The worst company, hands down, I have ever dealt with. Approximately three weeks ago I left a rude message (which I don't feel bad about at this point) because my evap cooler broke down, again. There was some miscommunication and I didn't know they called back, so I called them back a week after the initial call. I spoke to someone, who was moderately rude to me, and said they could get someone out to fix my evap cooler. I was having the same problem as last time, so I thought it was the motor, which I told them that. I was transferred to make an appointment, and was told it would be almost TWO WEEKS before someone could come out. I was again upset, made the appointment, and asked to speak to the owner. Of course, the owner never called me. So today is the day. Someone came out to check out my evap cooler. He said it wasn't the motor, but the bearings. They needed to be replaced. He said he was talking with a owner/manager and someone would contact me "in a few minutes" to discuss the situation. He also said it would take time to do the repair, but he would have time today. Lastly, as a side note, he stated the person who sold me the evap cooler no longer works there and other customers were unhappy with units sold by that salesman. So I waited... and waited... and waited. After about three hours I called the main office and the person I spoke to was aware of the situation, stated she would contact the owner and I would get a call back. After an hour and a half I called back again. This time I was told that the tech was now busy and basically there was nothing that could be done. They would reach out to the owner again. Again they said the owner was in and out of the office and they can't reach him. I said I've wanted to talk to the owner for three weeks and it's obvious he is avoiding talking to me. They said that wasn't true. I asked for his number, and they refused to give it. I said I want him and no one else to call me about this, and hung up. At this point I don't expect to hear from them again. I get that they are busy and have other customers. But they have bumped me before for others. They have ignored my calls before. They obviously don't want me as a customer. Also, my evap cooler at least made a noise when I turned it on to indicate it was working, but now it makes no noise at all. So now, it's in worse condition than before they showed up today. I'm sure they will say I was rude and mean. You're right, I was. I never cussed, never screamed, but I sure as heck raised my voice. People do that when they live in a house that is constantly hot in 100+ degree heat with a broken cooler that is only two years old that has had three separate problems with it. I've also had to take time off from work for these repairs, including a full day today. Now I have to take more time off to have someone else make this repair. If they ever rectify the situation, I'll change the review. read more

Towery Air Conditioning provides excellent customer service at an affordable cost. Due to the extreme high temperatures in Bakersfield, my Bubbe suffered a heat stroke. We were concerned for her health and overall well being. After hiring a professional cleaning service to help rid her studio apartment of clutter (My Bubbe suffers from a Stage-3 Hoarding Disorder), we were able to investigate the cause of her broken Air Conditioning Unit. Towery AC swooped in and saved the day. With an affordable service cost, and quick turn around time, my Bubbe was back to her old self again. She can now rest easy and enjoy her stories. The family no longer has to worry about our Bubbe, and to me that reassurance is worth more than gold. We are singing Towery praises!! Our A/C unit didn't run all summer and in Keene we can almost live without it but the nights are pretty rough. We assumed we need a new unit since ours was almost 30 years old so I called Towery to see if maybe it could be repaired. They had a technician out the next day, and the best thing was we didn't need a new unit! With only a few small repairs, our AC was blowing cold in less than an hour. I'm so happy my friend recommended Towery to install my new AC unit. I'm getting rid of the old unit on the side of my house, so I had Towery cut in a new package unit on the roof. They said it would take about 3 days and they got it done in 2. They had great prices and multiple financing options. They showed up when they said they would, and the new AC looks awesome. Came home to a broken A.C. yesterday afternoon after business hours. I'd heard that with the heatwave every repair business was backed up, so I was imagining days of heat and bad sleep. When Jamie answered the phone this morning, she assured me that someone would save me this afternoon. Dean came even earlier than promised! When in the repair world does that ever happen? He was so friendly and professional. With no-one else home, it can often be awkward to have a repairman come. Not this time! Two hours late, never received a call to give us a heads up that they would be late, called their office 11 times during business hours to see where the guy was and no one answered. The guy did figure out what the issue was with our unit when he finally got there, fixed the part that needed fixing. Then stated we were low on coolant and told my husband there must be a leak and he bets its in the Attic and you might need to replace the coil ($1000 part) but he have a solution for $115 that can seal the leak & you won't need to replace the coil right now...never offered to get up in the attack to check if there was really a leak there nor did he find one anywhere else. He was there exactly an hour but charged us for two. My husband called their office the next day to let them know about the two hours charge and the lady said she would check the GPS system and get back to us, haven't received a call back yet..I'm glad this guy fixed our air conditioner but we probably won't be calling them out for anymore services. read more

I called three companies to give me estimates on new air conditioning units for my home. I explained to each sales rep what our issues had been and that we needed to fix our hot spots within our house. David Pryor with Towey Air Conditioning was the only one who got up into our attic and reviewed our current systems (both inside and outside) and issues. David figured out what we needed and why we had a air flow problem. He presented choices, recommendations and competitive prices. Wow! Maybe I just got them on a "bad day". I called Towery Heating and AC to check my forced air heating unit. He came, did the diagnostics and gave me the options. Quoted me a price of $425. The next day, I called and set up the appt. It was for 12:30 a day later. He showed up early (3 hrs) threw in the part in 15 minutes, according to my adult son and left. I was charged 1.5 hrs of labor = $163.50. He was overbooked that day, apparently, so he squeezed in my job. When I got home from work to check it out, I found 2 LIVE WIRES TAPED TOGETHER WITH ELECTRICIAN'S TAPE fully exposed to my sprinklers....FIRE HAZARD!!!! I called the company the next day, spoke to the owner, Towery. NO SATISFACTION WHATSOEVER. My dad was a tradesman, card-carrying Journeyman Boilermaker, welder, pipefitter. I know a good job vs. one done by MIckey Mouse. I took photos. The total job came to $99 more than the original quote I got. Homeowners, beware. This company has no integrity regarding their work. I do not recommend their work. Totally unsafe. read more
