I have meant to write this review for three months but life has been busy. Yet Frank was so good that periodically I would say to myself "I really want to write a good review for that guy who helped us out so much." Here I go finally. In March 2016, our landscaper was performing our spring cleanup and showed us a cluster of 4 trees with a common root structure that had pulled up on one side from the soggy grass. There was no choice: those babies were gonna come down and they were leaning toward our roof. This was a Saturday. Then, an hour or two later, the weatherman said that a Nor Easter was coming to town tomorrow, Sunday. Oh boy. I went on line, reached out to 4 companies and left all 4 messages. This was a Saturday afternoon. The bottom line is that Frank called first, told me he'd come right after he finished his job, came on schedule, gave a fair price, and agreed to get the trees down the next day, Sunday, before the storm was expected to hit. He said that his trucks would arrive between 8:30 am and 8:45 am. They showed up at 8:37 am in a convoy as I was walking my dog. Very reassuring. Everything proceeded smoothly, the job was big and time-consuming, the men were true professionals, they did exactly what Frank had said they would do, and I read a book while they worked their tails off. If you need help like I did, there is no reason to call anyone other than Frank. The reviews on Yelp all rang true for me. He is knowledgeable, fair, decent, and hardworking. read more

I have enlisted Accurate Tree Service twice in the past four years. The first time was in 2012, a few days after Hurricane Sandy. I needed one tree and its stump removed. It was a time when things were chaotic for mostly everyone in New Jersey. Trees were down and there was extensive power outage throughout New Jersey. Anyone who tried to have their power restored, trees and/or stumps removed or grinded experienced long delays in acquiring assistance. I called a number of tree services and asked them if they could stop by my home and give me a quote for removing a tree and a stump, and not one company except for Accurate Tree Service (Frank), returned my call. Frank came over immediately and he gave me a reasonable quote to do the job, and I accepted. The second time, I procured their service was a few days ago, I asked Frank if he could remove one huge tree that had split into a triple tree, and to grind down two stumps. Again his quote was reachable and I agreed to have him do the job. Frank and his crew were reliable. They showed up on the day and time as Frank promised. They were professional, fast, and courteous. Subsequently to completing the work, they did an outstanding job in cleaning up my yard and the yards of the neighbors who reside on both sides of me who had received sawdust, tree limbs and tree branches in their yards. This huge tree was elm and dead. We had to get it cut down fast before the rest of it could damage 2 other houses including destroying the garage.. We already had 1 company tell us they cant because of the small space we had to work with. A.T.S made it happen....and I have to say that A.T.S did not charge enough. I feel they cut themselves short. The charge was ridiculous cheap and could not be beat anywhere. As for the work they did.... I watched for a while before going to work....They go above and beyond . They did to just cut down the tree and leave. They trimmed up the rest of our trees ,untangled a phone line mess and after they were done they cleaned up there mess and a lot more!! I did not get to meet the Bossman but my Auntie said the entire crew where very professional and polite. We are more than happy with the results. look no further for a tree service, call no other company, this is the best and only one you need!! frank, cheryl and their crew are the absolute best! this company operates the way business used to operate "back in the good old days". they arrived quickly and provided an extremely fair price. we had 5 trees removed and stumps grinded and several other trees hanging over the property line trimmed back. we honestly can not say enough wonderful things about these folks. they are punctual, did the work quickly and efficiently and the clean up was outstanding bar none! they left our yard in better shape than it was before they got there! Amazing Professionals!! I have had several trees taken down over the years and wish I found this company first. They are just awesome! They returned my call for the quote immediately then came that night. After getting 5 quotes, they were the cheapest, which is not always a good thing, but this time it certainly was given their level of service. Cheryl called me to set up the service, then again to confirm the night before. The crew showed up and in less than 3 hours had taken down 2 huge trees, both next to structures. They even ground up roots that another tree company left in the ground a year ago and trimmed another small tree by my house. They left my property immaculate, I can hardly even tell where the trees I had removed were. Needed a tree and stump removed, and I had contacted several tree services for estimates...the outcome of my research yielded my choice of Accurate Tree Service. I recently purchased a new home that had huge oak trees along with various other large trees, plants, tree trunks. You name it, this yard had it and all had been unattended for years. Accurate Tree Service came and cleared the lot, cut back a couple of trees staying and then cleared out the plants, vines, brush, etc. Frank and Cheryl run a tight ship with extremely professional employees that knocked the entire property out in a day. When you see the owners getting down and dirty with the everyone else, it's usually a sign you're with the right people. Mike and his crew were so awesome! They were professional, on-time, and communicated with me as if I were a customer for years! For the estimate, Mike spoke with me personally and even though he had been in business for over 30 years he took pride in wanting to due our particular job. Mike, the owner, was at the job site while is "A-Team" crew handled the job. When completed, his crew cleared the work area so well that you would never had known a tree or his crew was had been there. Mike walked the job prior to starting and reviewed after it was over. "Forget the rest and call the best" Accurate Tree Service removed a large pine tree that was growing up against my home and hanging over the roof. They topped off and beautifully trimmed several other trees that were entangled around the power lines. They worked efficiently, quickly and left the property meticulous. It was a pleasure to call and get the principal of the company, Frank, on the phone on my first try, an occurrence that never happens when contacting any contractor. I had a very large oak tree in my front yard that died from lightning and needed to be removed. Accurate gave me a very reasonable price and did the job while I was not home. The next day when Frank arrived for payment, I pointed out some unexpected damage to my front lawn, Frank refused to take my money, came back a couple days later with his crew, and fully repaired the damage, and even covered the bare spot where the tree was with sod which he was not required to do. That type of "above and beyond" level of service and high integrity is unfortunately rare these days, but it surely puts Accurate in a class by themselves. I highly recommend them. read more

I interviewed a number of local tree companies and compared their plan, price and "word of mouth" reputation. By far, Accurate had the best plan, they explained the plan to my comfort and then offered the best price. I chose Accurate on the plan first and then their price. Cheap price won't fix a bad plan. Accurate Tree Service removed a huge tree that was dying from my back yard. Their crew is totally dedicated to the job, extremely hardworking, and just such nice people to work with from the owner down to the workers. I recommend them so highly! They are very careful not to damage anything around them and clean up the area so thoroughly that you wouldn't even know they had been there (except for the missing 150 year old tree that's no longer there. From beginning to end Accurate Tree Service was awesome. They were extremely responsive and when they came to survey the job they were knowledgeable and suggestive on what trees i should take down on my property. They are also not in the business of taking down healthy trees and trees in locations that don't affect your home (gutters, plants, etc...). Unless of course you'd want them to. Honestly this company was fantastic. They were sensitive - I had a tree fall on my neighbors shed. They were honest - they explained I wasn't responsible. They were respectful - they understood I wanted to be a good neighbor and pay for the service. They were communicative - they explained the reality to my neighbor and they keep them and me posted on the timing of the work. Fantastic response to my request for an assessment of a tree that has lost a lot of limbs in the last nor'easter. Frank was there the next day and the work was done 2 days after that. Fair pricing. Other than the little mounds of of sawdust from the stump grinding - they did several for us in addition to the tree they took down, everything was left clean.
