Not your average funnel cake spot. To begin, I was a little skeptical of eating here only because funnel cakes tend to be made without much effort but this place didn't disappoint. I ordered the Strawberry Cheesecake funnel cake and my girl ordered the brownie funnel cake. They were both outstanding. Both funnel cakes were light, crispy, and a hint of sweet. The strawberry syrup and the FRESH strawberries on top sealed the deal with this one.. oh also the small bites of cheesecake thrown in there too?... done deal. 10/10. The brownie funnel cake was not overbearing. Again, the funnel cakes were made to perfection and the chocolate syrup and pieces of brownie on the top w/the ice cream just made this a 10/10 desert choice. The biggest takeaway was I didn't feel slowed down or "fluffy" after eating this. We all hate that "I can't move or I shouldn't have eaten that" feeling when indulging in these types of meals but these funnel cakes left me with a smile on my face -- that's it. I will definitely make this a go-to stop when I'm back in Jacksonville!

Um um goood! Stopped by the Regency Mall location. Service was friendly. They customized the topping for me. All I can say is absolutely delicious! Worth all of the calories.

This place is amazing! We went twice, first for a Yelp event and then a few days later again. You can't go wrong with ice cream or funnel cakes... Putting them together is magnificence. Funnel Cake Queen offers a multitude of flavor combinations. My first was "Chocolate Lover" with funnel cake, chocolate ice cream, chocolate syrup, mini M&Ms, chocolate jimmies, and whipped cream. It was amazing! My second one was the "Oreo Special" with funnel cake, vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, chocolate syrup, and crushed oreo cookies. This time I opted to have the ice cream on the side so my funnel cake wouldn't get soggy. Crystal had the "Banana Split" the first time and then the "Cinnamon Apple". All were amazing. Don't miss this place but pay attention to their hours. It is located in the Regency Mall food court

Oh my goodness. Did I just die, go heaven, and come back to life? Yup. Definitely did. Funnel cake queen was THAT GOOD. As someone who is 8 months pregnant this may have been the best thing I've eaten all pregnancy!! I've been to the Regency Mall area quite a bit to go to the movies however I'd never been inside the mall/to the food court. I was pleasantly surprised how busy it was I opted for the Reese's lover funnel cake and it did not disappoint. I got the small size and it was anything but small! It was fresh out of the fryer and topped with decadent caramel and chocolate drizzles as well as Reese's pieces and and chopped Reese's peanut butter cups. In addition there was a scoop of vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. The heat put off by the fresh funnel cake makes for a delicious melt in your mouth experience as the chocolate and peanut butter flavors all melt together I also picked up a caramel apple funnel cake to go for my husband which he enjoyed just as much as I enjoyed mine. Next time we go to the movies we'll be hitting up funnel cake queen again

The golden oreo funnel cake is great! It had a bit too much crushed golden oreos for me but to some that may actually be a good thing! Overall: I will definitely come back to this place again.

Nostalgia at its finest. I have so many childhood memories of carnivals and the "original" food trucks that consisted of corn dogs and the infamous funnel cakes. It's such a treat (literally) that food trucks have become so prominent in the past few years. The Funnel Cake Queen embodies the vision of traditional food trucks. Not only does Funnel Cake Queen offer the classic funnel cake with powdered sugar but they have a delightful selection of other more "souped up" options. Tonight we opted for the Turtle Sundae which was your classic funnel cake with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, pecans, caramel and chocolate drizzle. It was phenomenal!!! I saw people around us ordering Fried Oreos, Apple Delight (classic with apple topping), Banana Walnut Rush (classic with bananas, vanilla ice cream, walnut, whipped cream and caramel) and we were all colored impressed! They offer about 7 other types of funnel cakes. New Years Resolution to try all 10. Haha! To top it off they provide utensils and to go boxes, napkins and all of the staff are friendly and fun! They put smiles on all of their customers faces and you can tell they love what they do! I love businesses like this one!!

Funnel cakes bring out a childlike joy for me, so Funnel Cake Queen does just that! They have so many different funnel cake creations. You can even get your funnel cake customized! I've had the Oreo Earthquake and it was delicious, but recently I customized my funnel cake! It was a warm, sweet, cinnamon sugar vibe! If you're looking for your new favorite funnel cake place, this is it! Also, this is a business owned by a black woman!

More than just funnel cake here. I enjoyed the shrimp lemon pepper seasoning and the fries were very nice, double batter style. The wings were ok, plenty of sauces to choose from.

I loved the plain with powdered sugar funnel cake. They have many kinds of funnel cakes, but I just wanted the one I had. It brought back many memories of when I was young and would go to the Jax. Fair and have funnel cakes. They are conveniently located in the Regency Square Mall Foodcourt. I look forward to coming back soon. The employees were very nice.

If Regency Mall succeeds in their revitalization efforts, it'll have popular food trucks turned food court destinations to thank. Funnel Cake Queen has made the Regency Mall Food Court a must eat location. This is the Apple Delight. A light, airy, and crispy funnel cake topped with cinnamon apples and powdered sugar. Delicious!

It's hard to describe how excited we were about this cotton candy funnel cake with just words. It totally made our day. Felt like kids again and it was truly delicious. Thank you funnel cake queen for such a fun sweet treat

Hands down the best funnel cake I have ever tasted. The texture was so moist my fork slid through the cake, cheese cake and frosting! I'm getting hungry writing this review!

Our visit to Biscottis in Jacksonville's Avondale neighborhood managed to do both. We were greeted warmly when we arrived and seated immediately, and the atmosphere had a welcoming energy that made the restaurant feel like a true neighborhood gathering place. Susan ordered the Quiche Lorraine, and after the first bite we both knew it was something special. The crust was delicate and buttery while the filling was rich and perfectly balanced. It was so impressive that we awarded it our Culinary Duo Best of the Best dish recognition, which is something we reserve for truly standout dishes. Peter went in a different direction and ordered the Sweet Potato Pancakes with house made white cheddar hash browns. The pancakes were flavorful and comforting, and the hash browns were crispy with bold cheddar flavor that made them impossible to stop eating. Another thing we appreciated was learning that Biscottis carries the Slow Food First Coast Snail of Approval, recognizing restaurants that support sustainable agriculture and local food traditions. The service throughout the visit was cheerful and attentive, and the staff seemed genuinely happy to be there. If you enjoy restaurants that combine great brunch dishes, incredible desserts, and a lively neighborhood atmosphere, Biscottis is definitely worth visiting.

The burger is greasy/wet, it is drenched in a bland cheese sauce, the meat is underseasoned, and the patty has no sear. Definitely not worth anything near the $21 cost. The salmon BLT is served on bread that is cut so thick you're mostly just eating old/stale bread, and the sandwich is also greasy. Their french fries come drenched in a disgusting garlic oil and cheap grated parmesan. It's bad cooking dressed up to look fancy without any understanding of the basics. The restaurant fits as well. Its ugly artwork is accompanied by furniture that looks like it was ripped out of a Le Pain Quotidien. The cakes look amazing, and the bar is nicely designed and well stocked, but neither saves the drab surrealist-cafeteria vibe of this pretentious establishment.

The ham was below average, with one hard bit. My wife didn't like that there was so little pineapple in it. Our Napoleon pastry was pretty good, and I might get it again ($5 for a small one). We both preferred it to the brownie ($4). I don't particularly like brownies, but this one looked particularly appetizing, and the order-taker said it was one of her favorites, so we tried it. That was a mistake. Perhaps I should have tried the mini cream puffs, which are a favorite of mine (3 for $5), instead.
