Jess was kind, responsive and efficient. Also his prices are very fair!!! I would recommend him any time!

Jesse just left and I can't say enough great things about him, I called him around 7 and he was here right after he finished another job. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and not out to cash in on us in times like this, service call was inexpensive compared to what others were charging for an after hours call. He fixed our AC and let us know what will need to be repaired in the future. 10/10 highly recommend read more

This was my first time using Toro air conditioning and heating. I have to say I'm very happy with their service. Jesse was able to come out within 24 hours and solve my issue very quickly. He was very honest and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Toro. read more

Honest, professional and reliable!!!! I was having issues with a bad leak in our AC and the installer who did our ac was being difficult and unwilling to come out. I called Toro and they came out right away. They gave us an idea of what was wrong and instead of gouging us to the repair it they gave us sound advice to have the original company fix it. We ended up contacting our original installer and it ended up being resolved the following day. Wish we would have contacted Toro to begin with to do the job. I appreciate their honesty and will be contacting them for any future repair needs! read more

Toro Air Conditioning & Heating - Toro air conditioning repair pro in Bakersfield - Heating & Air Conditioning/HVAC Near Me

Well A/C died Sunday. Went right to Yelp. Saw Hawley's A/C. He was'nt able to come till Tuesday. Not good for its Bakersfields Hot weather. Then saw Toro's A/C reviews. Everyone gave 5 stars. I read each review carefully. All sounded genuine. Really liked what was said about Jesse's skill set. His clear diagnostic explaination. Honesty. Work Ethic. Jesse's a great guy. I gave the man like 6 filtered glasses of iced zerowater. The condensor fan was locked. He spun it and A/C came on. Bearings not too good. He recommended replacement. Heck. A dishonest service man would have rip our family off for a $grand$, fan motor, plus, plus. Yelp reviews, all 5 stars, was spot on. Jesse then checked the forced heating unit and other elements of the A/C. Taught me lot about what to watch out for, maintiance etc. Stuff like feeling what pipes to know if I need $$$ expensive freon, etc. So not to be ever rip off. He had to spend hour time to pickup a compatable motor fan. He wanted a good Brand, long guarantee. Our A/C dates back to 1980's. 3.5 hours from start our A/C works like a charm. I talked to Jesse about his background. WOW. He worked at all levels of repair. Was repair manager of a huge, huge crew. Worked on some of the biggest corporate places and projects. Graduated from the top Tech School. Like 25 years experience. I would recommend Jesse for reliability, honesty, and high level skillset. Oh yes I googled for reviews of Jesse and Toro's A/C. 5 star reviews too. Forget about finding Jesse on White or Yellow pages. My early concern. Words of Mough keeps Toro's A/C very busy. He doe's have a very nice website with special features. As YELP'R s all we want is fair price. Tell Jesse you will check around prices. Jesse respects YELP'Rs satisfaction. read more

Toro Air Conditioning & Heating - Heating & Air Conditioning/HVAC Near Me

After one service call that went well at my residence, I hired Toro Air to service a business account. He bid the job well so we hired them. He made a lot of promises that he never came through on and never fixed things he found wrong. Now he is ignoring all of my phone calls. I am very dissatisfied with the professionalism and follow-through. They are either understaffed or just not well-organized or devoted to their contracted clients. I am now looking for another HVAC vendor for our needs. read more

Let me preface this by saying that my last two experiences with HVAC have been less than satisfactory. This year, I asked my wife to call around for a technician to replace an AC contactor, redo some wiring, and service our AC unit. She looked on YELP and found Toro. We got ahold of them on a Wednesday, and by Thursday morning everything was done. (This is in April so certainly not prime AC season yet, but also not the dead of winter) The technician was polite, helpful, to-the-point, and extremely affordable. He kept my wife apprised of what he was doing, gave her some tips and tricks (not lectures on how bad we are at taking care of AC as other companies have done), and then was on his way. I estimated the bill and have been researching HVAC for a year to make sure I don't get ripped off. For everything, it ended up being half what I estimated. If Toro ever reads this, let me assure them that their exceptional service did not go unnoticed and I will be telling everyone I know about them on top of calling them for my home or any other place I have HVAC needs. Toro, thank you again for doing such an outstanding job. read more

This review is a long time coming. We have found and used Toro Air since February 2015. Having a Property Managment division we have relied upon Jesse and Jose of Toro Air. These guys are remarkable! They show up presentable and dressed in their company uniforms, drive a company vehicle with clear markings of their logo, name, telephone number and license information. They have serviced air conditioning units, new and old, heating units in walls, floor or attic. Plus they invoice properly and give a written guarantee for all their work. We don't have to call them back to fix the same problem twice because they fix it right the first time. We used Yelp to find them and it worked! 2 other companies all found in Yelp came to bid on first time project and boy were the prices staggering. We went with Toro Air, used their services, went by the recommendations and have been happy ever since. Keep up the outstanding work! Joseph Lopez Sus Amigos Real Estate read more

My air conditioner went out yesterday. I called Toro Air and they were able to come out the next day. Thank goodness, since it's 104°. Daniel was on time, nice, and professional. He explained what the issue was and had it fixed in about 30 minutes. I don't know a lot about pricing but I felt the cost was reasonable. I'd recommend this company to anyone! read more

We were selling our house and the inspection revealed that the primary AC pan was dripping into the secondary pan. I called Jesse at Toro sir to check it out. He came and saw that I needed to replace either the coil assembly or the primary pan if he could get one. He checked and was able to get a new pan from the manufacturer. He and his team came and spent the day correcting my issue. The house builder had incorrectly installed the in attic unit and Jesse had to do a lot of extra work to get the old one out and the new one in. Should have taken about 6 hours, but wound up closer to 9 to 10 hours. He honored his original estimate, was extremely professional and polite. He cleaned up after and explained all that was done. I can highly recommend Toro Air! read more

