He was flexible with dates and fitted in with my schedule. They arrived at 8.30am on the appointed day and by 3.30pm two large trees had been cut down and the stumps ground up. They did an excellent clean up job leaving very little trace of all the earlier activity (at one point the back yard was covered in branches and leaves). I recommend these folks without reservation.

After providing me a free estimate and walking me through the process of getting a permit, I decided to pull the trigger and hire him. His crew was on time, courteous, and fixed any and all messes they made in the tree removal, stump, grinding, and grooming. In addition, he was incredibly tolerant of some other workers who were at my house. Overall, the price was right, the service was impeccable, and John was an incredibly friendly guy who took the time to tell me how awesome being a dad is (my wife was expecting at the time of the job), and to chat about how cool it is to have a beard. You won't regret hiring these guys. They'll be my go-to for tree work and landscaping in the future.

Over the last 30 years we have used a number of local tree services with few issues but nothing…read moreexceptional. We renovated a landscape area in the back yard and needed to move a "loved" large holly tree (planted for our grand daughter). Green Rite was exceptional. They cautioned not to transplant until September, dug / captured the roots in a large ball and covered with burlap. The area did not allow equipment and the balled tree was heavy. As a solution they dug a trench from the original spot to the new spot (10 feet) and rolled the tree. This was not an easy process but the Green Rite team was always pleasant and focused on providing an exceptional customer experience. I highly recommend Green Rite for your treen and lawn services.

They…read moregot the job done, but they weren't too careful, dropping 4ft wide x 10ft long logs on our property shook our whole house and damaged our Dogwood that was very close to our house splitting the main limb so the Dogwood will likely die. I complained about this to Brian, but he offered nothing to cover the damage. Worse after we had RKD cut down a couple of dead trees at my in-laws, the township called Brian to inspect a 1/2 dead oak in the right-of-way space. Comcast & Verizon used this tree as a utility pole and their wires were embedded over 3 inches into the trunk. Brian refuses to put this damage from the wires in the report and instead keeps calling us to pay to have the tree down so be very careful working with RKD on any responsibility or property issues as they'll side with the township since they get lots of work from them!
