Upon arrival we had to wait a few minutes longer than start time, but it was because agent ensured we were able to tour without any other group issues! We had John T as our driver and this was one of the best tours we have had in a very long time! We laughed so hard, we literally cried. He was knowledgeable and funny and accommodating, and we would recommend this tour and John T to anyone even thinking about it. In terms of difficulty, there were moments that were a little harrowing, but we were definitely at ease with our driver. The views and experience more than make up for it though! Please do yourself a favor and utilize this company and ask for John T. Because we booked more than one tour with them, they even accommodated a deal for us on our next tour! Such a great time had by all!!

Steve Swapp, a tour guide who operates his business out of St. George, Utah, entered into a…read morecontract to provide a group of students, parents and a teacher with tour services through various European countries. While his planning was thorough and impeccable, on day 1 of this tour, he became very controlling and inflexible in his provision of services, despite the fact that he had assured the teacher that he would be very flexible with this group once he had a plan in place. He was not flexible, and in fact, punished the group for its desires to shop along the way by refusing to take the group to other desired tourist sites that were on their list. He had been paid in full in advance of the tour, and even controlled the money allotted for snacks, tolls and gas, saying that the group was to pay for them out of their spending money which he would later reimburse - something he never did. By day 5, his narcissistic behavior had caused students to ask to return home. In trying to reason with him, the group asked that he continue with them as a tour participant and allow the teacher to guide the group. Instead, he demanded that the teacher and one of the parents return home while he continued the tour. No one in the group agreed with his proposal, so he attempted to abandon the group without a fair resolution. His exit was blocked and the police were called in to negotiate with him. Their attempt to compel him to transfer the remaining funds was unsuccessful and he ran away with one of the vehicles, leaving the group stranded without their money and some of the necessary information to continue the tour. Rather than abandon the tour, the teacher asked her husband to travel to Europe with credit cards and cash to rescue the group, which he did, at great expense to them. Steve Swapp has somehow justified retaining most of the funds and refuses to issue a proper refund. He has also falsely accused the group of criminal activity and of threatening him, none of which can be substantiated.

First place I called right off said it was a 45 minute wait, and when I said where I was and where I wanted to go sounded doubtful. Second place wasn't even local and advised me to call someone else. Then I found Bob's Taxi lower down on the google results. When the man that answered the phone didn't bat an eye about my location, and told me it would be at least fifteen minutes, I was SO grateful! My ride showed up in about 20. ( no complaints, traffic is stupid in Sedona) and was Covid compliant and friendly. What more could I ask! Five stars to the knight in a black SUV that rescued me! One warning, they do take only cash, which I was informed of up front from the dispatcher. Thankfully I had the green to engage their services.

My hotel was in Oak Creek Village and most of the places that I wanted to go to were in Sedona, so I relied on them a lot. They are great! The drivers are very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They pointed out landmarks and told me a lot about Sedona and the red rock formations. Bobs Sedona Taxi also offer tours, I didn't do any of them because all of my days were pretty booked up and I had already scheduled two other tours. Based on the drivers that I met, I imagine that their tours are good. They recommended some good restaurants for me to try, which I appreciated. The cabs are very clean. They are very prompt for pre-scheduled pick ups. They are also pretty quick when called for immediate pick ups. I am mobility impaired and a couple of times I had to call them to go just a few blocks, they were great and gave me really good rates. I don't know how they compare to other Sedona taxi services because I only used Bobs. I originally chose them because of their name "Bobs" (a really old joke between me and some friends), but I continued using them because they are great.

Booked 6 for Narrows water gear online, followed advice to come the night before to pick up…read more Process was super easy, this is the 3rd time at the Narrows but the 1st renting gear and we will never go without again. Boots and socks were in great shape and dry. Made our hike the best experience yet with having peace of mind that our feet were protected and the walking stick was very handy to have. Makes us think how we ever navigated without it. Return was just as easy. Will rent again. Thanks Gurus!!

Zion Guru Outfitters: We Always Help Our Customers. My wife…read moreand I are retired and real old school. We don't respond to solicitations for completing service solicitations or surveys. That changed during our planning and for when we started our Mighty 5 road trip in Springdale UT with Zion National Park, September 11-13. We needed e-bikes for getting around the ark for 2 days and for gear for the Narrows. After reviewing the local outfitter websites for Zion, and previous customers' Youtubes, we liked what Zion Guru represented. They had a good vibe. It got better. Being new to Zion, to riding ebikes, and hiking in a river, we called with specific questions about all 3 areas. A Zion Guru staff member answered our questions simply, enthusiastically and honestly. Our e-bikes were ready for us on the morning of September 12. The customer attention by each staff member was great and really friendly. When our RV Park could not deliver our shuttle back later that day, Zion Guru said no problem. "We can help. Take your bikes overnight back to your RV park. We'll give you a charged battery now and another when you come back for your Narrows gear." Now for the best! The previous day's orientation on the Narrows and the gear we picked up (neoprene socks, hiking shoes and wooden rod), made for a great and fun experience. It was a blast! We brought our bikes back Sunday afternoon only to find out we couldn't find any way to get to our RV. Our park said can't help you. No public bus, Uber or Lyft or taxi. Shout out to Carson with Zion Guru! He asked his manager for personal time off to drive us the 12 miles back. His manager said you can stay on the clock. "They are customers. We always do what we can to help our customers." This ethic of fun, safety and customer satisfaction, local area knowledge - and staff respect - is why Zion Guru rents more e-bikes than any competitor, and why they deserve your trust and business.
