(10am) Now, as I go through my clothes, I've found items that don't belong to me mixed in with my laundry, and the blue Pottery Barn pillowcases I had dry cleaned have turned grey. While they offered a credit for the laundry service (not dry-cleaning), which I appreciate, it's not enough to make me return or recommend them.

She was the one and not the woman without the glasses who is very nice and thorough. There is also a man working with folding and now my opinion has changed. One bad apple can spoil the laundromat but remove the bad apple and then all is good again. I have resumed coming here. Thankful she is gone. Written 1/2026 Have been going here for about two months now using the drop-off service and have a couple of issues. I pay extra for detergent and fabric softener. Each assortment of clothing items are separated and placed in a tight plastic bag with a knot. My clothes are never soft and they never have a Gain scent which is strong. How can I open numerous bags every week after paying an average of $27 - $33 dollars including my usual $4+ tip and get this? I never asked for the blue stuff which I have no clue as to what that is but my brand-new underwear had a large blue blotch spot on the rear side and it's obvious she is not using anything I am paying for. The last draw was last weekend when I picked up my clothing, yet again, no scent once the bags were opened that evening and then the next two days. Once you open that bag, the Gain detergent and Gain Fabric Softener I paid for would smack you in the face. It's a strong fragrance! I am very upset because I went to get my beautiful heavy robe from Pottery Barn which is always ALWAYS soft after washing and drying it with just a dryer sheet and when I pulled it out, it didn't have any Gain scent NOR did it feel soft. It was so crispy and crinkly when I put it on and had static electricity. The woman there during the daytime is a thief and a liar. This has happened for two months and I'm done. Taking my business elsewhere and shame on them. By the way, no plastic bags although tied tight had scent in them either. STAY FAR AWAY unless you want to be treated like a fool. Now I'm off to find somewhere else to bring my usual 20-22 pounds of clothes I paid her to wash....oh, wait, it just occurred to me they might not even be washed!

And another thing, she will not suggest any alteration unless it's absolutely necessary. In fact, when my mom asked if it was worth altering her suits, Lucksmee told her no. It would not be worth it. This is what she was destined to do…read more I was hesitant when I read the ONE negative review that she had, but based on the others, I figured the review had to be wrong. And it was. Lucksmee has been more than available, and took on a project that I gave WAY too little time to complete. She was available anytime I needed to come in for a fitting (one original, one final), and even allowed me to come earlier than my appointments. I ordered my dress, and when I received it, I was really, REALLY upset. I HATED it. But, there was no time to return it. My dress (I'll post pictures when I wear it) had to be ordered in a size 10 to accomodate my chest. I'm a size 2-4. I could not imagine making it "work". Side note...if you're getting a boob job...the hidden fees later in life will haunt you. Anyway... I met Lucksmee at her townhouse and she went to WORK. The dress itself has rouching throughout the body, and then at the thigh area it turns into 2 layers of chiffon with a third satin underlay. If that wasn't enough, there is beading all across the front. First...the dress was obviously way too big around the waist and had to be taken in drastically. Then, she had to sepearte the three layers at the bottom to hem the actual length of the rouching section to an appropriate length. With that, she had to remove some beading and then reattach the three layers. If that wasn't enough of a daunting task, she also had to hem all three layers at the bottom to accomodate my height, and offered to put in a bustle for the train. The PRICE? WAY under what I have paid for bridesmaid dress alterations in the past, with HALF the work she has put into it. I just went in for my final fitting...and I am astonished. I can't wait to wear it. If this wasn't enough, she is SO nice and personable. On my first visit, we chatted about random information. 3 weeks later, she remembered every detail. I cannot say enough wonderful things about her, and will be going to her for ANY alterations in the future. As far as that negative review is concerned....ignore it.

My second fitting, I met the woman who appears to be the daughter of the old man. She was rude and rushed and couldn't give me a quote for dress alterations, only that it would cost "a couple hundred" because it was a lot of work (hemming, taking in the shoulders and bust). The alterations had already been started so it was too late. No one ever called me to tell me the dress was ready. I had to call them. I picked up my dress today and it was over $250! The craftsmanship is mediocre with uneven stitching with some loose threads. The shoulders weren't shortened, just folded over and sewed. I will not be going back.
