We've been coming here for over a year and only had good experiences up until today. Our iced tiramisu latte had waxy unblended chunks of cream or something white in it, and we told three employees and all of them seemed unconcerned. It tasted and felt like out-of-date cream. They didn't check the cream, they said they could remake it but it would taste the same because it's made with the same stuff. The chunks are not normal and we have never seen this in any other drink we've been served before, here or otherwise. I don't know if it's lack of training or blatant disregard but I'm really put off at the total lack of concern and attitude.

Tous Les Jours bake shops are opening up around the area, and I went to this location to have coffee/tea with my brother. It is a South Korean franchise, and many of the baked goods reflect the Korean style. This location was right on the Pike, in a small strip shopping center with limited parking. But inside, it's very lovely. There are cases and cases of bread and baked goods, self serve style. There is also a coffee bar area where you can grab lattes, matcha, and teas, as well as a dessert/cake case. There are many tables and chairs to sit and eat, or lounge, sip, and do some work. My brother was very happy with his latte. My chai latte needed to be redone, as it was a bit cold and mild. The baristas were kind and redid it with no problem, making sure it was hot and had the correct spice content. They do have some basic pre-packaged sandwiches, but not much otherwise in the realm of actual meals. So don't come expecting to get a full entree. But the pastries and cakes looked amazing. This location was very clean. I will return again!

I was really in the mood for a delicious coffee on a Sunday afternoon after a foot massage. I decided to check out this new location in my neighborhood and I am so pumped that they are here. I've been to other locations but this one being so close is really nice. Inside is pretty big and they have a great selection of sweets and savory items. I picked out a few to try and that was really hard because I wanted a little bit of everything! I especially loved how interesting their coffee menu was and all the different options they had. They also had a beautiful looking cake display that I will remember in the future! I sat down with my items and my drink and I really enjoyed the experience of just taking it easy on a Sunday afternoon. This seems like a great place to meet a friend or to just relax on your own!

I wrote this review but accidentally posted it to the wrong location. Hopefully, Yelp does not flag my review, as I'm only reposting to the correct business. Original review for Catonsville location: Seen this bakery many times, but never had a chance to try. I was in the area for an appointment and decided to check it out. I was surprised by the size of the space bc it looked small from the outside. Very nice atmosphere, peaceful and quiet inside. The layout is organized neatly and uniform. When you enter the first thing you see (on the left) are the baked goods lined up in see through enclosed cases, great presentation. There's a large selection, so you have many options to choose from, including pastries, breads, doughnuts, pies and more. The right side of the bakery has lots of seating, you shouldn't have a problem a place to enjoy your baked treats. As you go further in, they also have a small section offering cold sandwiches, and bottled beverages. Further towards the back you can pay at the register and also order coffee/tea beverages, or smoothies. Next to the register you can also see their specially cakes. OMG, I wanted to try them all. I find it difficult to resist when it comes to pastries, cakes and all things sweet. So now of course, this is now one of my new favorite places. Anyway, I ended up starting off with a chicken salad sandwich, it was delicious. I ate it so fast bc I was famished and forgot to take pictures. I also got an iced early grey cloud tea, very tasty. I felt satisfied and happy after eating. Moving on, I decided to get a few pastries to go. I got the Portuguese egg tart, caramel almond pastry, and a pain aux raisin. All of these were excellent quality and tasted great, flaky and fresh and everything you look for in good pastry. Service was also pretty good, staff was attentive and friendly. I wanted to get so much more, but refrained myself. I will be back and hope to try one of their other locations as well.

I love this new Tous Les Jours location in Catonsville! Their pastries are fresh and delicious. The bakery is also spacious and has plenty of desks for studying/work.

Cute little bakery right here on Rt. 40. While out running errands I saw Tous Les Jours out the corner of my eye. It's in a weird yet effective location. Situated next to a chiropractor and a vision works, on the side of 40 west where other businesses have t been in a long time. But it works because I was able to see it while driving and they have parking. They have an open floor plan with plenty of seating. You can choose from a community table, couch seating or 2 & 4 top tables. The selection of pastries is kinda crazy. When you first walk it, there's a wrap around pastry case. You grab a tray a tongs and pick what you like. Near the register you have an enclosed pastry case that has cakes, macarons and cake slices. They also have a nice variety of lattes and teas. I ordered the Gingerbread Latte with oat milk (extra .95), the Chocolate Pretzel, the Pink & Green Cloud cake, and the Strawberry Cream Cloud cake to go for my son. The name is French however this is an Asian bakery with so many cute Hello Kitty cakes, Matcha desserts and other Asian inspired treats. They also have a savory selection and some of those are in a heated case. You can also get your pastries heated up. Everything I tried was really good. The pretzel was perfectly flaky with the right amount of chocolate and nuts. The cakes are a dream. So light, airy and flavorful. The coffee was really good. I wish the flavor was stronger as it didn't stand up to the pretzels flavor... but that's just me. The staff here are lovely. They also sell fresh bread. I love bread and baked goods so I was excited to see that.

