The hotel, in general, is in a great location with easy access to food and the train, and you can find something late at night to eat for some reading. During my last few stays, I arrived late at night. I did stay in a room that has been upgraded, and I like the changes. Especially in the bathroom, but the smoke smelled on and off throughout the halls. Entry into the lobby area was sometimes too much, and just easy access to walk into the hotel for guests and nonguests. The late-night staff is always welcoming and helpful during my visits.

It is close to LaGuardia and offers a shuttle 24/7. Speaking of shampoo and conditioner, they stock one of my favourite brands for the toiletry products; Malin and Goetz. The shampoo is a peppermint product and the conditioner is cilantro. The body's is rum, which smells a bit to manly for me but I still use it. And the lotion is the b5 body moisturiser. The hotel is located in a superb area for foodies and shoppers. Flushing Chinatown, Queens, is the largest Chinatown in NY and the USA. There are so many fabulous, shops and businesses in this locale. Definitely book here for a great hotel experience.

Our suite included a full kitchen with a refrigerator, microwave, and stove, though there were no dishes or utensils provided. It also featured a dining table with chairs, a desk, sofa bed, and best of all--a private in-room Jacuzzi. It was a perfect way to relax after long days out in the cold. The hotel also offers convenient amenities like a coin laundry, a gym, and a vending machine. Daily housekeeping was consistent and appreciated. It's just a short walk to the New World Mall, Tangram Mall and the 7 train, which made getting around very easy. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful with anything we needed. The attendants are always very friendly, courteous and professional. A great group of very talented and committed individuals. They should all be very proud of themselves. The seating is always comfortable and there is always enough legroom. (I'm 5'11"). The video screens are a good size and there is always enough entertainment choices. I'll give the snacks an ok. Nothing spectacular but OK. I definitely miss the blue chips. Their free hi speed WiFi is a definite plus. Easy to connect and use. I don't mind flying, really I don't. When I do, I find Jetblue does a great job. I'm not always thrilled about be put into a tube and shot across the country sitting for 3-6 hours but when I do, Jet Blue is the way to go.

Although it's a perk only associated with the member who travels, I was shocked JetBlue moved everyone around, including an elderly lady who had purchased the ticket on her own, and was crying because she had a cane and wanted to be near the front. They did not reimburse me, and instead put me way in the back in an aisle. The flight I paid for was even more expensive than my original flight. I will try to avoid JetBlue and flying with a Mosaic member, as you are held hostage to the ticket, with no way of making changes. It was terrible customer service as they did nothing to accommodate the last-minute change.

Thankfully it was a quick stay, but not sure I would have been able to give my hair a good wash in this. The AC blew right on my bed. If I had it off, the room was stuffy.
