The accomodations are great. The House itself is on the National Historic Register and have been well taken care of. The breakfast was awesome--homemade granola with fruit and yogurt--delicious! One thing to keep in mind is that if you're considering this for accomodations for an OSF trip, you may want to reconsider. It is over half an hour from Ashland, so not very convenient if you want to stop back by between shows or shopping. Very nice place, well staffed. Highly recommended.

I called in around 9am to make a reservation and Wendi (the Owner) gladly took us same day for a 12:30pm slot. I told her my boyfriend has some food restrictions like he doesn't like mayo so she was able to make some sandwiches without it. She asked if we want the Princess tea ($35 per head) or the Queen tea ($40 per head) so we chose the Princess set. An hour later we arrived to the The Painted Lady Tea house! Mostly street parking but it's not busy so it was easy to park in front the house. The house entrance had two doors but for some reason the first door you see is locked so you enter the right door side as their entrance. The ambiance of the place was super pretty like each section of the house had different themes. Wendi greeted us and said we can sit anywhere in the house. There was two other groups that was dining and noticed they were wearing cool hats so my boyfriend chose to wear a Jester hat and I chose to wear a frilly flower hat. I saw one group eating the Queen tea set so I asked Wendi if we can change our meal plan to that instead and she was able to make the last minute change. We chose to sit in the green room because it was very earthy, decorated with plants, and had small water fountains. Here is what's inside the modified Queen tea set meal: Appetizer -2x Ginger scone -2x Lemon scone -English Tea -Side of sugar cubes -Side of creamer Entree -Croissant sandwich (Ham, cheese, tomato, leafy greens, mustard, mayo) -Egg sandwich -Curry chicken salad sandwich -6x cucumber cream cheese sandwiches *no mayo* -2x crusted egg quiche -Green grapes -Chocolate dipped tangerines -2x Chocolate crunchy dipped strawberries -2x Chocolate drizzled strawberries Dessert -2x Strawberry ice cream cake -2x Oreo cheesecake My boyfriend got a whole Croissant sandwich since the other sandwiches contained mayo. However, you do get a $10 daily credit to the coffee shop/restaurant with full breakfast and lunch menus. You get the full credit upfront, so you can use as much as you want over the stay. The coffee shop (Goodbean) is a 60-second walk door to door. I recommend the scones, bagels, coffee, and chai. We stayed in the Luna Vista with our 10-month baby and was provided with a pack n' play. Although the place isn't ideal for a moving infant, we were able to move objects and the innkeeper, Duane, offered to take out whatever we needed so the place worked just fine. The room is gorgeously decorated with dual balconies and lots of natural light. The kitchen has sufficient appliances. The bed is very comfortable. Everything is incredibly clean. The toiletries smell good. You are also located at the head of a row of adorable gift stores. The nearby restaurants get mixed reviews, but you're still in walking distance of plenty of others. Another guest noted the Luna Vista is above the garage, which is true, but it wasn't a problem during our stay. There will only be 2-3 cars in and out, max. If you do bring a moving baby, I recommend bringing your own portable high chair. We used the Summer Infant Pop n' Sit and sat on an end table to feed her next to the desk, as the main table doesn't accommodate infant feeding. The tub had a bath mat so we didn't need to bring an infant tub. This place is wonderful and I adore it. You get so much considering what you pay. Jacksonville is much better to stay in than Medford should you be visiting the area. Just a side note, if you are short, you might struggle a little bit here. However, there is a step stool.

Our meeting was in April to decide the different options for our event and the ceremony in October. Joe did a great job cleaning up the grounds for our wedding and Sandy made sure family who chose to stay at the B&B were well taken care of. Yes, they have rules that help them manage their properly but we found none of them unreasonable. We decided to have our ceremony in the upper grassy area at the rear of the property and the reception under the tent they purchased this year which worked out great. The food served was a brunch meal and was excellent.

The owner's wife is a nutcase AND SHE'S RUDE. We witnessed her drive a golf cart and back into a guest's truck and then continue to yell at them....it was completely her fault.
