First time at Toto's. Came for a quick bite after the gym. Traditionally fried items like kwek kwek and veggie lumpia are seperated at check out and quickly refried in the kitchen. I wish their isaw, pork intestine, and pork ears had a little more flavor/marinade. I can't help but compare to Dollar Hits, who I think does a better job of marinating and basting their bbq sticks. There is only one grill and it is inside. Its not so big, so I can see how on busier nights you could be fighting for space. Also smaller indoor seating. This is one of a kind in this area so I hope it thrives nonetheless!

Sorry I forgot to take pictures of the food. I just jumped right in and ate when I got home.

Soft opening was today. I met one of the owner's, Sasha a couple of days ago and had a good conversation with him. I couldn't believe it took a year and eight months for the City of Oxnard to finally approve this place to do their soft opening today. Anyway, I promised him I would come do I did. I picked up food for to bring to my parents' house. I selected some bbq pork skewers and bbq chicken skewers. Then I had to get some vegetable lumpia, lobster rolls, fish cakes, fried shiu mai, and these quail eggs that were cooked in this batter on skewers. Everything I selected was delicious! So good I went back on my way home to pick up more for my dinner. I even met Sasha's wife running the register. Very nice lady. They also had karaoke going on! It was packed. I will be a regular here.

I had just left the post office when I seen this little spot, I had my dog with me, so I was hoping they would let me bring him inside, they did I was so excited. I grabbed one of everything ! not bad two dollars each kebab. I heated them on the grill , and they fry the rest on the fryer. They gave me three sauces. One of them was my favorite, which was a sweet one. Everything had so much flavor so delicious. The pork was my favorite. The roll was another one of my favorites. It's a must try. I will certainly definitely be back. So yummy and so friendly !! Happy to see the welcoming of my puppy and myself !!! Thank you for the delicious lunch !!!!

Pay station, $2 per stick, friendly owner!

2nd round going to Toto's Grill and happy the owner Alice reminded me I forgot my melon juice from my first visit! Super friendly and this time I was more selective. I saw someone else get 4 Halo Halo, looks so good! Happy to have another place besides Seafood City and Island Pacific to get our dessert!

Toto's Grill is a must try restaurant! Extremely excellent service! My husband & I are wheelchair users. They were very helpful with anything we needed, from reaching difficult hard to reach items, to grilling a handful of our choices. The cuisine is scrumptious and truly reasonably affordable! There's a fun, relaxing ambiance. Great for families! The dining room is large enough & perfect for parties!

    Beautifully clean and closed restaurant

Super happy that we have a seafood city in the 805. I have been on the late train of checking this…read morespot out but finally made it in today for a grocery run. I'd been doing Instacart orders from them but first time physically inside this weekend to check them out. The inside was super super clean. Major points there! In the time I was shopping around they had plenty of staff working, floors being mopped and all of the aisles were well organized and pretty. This market is a pretty standard Asian goods focused grocery store. I found about 85% of what I wanted here. I wish they had a premium sushi section and some more Hawaiian imported goods (aside from juices and sauces) but otherwise I was able to find everything I was looking for. Their hot bar is also solid. A wide selection of items to pick and I felt the pricing was reasonable. Actually throughout the whole store the prices are good compared to other grocery stores right now. I had a full bag of items for $50, good luck elsewhere getting those kinds of prices. I didn't have too much of an interaction with the staff while there, but again, lots of people working and keeping this spot in tip top shape. Also the woman working the register who checked me out was very nice. A great supermarket and I'll definitely be back more often now since checking them out.

My friend and I arrived at 8pm, checked into the event with a free ticket she downloaded from another app (I unfortunately for got the name of the app). It was pretty busy already with folks enjoying the DJ's tunes, filipino food and overall vibes. I bought the traditional Halo halo dessert (see my pic) and it was decent. Through out the night there was free gifts, contests and lots of dancing. Overall fun family event to enjoy. Seafood City is located in a strip mall. Lots of free parking. I occasionally shop here for speciality asian items that I couldn't find at Island Pacific. Prices are a bit steeper here. Service is decent here, for both the food court and supermarket.

The reason for 4 stars is mainly the pricing and customer service. Customer service is hit and miss sometimes but most of the time good and friendly. We have had some moments where they seemed to not want to be bothered but that is ok. The main thing for me is I have noticed some newer competitors in the county are priced a bit lower and this place tends to be more expensive. Interestingly enough some of those places I would rate slightly higher were actually less expessive. With that being said, It is still a good solid spot worth trying if you are in the area!

I thought maybe the oil was old or burnt, but stupidly brushed it off that I was imagining things. Well, I ended up paying for it in the bathroom later. I didn't eat anything else except this chicken katzu (and water) for about 10 hours before I got sick, so it likely could only have been from this dish. I looked up why deep fried food would have a strong carbon taste, and it turns out it's from old, overly reused, or burnt cooking oil.
