommodated the issue we were trying to face! And the entire staff for being 100% committed to our satisfaction in the rims we purchased! I came in today because of a screw in my tire. Warmly greeted by Angel. He explained the process and fees to me which was way less than I anticipated. The service was super speedy. The waiting area was clean and I loved that I was able to watch them work on my tire on the monitor. Justin gave me back my keys, showed me the screw and he was just as warm and welcoming as Angel was. I'll definitely return in the future should the need arise. Thanks! read more

Horrible place to do business with. There employe makes a mistake and the manager does not care to fix the problem tells me if I don't like it go somewhere else. What a joke and waste of my time trying to do business with these clowns. Stay clear of this place!!!!! read more

Sadly I have to give this place 1 star. Just bought new tires and went to these idiots thinking they would know what to do considering they are a tire service, well they didn't. They ended up breaking the bead on my tire and somehow breaking my valve stem on my brand new rim. I would recommend this place to people that i hate honestly. if you want to pay money for someone to break your tire, town fair tire in Bristol is the place for you read more

Earl and his team are honest and friendly professionals. Willing to go above and beyond for their customers. Wait was a little long but this is to be expected preparing for winter. I get all of my tires from there. Entire set was affortable and they have price matched in the past on brand name tires. I recently had a slow leak and they fixed it without pushing any additional sales/costs on us. read more

Always professional, well kept, clean facilities. Staff is always pleasant and happy to help. Competitive pricing, high availability.

I see other reviews with accolades of honesty and professionalism , not our experience at all. My wife brought in our vehicle to have a tire (purchased at Town Fair Tire) checked that was slowly leaking air. The tire professional informed my wife of his findings, a nail in the tire that was not repairable because of it's location, he proceeded to push my wife not only into a new tire but 4 new ones. She left on my recommendation and went to Tire Depot down the street that we have also have done business with. Lo and behold they repaired the tire with no issue of the location of the puncture. I see it as another dishonest company trying to make a buck of unsuspecting customer. Town Fair Tire will never see another vehicle of ours in there shop. read more

The guys here were fantastic! I came in 15-20 min. before they closed(not knowing) They put their most reliable guys on the job and hooked me up with four brand new tires in less than 15min! I went in for an alignment and was told that I needed to replace my tires. I bought 4 new tires and within a week my mechanic told me that 2 of the 'new' tires were faulty and dangerous. I returned to TFT and they replaced the 2 faulty tires. The car was riding a little wobbly so I returned to a neighboring TFT who told me to return to the Bristol office because the tires that they sold me were bad. Upon returning to the Bristol TFT I was told that I would be charged for 4 new tires and an alignment. After pleading my case (while crying) I was finally given 4 'new' tires and was charged only for another alignment. Wait for it.......my mechanic has now told me once AGAIN that all of the tires are faulty and I need to replace all 4. Again. read more

Went back for a wheel balancing issue on the old tires that they didn't even sell me and Bob took care of me right away, highly recommended.

After having one of the worst customer service experiences at another business, I came to town fair tire. I cannot express how fantastic and helpful the guys that work there are. I had an experience where I had a locking lug with no key to get them off. Bob who works behind the desk did everything he can to try and help me out which included calling multiple dealerships trying to find a way to help me out. After finding one he preceded to tell them I was coming and scheduled me an appointment on the spot. After traveling to that dealership and back it was near closing for town fair tire, yet Bob, Earl, and Al made sure my car got done. The alignment specialist was leaving due to his shift being over, but Bob Earl and Al found someone else who would do it for me. Never once did I feel as though I was being a burden for them. All in all this place is highly recommended and the staff there are exceptional. Thank you town fair tire. read more