Bright atmosphere, open concept, efficient service, large selection of pastries, including several hot baked goods choices. Very comfortable to sit and chill. Decent amount of drinks selection from the menu over counter with both hot and cold. Price is on the higher side. We ordered 2 drinks and 5 pastries costing $54, not adding the macrons we purchased separately. Front parking is very limited, over flow parkings are around the back. Location is not very convenient given left turn out of the shop is very difficult.

So cute!! Everyone is so friendly and it is so cute inside. I've been twice since they've opened. The quality is great, I love that it's not overly sweet and more airy, definitely makes it better. Have had the tiramisu latte, tiramisu match and strawberry lemonade. Have had donuts, pastries, sweet Frank roll, lemon loafs, cookies, the list goes on!

Probably my favorite place in the world, I go every week. Take more then I should for my breakfast in the mornings. The customer service is amazing, and I was just greeted hello, as soon as I walked in while they were packaging bread!

I love the breadery! I've been eating their bread for years from various restaurants throughout…read moretown, but had never actually been to the breadery location until this week. I was immediately impressed and overwhelmed with the shear amount of options in their establishment. They not only have bread and pastries, but they also have coffee, frozen pizzas, wine and spirits, local cheeses, and a large selection of olive oils, vinegars, and balsamics. I picked up a challah bread, baguette, lemon rosemary sourdough, pumpkin chocolate muffin, two mini blueberry scones, a 4 pack of a locally owned, women owned canned cocktail I like, and a cup of coffee all for about $30. I will definitely be back!

Wanted to take a nice walk about two weeks ago (lagging on reviews again, sigh) and found the #9…read moreTrolley Line that runs from Ellicott City to Catonsville (or vice versa, more on this). Approximately halfway from either town is this delightful bakery that isn't just a bakery. As many have said, the aroma alone can make your mouth water - and we arrived midday, so I can only imagine what it's like early in the morning, when the baked goods are just coming out of the oven. They close at 2 on Saturdays, and we just made it by 1:30. Along with breads, rolls, and cookies, there are spreads both sweet and savory, dipping oils and vinegars, plus herb mixtures to sprinkle on them. I didn't investigate the wines but could easily see it's quite a collection. I missed the cheeses somehow, but DD the Cheese Queen said it was a nice assortment. There is also a cooler with soft drinks, so DGD got a berry lemonade & DD a kombucha. I bought a fresh loaf of garlic parmesan bread, and a loaf of cranberry orange pecan bread that was only $4! I see that another reviewer said the cheap loaves are due to the slicer mangling the loaf, but not the one I bought! It was perfect & just a couple of days old. Used to be you could go to most local bakeries & buy day old bread much cheaper. Anyway, even if it was "mangled" it still has amazing flavor and texture - worth every penny even at full price. DGD got a chocolate croissant and a banana muffin. She graciously let me have a taste and both were delicious. There is a free parking lot, which we didn't use of course, as we were walking. I wanted to write about the #9 Trolley Line but yelp doesn't have trail reviews (oversight!!) So I'm just going to add a little info here that does not pertain to The Breadery. Here are a couple of tips if you're doing the #9 Trolley Line walk: First and foremost, I highly recommend doing the uphill part first. In other words, start in Ellicott City. We walked as far as The Breadery and back, which was around 1.5 miles. We were all thankful to be going downhill once we were carrying our goodies! However, there is a farmer's market on Saturdays from May-October and it's a very small downtown so parking is tricky. The lot for the trailhead had people circling for spots. We're going to do the other side next weekend, but starting at The Breadery & returning there. And to be perfectly honest, even though it's a bit of a drive, I will be coming to get fresh loaves at The Breadery a couple of times a month.
