Holy deliciousness, Batman! We chose Judy to do our wedding cake and she knocked it out of the park! I'll admit to some hesitation at first - the shop has dated examples of cakes and Judy was late to our meeting making a delivery. At the tasting, we went over design, price, and did a tasting. We tasted a number of different flavor cakes and fillings. I'm a decently accomplished home baker and I promise you Judy has some of the best buttercream I've tasted. We ended up choosing the amaretto pound cake with chocolate amaretto filling and buttercream - no fondant. The cake was absolutely beautiful and delicious! And the icing was so smooth it looked like fondant at first glance. Judy even made us a separate anniversary cake and gave us instructions on how to preserve it. It's in the freezer and and we'll check it out on our first anniversary! read more

This was a birthday cake for my girlfriend and it turned out both beautiful and delicious. Emily love to knit and a lot of the things she makes are for others. She loves to knit the baby caps for the newborns up at the hospital so I ask Judy if she could incorporate that into the design. The cake itself is traditional German chocolate. The cap and ball of yarn are not balls of frosting! She had cake inside them. We ate the cake almost immediately upon receiving it and everyone loved it. It wasn't overly rich or iced to to death. It was filling with the right touch of sweet and the cake was fluffy. It held together well until we ate it. read more

We found this "Jewel" via the internet while we were two weeks out from our event we thought we could go local and get what we wanted and discovered that we could not and that the cake that we wanted would need to be professionally made! Did I say that we only talked to this lady on the phone and sent her pictures gave her our budget she asked my daughter which cake that she like the best and of the two cakes that we sent her what part was her favorite maybe a day or two later she sent me a quote and told me she would incorporate the two of what my daughter liked the best and make the cake we had no idea what this cake was going to look like until we picked it up about 12:15 on July 29th OMG!!!she did not disappoint us!!!
