They are a family business with a showroom just off from Rt 35. I couldn't get to it so I was even given a free ride to go and see for myself what the products look like from Doug the salesman. On the day of installation, I met his wife Michele who is the Showroom Manager. Then there's Mindy who is on top of contacting me and making sure there is communication and then Rob and his team of two other installers. The whole bunch had a great sense of humor, and really enjoyed their jobs! They came on time and offered professional service but still maintaining a great easy-going vibe. The installers were extremely efficient and had window replacement to a science! They cleaned up after themselves and didn't make a mess! Rob has 32 years of windows installation experience and it shows. The guys were down to earth and humble too! They packed all the equipment into the truck neatly! It is one of the neatest and cleanest work trucks I have ever seen! I spied a cooler in their truck! If you get Doug as your salesman, ask him to show you one of his best assets, a cap that his wife bought him. It is a very familiar red and I thought could it be? Then Doug turns around and his cap reads "Make Windows Great Again!" That was too precious! I told him he could offer those for sale too! After installation, I had some issues with the mechanics of the windows and Michele was on it ASAP and dispatched Doug out to see what the issues were. Great customer service! The windows I got are Polaris and made in Ohio! They also install exterior doors and storm doors from ProVia. If your budget will allow you to, get the triple paned glass! To begin with, the sales representative was punctual, knowledgeable, and thorough. He clearly explained all the window options and helped us choose the style we wanted. Unfortunately, that is where the professionalism ended. One of the most alarming issues occurred during installation: a window was either dropped or thrown from the second floor onto my front lawn, where it shattered. The crew made no attempt to clean it up. I only discovered the shards the next day while outside barefoot with my toddler. I spent hours picking up tiny pieces of glass myself. When I raised this with the project manager, he didn't apologize or show any concern--he simply offered $100 off for my "time." Beyond that, the overall project management and execution were riddled with issues. I had to review the order sheet at least ten times because the company repeatedly made mistakes--wrong quantities, wrong styles, wrong hardware. Even after all of that, the final order was still incorrect. I requested that the new windows match the existing styles (e.g., 6 over 1, 8 over 1), yet this was ignored, and we only realized the error during installation when it was too late to correct. They also installed two top sashes in one window and acted as if this was normal. Their explanation was that "owners ask for ridiculous things sometimes," so they didn't question it. This was the only window of the 18 installed incorrectly, yet I was the one who had to push to have it acknowledged. The hardware situation was equally unprofessional. They installed mismatched pieces--gold locks with nickel lifts--because the hardware we selected was "out of stock," but they never told us. When we asked for replacements, they simply handed me a catalog and told me to choose new ones, offering no guidance, even though only one alternative actually worked with the holes they had already drilled. Another major issue involved the window screens. I requested screens for all windows in the original estimate, and this was clearly documented. Despite that, no screens were installed. Their excuse was that "homeowners don't often want to open their windows." After the mistake was pointed out, they installed makeshift screens that don't fit properly and are extremely difficult to remove and replace--clearly not the correct screens for the windows we purchased. The job, which was supposed to take a few days, dragged on for weeks due to unfinished work, installation errors, and repeated reorders caused by their own mistakes. Some of the work is still unfinished. I would not recommend Ardmore Windows and Doors to anyone. Unless you want to act as your own project manager, clean up after the crew, and still end up with results that don't match what you paid tens of thousands of dollars for, look elsewhere.

We had a budget, and he helped us keep to it, but he really went above and beyond that. Other vendors told us there was no way to keep the 130 year window moldings, but Turab not only helped us keep them, but had so many neat tricks to improve our restoration project. Other vendors just gave us offers against our project scope, but Turab explained to us the dynamics of different windows in different parts of the house and what types worked best and saved us money. He made custom moldings for our cellar windows. He also helped us out to stop a fly tipping incident one day when we were out and not able to deal with it ourselves. And when it was pouring with rain and our basement flooded, he went outside and took a really long and hard look and told us what the problem was. We got it fixed the same weekend and never had issues since.

I requested an in home consultation and John Gary visited my home for an estimate. John did a good job of explaining my options, prices, process etc. I live in a townhouse community which has an HOA to work with, the team at Window world handled the paperwork and documents needed for approval. The order was placed and the windows and patio door were delivered earlier than expected. An install appointment was scheduled. The install went smooth, I will say the installers worked until 8:30 in the evening. I believe they may have under estimated the amount of time needed for the install. I would definitely recommend they arrive earlier moving forward. I was disappointed as screens came in damaged but were quickly fixed a few days later. There was a bit of a mess left outside as it was dark out when completed and I know the installers couldn't see the debris that was left outside. I was also disappointed to see that the windows were left with grime, caulk etc which needed to be cleaned afterwards. I was also not satisfied with the walk thru of the features of the windows, I did not know that the sliding window could actually be easily removed to clean them. All in all it was a good experience, the price was far less than Anderson and Pella. The warranty offered is very good. I am confident I made a good decision.

The cable satellite dish was removed from the roof & it was placed on the side of the house while they were installing aluminum siding on the house & we were without cable due to the signal being lost. We notified Window Galaxy customer service right away & asked them to come back to put the satellite dish back on the roof. They said they couldn't come back at that time & would put the satellite dish back up the next day and we said "ok". We said to ourselves "things happen and 1 night without cable won't be too bad". The Window Galaxy USA workers arrived the next morning & my husband spoke to them personally & showed them where they left the satellite dish etc. The workers apologized & said that they will place the cable satellite dish back on the roof within an hour or so. My husband went to work & when I came home from work the satellite dish was still on the ground & the Window Galaxy USA workers were gone & the aluminum siding job was complete. Window Galaxy USA is not coming back to put the satellite dish back on the roof. I called my cable company & we to pay an installation fee for a new satellite dish to be put back on the roof and the earliest appointment is 7 days from now!!! Thank you Window Galaxy USA.
