I caught up with this truck when they were at Potent Potables in Jamestown. I saw others eating the food, and it looked and smelled great. So before leaving, I decided to place an order for the boneless wings with a honey bbq sauce. It also came with fries, and he offered me a homemade hot ranch sauce, that was fantastic. The food took about 15 minutes, and I was on my way, with a container busting at the seams. They did not skimp, the the 10 pieces of boneless chicken were very large. Between the chicken and the fries, my wife and I were both able to get a dinner from this order. Based on that, I'll say the pricing was very fair compared to the portions! Great truck, and can't wait to try some of their other flavors next time I see them!

Amazing beer inside the brewery and this eclectic, flavor-packed menu just steps away. Every dish we tried was outstanding. The chimichurri steak frites, tuna poke nachos, and onion rings were all bursting with fresh, creative flavors. It's rare to say that one dish after another keeps topping the last, but that's exactly what happened here. The owner clearly knows his craft and it shows in every bite. As of this review, they're temporarily closed until approximately November 1, 2025, but I cannot wait for them to reopen. When they do, this will absolutely be a go to spot for food that matches the energy and fun of Hidden Gate Brewing.

It's a food truck that's in partnership with the Hidden Gate Brewing. My order was placed at 4:16pm for honey garlic wings with truffle fries. I was given a buzzer to alert me when my food was ready. The buzzer went off at 4:25pm. I was given a side of the honey garlic sauce since I didn't get ranch or blue cheese. I also asked for cheese on top of my fries. Staff were helpful and great! I sat at a table to enjoy my food. The wings were perfectly cooked and I I enjoyed the fries. I even dipped them in the honey garlic sauce. For me, the sauce was more honey than garlic, which I didn't like. I would've preferred the opposite, if a balance between the two wasn't achievable. 9 piece wings and fries for under $14? That's a steal! I highly recommend them. I plan to return and I'd like to try a different wing flavor and/or another menu items. Several menu items piqued my interest. Apparently, this place is a favorite with some of my friends as well! As I'm doing this review, I'm wanting dessert. I definitely want to try the beignets.

The owners are kindly California transplants, hence the truck's name, and the food is unlike much of what you can get around here. While the menu features flatbreads and quesadillas/burritos/tacos, you can also find fried artichoke hearts and cucumber borscht. The artichoke hearts are reliably tasty and make for a healthier and tangier alternative to many other fried apps. The Bussin (loaded spicy shrimp tacos) is a recurring favorite as well. During a recent visit, however, my wife and I decided to change things up a bit and went with a steak quesadilla and a steak and cheese wrap, respectively. Both boasted tender asada. While the former came with a delicious homemade salsa, the latter made for a refreshingly crisp bite thanks to the purple cabbage and avocado. Were it merely a taco truck, West Coast Wanderer would face stiff competition around these parts. However, the combination of unique offerings, fast and friendly service, and consistently good execution allows it to retain a loyal following.

The owner and staff are kind and friendly. Placed my order, paid and got a buzzer, buzzer went off, got my food and a thank you at the window - easy enough. Soft tacos with shredded pork, three nice sized flour tacos with very tender pork, purple cabbage, avocado, cheddar, cilantro and sour cream with red salsa and lime on the side. Great flavor and very good ingredients, makes for excellent tacos. Sat at the nearby walking distance park and enjoyed my tacos with a view. 4.5 Stars rounded up for the kind owner and staff 01147

First off, this isn't just a random food truck. There is such an incredible story behind it. It's run by Gary and his best friend Alex, who have been friends since grade school back in Mexico City, Mexico!! You can feel that deep history in the way they run their business. There's a level of trust, energy, and authenticity that you don't usually see, and it trickles down to the entire team!!!Every employee I interacted with was genuinely happy, welcoming, and proud to be there (which says a lot) especially during these times. They've also set themselves up in some of the best spots around. I visited : 1) Summerfield Farms. 2) Oden Brewing Company. At both locations, you're not just grabbing food, you're getting a whole experience! Plenty of parking, plenty of seating, and an atmosphere that makes you want to stay awhile. Live music, dog friendly. The menu is simple, affordable, and done right. We got to try 4 different tacos, their queso dip, and their churros, and everything delicious! The meat was seasoned to perfection, super juicy, and full of flavor without being overcomplicated. But what really made this experience unforgettable? I got invited onto the truck to make my own churros!! let me tell you, that is not something you get to do every day. It was hands-on, fun, and honestly one of the most unique experiences I've had, collaborating with another business. By the end of it, it didn't even feel like a transaction anymore, we became friends! Taco Bros isn't just serving food, they're building up thier community. And that's something you don't come across often.

Overall the truck seemed very clean and hygienic for a food truck. The staff was incredibly friendly and organized. The food came out quickly and was piping hot. The prices are a bit high which is common for food trucks. Guac and chips was $10 and the chicken quesadilla was $14. One thing that would have been a nice touch was Jarritos. The chicken quesadilla was good but could have used a bit more seasoning. It was good sized and stuffed full of chicken, onions, peppers, and cheese. Overall we enjoyed Taco Bros and would definitely try them again at another event.

I tried a Pad Thai burger (peanut sauce + vinegar pickles + Thai basil) and was impressed by the depth of flavor. The sauce was excellent, and the pickles added a nice crunch. My wife was similarly satisfied with a black bean General Tsoo Hungry (General Tso sauce + broccoli slaw). Wait times for food prep were minimal, and the operators seemed friendly and personable. One caveat: if you've feasted on the area's other burger trucks (i.e. Porter House), Bicycle Burger's offerings will seem smaller in comparison. At $8 (or $10 with fries), the pricing isn't a point of contention, but you may not find it as filling a burger as expected. Here's hoping to seeing more of this truck at local events in the future.
