I just found out it was someone's birthday 2 days ago so I called Mrs Amelia again. she was so busy but again fit me in. I told her flavour and colours.... make it pretty... the flavour and moistness of these cakes are amazing. I would not email or reach out on face book ( maybe I should not say that...). I only say this because CALL and they will do anything they can to help you. she used to be an RN so she can read peoples voices and somehow their need for that perfect cake people will talk about months after eating. it's not a fancy place but her cakes if needed ARE! I saw pics of her work and the talent her and her husband turn out in these cakes is amazing.... so if your looking for a cake for a few or a 100 at a reasonable price.... I would say put this bakery in your contacts. thank you again for the perfect cake! I wish I could show pictures.... Idk how on yelp. So go to their website to have a look.... One last thing, since she was an RN if you're looking for a baker that knows allergy/ dietary needs regarding a cake.... This is the bakery you want. thank you T

I love any and all cake. My husband does not even like sweets. When we began the wedding planning…read moreprocess, we expected the cake to be icing on top of the event (no pun intended). Thanks to Amelia, however, both the process of selecting the cake and the end product became a highlight of our wedding: 1) Amelia's set up with different flavored cupcakes to try with various icings and fillings was brilliant. It was a favorite part of the planning stage, and helped land on a combo that we could not have come up with on our own. 2) A lot of wedding cakes are beautiful, but I rarely see guests get up to admire them. Amelia's talent and versatility re: design was such, however, that our cake ended up being a focal point during dinner, and was shared by so many different guests on social media after. Amelia was so wonderful working with us from a previous concept to tailor it to our venue, and it looked amazing. 3) Critically, the cake TASTED as amazing as it looked. It's normally a win to get a slice of wedding cake that isn't dried out. Our guests expressed to us that they took second slices offered with coffee, and, as a cake aficionado, I ate several more both after the wedding and for breakfast the next day. Even my husband who doesn't like sweets loved it. The only downside is that Amelia may have set the bar way too high, and he's not getting cake like that local to us any time soon. TLDR if you are getting married in the Jax area, or doing any event that can use a cake, I cannot recommend Cake Me to Paradise enough. Thank you so much Amelia from both of us!

Our daughter loved the cake and for that we are thankful for them helping to make an incredible birthday experience for her. Their work very closely resembled the graphics we shared during the ordering process. I do apologize for this likely being a challenging design, but quite impressed that you and your team pulled it off so well and even hand delivered an hour before the event. We normally don't care for buttercream style cakes (mostly because it's just nauseatingly sweet and often gritty), but the taste of this cake which was vanilla layered with vanilla buttercream was a delight-- not overly sweet and has a great flavor, including the fondant too. We were also concerned that the cake would fall over like a tree as soon as we cut into it, but they secured it very well and that did not happen at all. Thanks again Aldo and team! We hope this cake wasn't too much of a struggle but you deserve an honest positive review. We highly recommend their work and will be considering again for any specialty cake requests in the future.

I ordered the Strawberry Cheesecake Funnel Cake, it comes with powdered sugar, cheese cake bites, fresh strawberries, strawberry drizzle, vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. I also ordered a side of sweet plantains, rice/black beans totaling $27.35 and at first I was like......"daaaaaaamn" (as I dropped a tip in the jar). . . . BUT . . . My first bite alleviated the cost and took me back to when I had my first elephant ear as a kid on the west coast. Amazing isn't giving them enough credit, this is a memory I won't forget. The funnel cake sundaes combine the best of ice cream lovers with state fair food! Then the toppings! I was introduced to Funnel Cake Queen thanks to Yelp- I got to have a funnel cake sundae for FREE!!! And 2 days later- I went back to try another! Don't judge me! I love baked goods more than ice cream, or ice cream complimenting something else- like pie. So a funnel cake with ice cream is perfect for me! Gives me the "cake" body with ice cream too! I tried the Big Banana Split with the ice cream on the side- whoa! 2 desserts- a funnel cake in all it's powdered sugar goodness and a banana split too! There was so much dessert I was stuffed and in a sugar haze when I left! John got the Chocolate Lovers the first time- with ice cream on the funnel cake- chocolate ice cream with mini-m&m's & a mound of whipped cream. He too- sugar coma. Then on the return I went with the caramel apple and got it on the funnel cake this time and John went with the Oreo Crush with ice cream on the side. Breakdown- ice cream on the cake- great crash of flavors and textures, but if you don't eat quickly enough- the melting ice cream will make the cake soggy. On the side- it's not the eye candy of seeing the almost artistic creation of the funnel cake sundae, but- you can enjoy both on their own or still eat them together without the sogginess. It was good, and had more whipped cream in it than the one I'm used to, but I've probably had slightly better examples. For $6, it's not a great value: smaller than the cinnamon roll and not as good. I might get it again, but probably not at that price. This remains one of my favorite bakeries in town, and we'll be back periodically. Update: We tried another cinnamon roll.
