Kevin is great to work with and always provides hot stone treatment during my massages with no additional charge! I might try some aromatherapy next time since I see that's part of his offerings. He takes time to hear any areas of concern I have and focuses on those areas during the massage. The pressure can be a bit much at times but he adjusts quickly once I let him know. Very receptive and experienced! Tip- he does 30% off on services twice a year (summer and thanksgiving I think) so I stocked up on some of the gift cards and use it for my own massages. read more

I was reading my review recently and saw that I started getting massages with Kevin three years ago and still going to him for massage therapy every month. I started getting massages at an early age and I've had many different therapists over the decades, but he is the most consistent and stays consistent. I like deep tissue, working out all of the trouble spots, even though it can be painful, knowing I'm going to be better for it. Appointments are easily accessed online so you don't have to wait for a call back since therapists tend to be busy during the day (I've never heard of a massage therapist excepting "walk-ins" except some of the places that have a group of illegals standing around waiting for customers). And yes, if Kevin has a Groupon, he does get booked out in advance which is why I make reservations online as far in advance as I am able. @Cindy R. (If you don't show up for your appointment he just lost money. That's why he takes a credit card in advance) but your credit card doesn't get charged until after the appointment or if you are a no show. Too bad for you. I like a massage that is going to work out the knots, tight spots and any other trouble areas, and Kevin has the strength to go as deep as I can stand it. Some of his clients work for the fire department so I know that he has the strength to "release" my trouble spots. However, if you like a lighter touch, he can do that too. This was one of the best massages I have received, which is saying something with the many massages I have had in my life. Kevin has a great set up with his table, sounds of the ocean, hot stones, and a relaxing space. Also, the Groupon deal is a stellar one. All the booking is online. Kevin made sure to address the areas I highlighted. He provided good, consistent pressure and the hot stones were amazing. It was such a relaxing experience that I was between awake and asleep. At the end, he was able to process a tip on a card and walked me out. Make sure you arrive about ten minutes before your appointment. I was 20-30 minutes early and the front door was locked. I was a massage therapist for years so I'm really picky about the body work I receive from an other therapist. He listens. He is professional. He is skilled. He know how to work the muscles and get the kinks out. Is modifies the pressure so that I can relax and benefit from the massage. He will modify the music he plays during the session to suit your tastes. He uses hot rocks. Never been a fan of hot rocks, but Kevin uses them therapeutically to help ease the tight back muscles and then he augments that work with his personal massage techniques. I had hesitations to go to a male therapist but I am now sold and get massages 2 times a month. My work is stressful and he keeps my ears away from my shoulders. He runs specials that's how I found him. (What luck!) It can be hard to get an appointment but Kevin has always been able to fit me in to his full schedule. I could not be happier. read more

This is not just another massage practitioner. Kevin is a true Massage Therapist, and he gave the best massage I've ever had. Upon arriving, Kevin was waiting to greet me, and took me directly back. After a quick intake form, the massage started immediately. The facility was beautiful, without a speck of dirt. As far as my massage, it seems he was really in tune with my body,i.e. He knew which areas were sore, which areas needed light or heavy pressure, or other areas that needed extra attention. All without me telling him. He also did some patient teaching on some stretches for me to continue at home to alleviate pain. You won't be upsold here. I bought a massage through Groupon for a discounted price. I tried to make an appointment and was told that I had to go through the website only to book it, even though he gave me the time and day. When I went to the website, I was required to put in a credit card without any notice that I would be charged for anything or asking for my authorization. I had to cancel my appointment due to a conflicting appointment. My appointment was at 830am and I text the number that had confirmed my appointment that I was unable to make the appointment due to a doctors visit. I wasn't able to call the office due to no phone calls allowed in my doctors office. I received several phone calls in a row from the business at the time of my appointment but was unable to answer the phone. I then receive an email stating that I am being charged 3 times the amount I paid for the massage and an additional fee because he wasn't able to charge my card for the amount he had tried to. I told him I wasn't paying anything and that he had not provided this policy at the time of booking. He then quoted the price of what he normally charges and based his fees on this instead of what I paid. The Groupon also states there can be no fee greater than what you paid for the groupon. He then redeemed my Groupon after I told him I was requesting a refund so that I couldn't get my money back. This business is unethical and shady. read more
