Nearly two years after the fact and my sciatica still flairs up constantly, hasn't been the same…read moresince I visited this place, if there was a way to prove they caused this issue I would sue their asses into oblivion, In response to the owner, I have had dozens of massages over the years and never before or since have I experienced such aggressive stretching, also I was never asked nor gave consent for those kind of stretches, the only thing I have experienced even close was in high school and college in an athletic training room. Irresponsible to perform them on a senior citizen who is not in prime shape.

I just finished a lymphatic drainage massage with Angella and as soon as I got home, I had to write…read morea review. I feel bad because I started out with one of those (silent service please) cards on the stool ((sorry Angella)) but as the service got started, she gave me tidbits of information on what she was doing and why. She also gave me a few pointers on what i can do at home or on my own time and with that, we just started talking and she walked me through alot of the process which i loved. She was incredibly knowledgeable, strategic, and every movement had a purpose. She definitely kicked my butt (which for 8 days out or surgery, it was to be expected) but it wasn't painful at all. She was able to get all the fluids moving in my body and it was very relieving. When the service was done and I stood up to change back into my clothes, I could notice a huge difference with a reduction of swelling. Even as I'm sitting at home, I expected to feel kind of crappy after because of all the toxins being pushed out but I feel great. I can not say enough good things about Angella. I highly highly recommend for a lymph massage if you're looking for someone! I'll definitely be back!

Do NOT come to this establishment. My experience was extremely disappointing, and the way this…read moresituation was handled by the front reception was unprofessional and lacked basic communication. I arrived approximately 5 minutes late for my appointment (11:20 a.m. for an 11:15 a.m. appointment) and had already communicated beforehand that I would be arriving at 11:18 a.m. I understand that late arrivals can affect appointment times, but what was never communicated was that this would result in losing treatment time or that choosing to reschedule to receive the full service would result in an $40 cancellation fee. Instead of clearly explaining the policy and giving me all the information upfront, I was told after the fact that the fee would be applied. I was charged $40 unfairly for a gift appointment from my friend, who is a weekly client at this establishment. After this experience, I have already encouraged her to take her business elsewhere. The massage therapist also did not provide a welcoming experience upon arrival. Rather than greeting me professionally and warmly, the interaction immediately felt as though I was an inconvenience and that the shortened appointment was being emphasized instead of trying to provide a positive client experience. Policies are one thing, but communication and customer service matter. Unfortunately, this establishment failed in both areas.

Eureka, I found my person! I used chiropractors for years after a car accident. Doing endless…read more"maintenance" adjustments was not ok with me. Was I even "fixed"? After repeated hounding by a friend about it, I finally agreed to try Bowen with a guy in Auburn. He healed me after three treatments! He became my go-to "doc" for any future falls, strains, sciatica episodes or neck aches. Well...he retired and left the state. I literally cried (not a crier). So the search began. After three or four other Bowen Therapists were tried, I found APRIL SUNSHINE . Anytime I do damage to my body muscles, nerves, even inflammation I don't even bother calling my doctor, April is my first and last call needed. Three visits is the max I've ever needed and much more cost effective than ineffective chiro. SO WORTH IT. Thank you for helping my body to align the way God intended!

A year ago, I was fortunate to participate in a learning opportunity for a clinician. I was provided treatment with procedures of which I was previously unfamiliar. The results I received from that were amazing. It boost did not only my confidence, also my morale. The comments and compliments I received solidified that this is something I will continue to do. Tina F at Skin Spirit is an amazing and confident practitioner. She heard my concerns. She reviewed my options with me, she made suggestions and we came up with a game plan.
