I have dealt with other tree companies in the past and they always charged one price for cutting the tree down, and grinding the stump and/or carting the wood away cost extra. Allen's gave me one no-nonsense price to do the complete job and I am more than happy with their work. Everybody's trees and situations are different so I recommend you always get multiple price quotes, but make sure Allen's is one of them.

We have a number of old trees in our neighborhood which lose branches during every storm. I needed 4 trees removed (3 dead/dying and 1 too close to the house) and 3 trimmed away from over the house and driveway. After I accepted their quote, they gave me a date and time for when they would arrive, which was a Saturday (a week away) at 9:00am. At 8:55am, 3 trucks rolled up with a crew ready to work. The crew was focused on their work. I spoke briefly with the lead worker when they arrived, and a second time when he wanted to double-check with how I wanted the limbs/branches cat-back from over the house and driveway. They were careful to lay down planks and plywood to protect the grass from the truck tires. While up in the bucket, the lead man also trimmed some dead and loose branches from the tree and away from wires without me having to ask. Another part of the crew tended to the areas where trees were just removed... grinding down the stumps and removing debris. Before they left, they raked and levelled the areas where the stumps were, and used a blower to clean away small pieces and chips. When they left, all tree trunks, limbs, branches and debris were removed... NOTHING was left... even at the curb! My property was left neat and clean. I highly recommend Accurate Tree Service, and, if needed, I will use them again. They're in my "contacts".
