How to make a quick stop while moving some things in a storage room and something fried was on my mind. Usually I would go for wings at a spot that has wings in the name, but I went with shrimp this time. It was like $16 for a shrimp and fry with coleslaw and hush puppy combination. Okay what a drink too. And those shrimp get immediately dusted with lemon pepper seasoning, expeditiously! They were fried shrimp was good, I have no complaints. The chicken was also pretty good too. Had sauce on it so next time I would get it without sauce just so I can see what it hit like before they dress it up. Took about 20 minutes or so, but everybody was friendly. It's in a strip mall complex so you wouldn't even know it was there unless you were looking for it. read more

Tonight I ordered wings as I always do, over the phone, they say 30 minutes, no problem. I give them 40 as it is the super bowl. I pull up and people are standing every where. I politely say to the clerk, I called in an order almost 50 minutes ago is it ready? The guy says no, we are delayed every one is waiting. I asked how long it would be, he couldn't give me an answer as he does not know what's going on in the kitchen . I leave to go sit in the car, call and ask again when the order would be ready, the guy says they ran out of wings and it's going to be a while. I said had you told me this earlier, I could have ordered from somewhere else. I asked were they still accepting orders? He said yes. I said why not stop taking orders until the kitchen can catch up. This is ridiculous. Can I speak to a manager. The young man refused saying the manager was busy. I am a regular customer, always patronize this location but TONIGHT their customer service and professionalism sucked! They had no regard for my time or giving straight answers. You are putting money over experience and exceptional service. The young man in the front was clearly flustered. I left there, Called American Deli ordered the same thing and it was ready in 15 minutes. I was disappointed cause I really wanted the fried rice at Touch Down. It's the principal for me. The Flammin Hot wings here are really good. Nice mix of burn and vinegar flavor. The fries are thick crinkle cut and you get a lot of them. Prior to COVID I used to walk in and order and I was out the door in 5-10 minutes. Call ahead is the way to go now and they have plexiglass up and the staff wears masks. We've had many a delivered wing during the CoVid days and sometimes they hit and others we had to opt for a redo! I went to the Duluth location and ordered online. When I arrived I realized that my order was just wings even though the price exceeded the menu pricing by 30%. Turns out, online prices are 30% higher, and it did not come with any sides. So I ended up spending $40 for a meal that should have cost $22 once I added a drink and one side. I love the Marietta location for Touchdown Wings but this location totally missed the mark. They didn't have my favorite flavor and the Cajun honey garlic flavor I ordered were flavorless and so were the fries, geez at least add a small amount of salt. The cashier, light complexion with beautiful cutly hair, was so stale and unfriendly even after I tried to lighten the thick air of standoffness with a compliment. She was just cold. She put my order in wrong too (ordered all flats but instead it was more drums than usual). I will not be back. I will say that the Philly Cheesesteak was WONDERFUL so I do recommend that. read more

On December 14, I received a post card mailer from Touchdown Wings announcing their "Grand Opening" at this location. It was promoting their Grand Opening special of a "10 wing combo for $5.99. This offer included the statement "10 Days Only", with no specific date mentioned. Three (3) days after receiving the mailer I called to inquire whether the wings on this grand opening offer were bone-in or boneless.... the response was "WE NO LONGER HAVE THAT SPECIAL". The service is nice, but the wings I ordered didn't come out the way they're supposed to. I ordered honey garlic wings. I know that they use syrups and all that sometimes to substitute or whatever. But my wings were all syrup. No garlic flavor at all. I eat at touchdown often, but this location doesn't have the best flavor. Great service though read more

I ate hear ordering wings and fries. I'm a big fan of wings and it's hard for me to eat wings I don't like but this place did just that... horrible. I called in the order for pickup even though I was already pulling into the parking lot. I went in early to get a drink and even though only 2 minutes had passed, the food was already done. Not realize what that meant I was impressed and took my food to eat in the car (common for me these days). As soon as I opened the box I knew what I was getting into. It was so quick because they pre-cook the wings and then let them sit so they were nearly warm but soggy and soft. I don't know how they managed to have lemon pepper without flavor but they pulled it off, bland. The only real taste I got was what I'm pretty sure is a result of not changing their oil soon enough. Last I checked, chicken shouldn't taste like fish. If you have a seafood allergy, I'd avoid this place. Giving up on the wings I went to the fries that were super soggy and limp. Again, no flavor. To make matters worse, I took almost all of the wings and fries back in and merely asked for them to make me fresh wings and they said no, I had to buy more. So from crappy food to crappy service, I WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN. I'd leave zero stars if I could!!! read more