Heads up folks, This company running and falsely advertising on an expired License since Nov 2015 and their Corporation been suspended since August 2016. I had them come check out A/C Unit for my client and after i agreed to the price but prior to signing an agreement i decided to look up their license status. I contacted them and spoke to Jesse (Jesus) and ask him, he said his manager supposed to renew it. Any way, They seems to be nice people i wish they had their stuff together. Keep in mind if you have non licensee replace your unit, manufacture warranty is not enforceable. PLEASE SEE BELOW after my review this is the response i got from this company rather than an apology and assuring consumers that they will renew their license i got This : Born and raised in Bakersfield 26 years do an air-conditioning I'm never met nobody like you thanks for nice review on yelp, i'll tell everybody about you and how well you operate. read more

Today was day 100000 of heat over 100° in bakersfield. I get home from work and my house is HOT!!! Being a single mom I start to panic. My best friend referred me to Toro Air. And I'm sooooo glad I listened Jesse was here in less then a hour. Even though it was almost 8pm. He had my AC unit running in no time. I was ready and expecting to have to load up my family and get a hotel room for the night. I highly recommend Jesse and Jose Toro and will be using only Toro Air from now on. My house has not been as cool as we would like. I have a newer unit, but never kept up on the maintenance. The unit was serviced and fine. However, the technician checked all my vents and gave me helpful tips on keeping my house cooler. Very friendly! read more

AC was blowing warm air, so I called two companies that said they weren't taking new appointments. Thought that was interesting. Anyway, I called Toro Air and spoke with Jesse, and he said it's $90 for a service call, which I thought was great. He showed up on time and got started. He knew right away what I suspected - the condenser wasn't turning on. He spent two hours rewiring rotted lines, replaced capacitor, measuring current draw, etc. Unfortunately, the 15-year old condenser was dead. He quoted me a great turnkey price on a new unit, which I accepted. Since their visit, I've recommended them to 8 different people. Super friendly and knowledgeable staff that I will continue to use for years to come. read more

Highly recommend TORO Air conditioning. Im currently on the process of moving to a ranch home that has been vacant for a year so yes AC hasn't been maintain or turn on since then. I also had notice that when I would turn the AC unit wasn't cooling no more than 90 degrees after leaving it on for 3hrs. So I knew it needed to be check out. Not only did Jesse the owner showed up ay my door step with a great smile but he did an excellent job within 20 min he had me running and my AC was cooling at 61 degrees. Oh I was sooooo happy. Jesse definitely knows what he's doing performs work in a timely manner. And is very fair in price I will pay him 10k time to get his services anytime... read more

Had an issue with my AC last week and call around for quotes. Got snobby people on the phone that couldn't come check out the issue till days later. I got to call Jesse from Toro Air and he was so helpful over the phone, asked me a few questions of what was going on. He was able to come within a few hours to check out the issue. He diagnosed the problem, I never met a person so honest and helpful like him before. I could recommend him to anyone. Quick, professional, reliable, honest, and hard working people. read more

Came home from work day before yesterday to find that it was 86 degrees in my home with the thermostat set to 75 degrees. Called multiple AC services in town who apparently have ALL of the business they care to take on during this season. (Shocker!) Even had one tell me I'd here back from a technician in "15-20 mins", when I didn't hear back in an hour I returned the call only to receive an answering service stating the business was now closed. REALLY?! :( Jesse was the only provider able to follow through with an evening appointment the same day! His dedication to keeping me informed is commendable. Naturally, when one is sitting in a sauna with bedtime around the corner and work again the next day, being kept informed is GOLDEN! Jesse was adept at troubleshooting my issue! Provided me with timely estimates and made our decision making process smooth and easy. His promise and skill are apparent in the way he handles business and in the way he gaurantees his work! Thank you for great service, Jesse! Amazing :) read more

I called Toro because they were second on the review list. We found that the list was completely inaccurate, they should be number ONE! After the initial service call they returned twice to fix a problem that our builder created by installing the unit improperly with no additional service charges! The unit works great and I wouldn't trust anyone else in the future!!! Thanks Toro, Pete S. read more

Best A/C technician in town. Honest, trustworthy and smart. Great prices, great service, I would recommend Toro to anyone. Thanks Jesse.

June Friday noon, 103 out, and Toro was the only company of 4 called to respond and come within 2h. I wasn't even able to be home and upon finishing they called and explained what they'd done. Paid for it over the phone. Really, it couldn't be easier. Only reason they got 4 stars is because of the price, which seemed a little high to me ($90 service call+work done). But I couldn't bear the service. Will use them again. read more

Due to miscommunication, the techs never showed up at my house when they were scheduled to be there the day before between 4-6pm. I was called back that same evening at 9pm and was told they could send a tech out at 8am the next day and even waive the service fee. I waited for an hour and still nobody showed up. After calling them back, their receptionist apologized and said she was unable to reach the tech who had made an appointment with me the night before but she'd keep trying. I finally asked her not to send anyone out because I was tired of them wasting my time. I called another AC company who was able to get to my house in 30 minutes! read more

My AC would not kick on the other day and i did as much troubleshooting as i could. I called Toro and Julie was able to get me an appointment that day with a tech. If i have any HVAC issues, i'm definitely calling Toro again. Thanks guys! read more

Best air conditioning company we've used. Mr. Toro was the one who came to our home. He's the first A.C. man that didn't try to upsell us a new A.C. unit when our house isn't even that old.
