Our view from the room.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We booked a room to have as a relaxing & comfortable place to rest after a 10 hour drive for our roadtrip we were on & we were not disappointed. Coupled with the charm of the old estate there was a delicious breakfast served the morning of our departure & the bed was to die for. James was a fantastic host & the grounds were beautiful. I highly recommend.

The bed and breakfast grounds, home and your 3 course breakfast served every morning

If I could do 10 star I would. The owners are amazing every morning. The three course breakfast was unbelievable. The grounds and the home is just breathtaking. Clean comfortable and everything you want. Within walking distance to the downtown, which is absolutely adorable with a bread festival that we went to and little shops and great restaurants. A lot of history and culture in the town right next to the bit of references a very old cemetery. Only in that has a pool, plenty of lounge chairs to sit out and relax again we could not want for anything else. We did a jet boat ride, which was amazing down the river Again, you will not be disappointed if you book here 10 star review from me.

Such a beautiful, well-kept house with history, but it comes with pool with a hammock, sauna, and hot tub. It's hidden a bit away from Main St, so it's very quiet. Definitely will revisit when I'm in town. The host/service was exceptional - I was celebrating my anniversary and the host provided delicious cake, champagne, and charcuterie that my husband and I loved.

Time travel back into historic Jacksonville with exceptional hospitality. The house is beautiful and the extensive grounds invite in the local wildlife. We just parked the car and for the weekend, strolled placidly, and enjoyed the Decembrists on the lawn. The Britt concert venue is a Southern Oregon hidden gem with an impressive lineup of artists.

Handsomely decorated and very festive with attention to detail! We wanted to actually spend time in the game room and read books etc but we were also enjoying our room and watching TV on the comfy beds with the high thread count sheets! The room rate includes a three course breakfast and being diabetic the owner took pains to find out and even discuss with me what to make for me! I was blown away! I was OK with just some eggs honestly but oh no! they were committed to 100% customer satisfaction! By the way, she also offered us a glass of wine after we've checked in and she's showed us to our room! She actually brought it to us...what?????!!!! A beautiful property, excellent innkeepers, beautiful room, tres romantic, I hate to write this because I would hate for the rest of the world to know!! But you know these folks deserve to be successful for the love and care they put into the place and their guests' satisfaction. We'll be back! BTW did we mention romantic? ROMANTIC!

We stayed here during an Oregon Shakesperare Festival trip and really enjoyed ourselves. The staff/owners are amazing. Very friendly, helpful, but not in any way intrusive. The accomodations are great. The House itself is on the National Historic Register and have been well taken care of. The breakfast was awesome--homemade granola with fruit and yogurt--delicious! One thing to keep in mind is that if you're considering this for accomodations for an OSF trip, you may want to reconsider. It is over half an hour from Ashland, so not very convenient if you want to stop back by between shows or shopping. Very nice place, well staffed. Highly recommended.

I called in around 9am to make a reservation and Wendi (the Owner) gladly took us same day for a 12:30pm slot. I told her my boyfriend has some food restrictions like he doesn't like mayo so she was able to make some sandwiches without it. She asked if we want the Princess tea ($35 per head) or the Queen tea ($40 per head) so we chose the Princess set. An hour later we arrived to the The Painted Lady Tea house! Mostly street parking but it's not busy so it was easy to park in front the house. The house entrance had two doors but for some reason the first door you see is locked so you enter the right door side as their entrance. The ambiance of the place was super pretty like each section of the house had different themes. Wendi greeted us and said we can sit anywhere in the house. There was two other groups that was dining and noticed they were wearing cool hats so my boyfriend chose to wear a Jester hat and I chose to wear a frilly flower hat. I saw one group eating the Queen tea set so I asked Wendi if we can change our meal plan to that instead and she was able to make the last minute change. We chose to sit in the green room because it was very earthy, decorated with plants, and had small water fountains. Here is what's inside the modified Queen tea set meal: Appetizer -2x Ginger scone -2x Lemon scone -English Tea -Side of sugar cubes -Side of creamer Entree -Croissant sandwich (Ham, cheese, tomato, leafy greens, mustard, mayo) -Egg sandwich -Curry chicken salad sandwich -6x cucumber cream cheese sandwiches *no mayo* -2x crusted egg quiche -Green grapes -Chocolate dipped tangerines -2x Chocolate crunchy dipped strawberries -2x Chocolate drizzled strawberries Dessert -2x Strawberry ice cream cake -2x Oreo cheesecake My boyfriend got a whole Croissant sandwich since the other sandwiches contained mayo. He ended up not liking it because he didn't know there was mustard in it so he just wiped it off and didn't want to ask for a new one. Most tea places I've been don't usually add mustard into their sandwiches so maybe next time I should've said no sauces or all sauces on the side. Their website menu didn't have any details of the sandwiches, it was very vague. I'm kind of sad he wasn't able to enjoy the other sandwiches with me so I wish there was more no sauce sandwich options or self serve sauces in the future but that's what I get for dating a picky boyfriend lol. I really enjoyed everything and loved the decor of the house! But I felt like the menu had too many sweets. I would be fine with just the scones, dipped strawberries, grapes, and oreo cheesecake but the extra dipped tangerine and strawberry ice cream cake were too much. Maybe I suggest make the strawberry ice cream cake and oreo cheesecake to be bite sized. It would be nice if there was a good ratio of savory like maybe add chips, soup, cheese cubes, or other charcuterie board savory snacks. I still recommend this place! Great place to bring your family and friends to enjoy for a fancy stop over from a long days road trip :)

Our wedding at The Willows was perfect…read more We initially looked at The Willows in January and decided it was a great value based on the packages they offer. Our meeting was in April to decide the different options for our event and the ceremony in October. Joe did a great job cleaning up the grounds for our wedding and Sandy made sure family who chose to stay at the B&B were well taken care of. Yes, they have rules that help them manage their properly but we found none of them unreasonable. We decided to have our ceremony in the upper grassy area at the rear of the property and the reception under the tent they purchased this year which worked out great. The food served was a brunch meal and was excellent.

The bathrooms were filthy, had spider webs everywhere. The paint was chipping throughout the venue. Looked like they didn't bother to upkeep the yard work. No lights by the walking area at night (which is a huge safety hazard). We had seniors with walkers.... Fruit flies in the drinks. Oh....here's the biggest one.... The owner's wife is a nutcase AND SHE'S RUDE. We witnessed her drive a golf cart and back into a guest's truck and then continue to yell at them....it was completely her fault. Don't waste your money. Find a new wedding venue.
