We walked in just a few minutes before closing and the owner greeted us so nicely. I was blown away at how upscale their shop is and just opened a couple months ago. Immediately I could smell the chocolate and it made me want to buy one of everything. Their selection is vast and the chocolates looked very high end but not their prices. We loved that they even have a couple of tables to sit and enjoy the business. So we bought six chocolates and had to take them home since we were heading to dinner. It was difficult to wait but we dug in after dinner and they were nothing short of amazing! Honestly, some of the best chocolates I've had in years. Dr. Sue believes that a person that consumes her all-natural dark chocolate gets a decadent treat while having a healthier option than the person might otherwise eat. Dark chocolate? Decadent? Healthy? I'm in! While I love dark chocolate, I find that many are just too bitter to enjoy. In my opinion, Dr. Sue's dark chocolate is absolutely perfect! I don't know what % chocolate she uses but I did not find it bitter at all! We purchased a 4-ounce bag of each (1) Toasted Coconut Chocolate Bark, (2) Cranberry Orange Chocolate Bark, and (3) Peppermint Chocolate Bark. I was surprised to find that of the three, I liked the Peppermint Chocolate Bark the least - I thought it would be my #1 but I was wrong. The smooth chocolate in each bark was indeed decadent and definitely the star of the show! Anyways, I found out that the bakery was pretty small and the employees were quite helpful and patient when I selected my pie. I found that the pies there rotate on a seasonal basis.
