It's been awhile since I went tanning. I used to do it before I took my yearly trip to the…read moreCaribbean ... I decided to try Electric Beach Tanning in Greenbrook.located on the westbound side of Rt. 22 west in the Greenbrook Shopping Plaza.......( the sign just says tanning) This specific Electric Beach Tanning Salon came highly recommended. ( THERE ARE SEVERAL OTHER ELECTRIC BEACH TANNING SALONS IN THE AREA, BUT THIS BY FAR IS THE BEST ONE...) From the minute I walked in I noticed how clean and immaculate this tanning salon is....... I spoke to a receptionist named Melissa at the front desk when I checked in. Melissa was very friendly and answered all my questions... She made recommendations as to what level bed to use and approx for how long to tan. I filled out the required paperwork and questioner It helps to determine the right bed and time to tan so you don't get burned...( IF YOU ARE A MINOR YOU MUST HAVE AN ADULT COME IN AND SIGN THE WAIVER.) I did this for my daughter.....then she was given goggles to protect her eyes. Again, I was impressed how Melissa really cleaned and disinfected the goggles... The first thing you do is sign in with your registered fingerprint...... To the left of the checkin counter is a waiting area with couches, chairs and a flat screen so you or your friends can relax especially if their busy...... ( I recommend using one of the many tanning lotions that Electric Beach Tanning sells....reg suntan lotions and oils will not do.) I like that EBT is very strict with upholding and following all the legal rules...This is one, if not the best tanning place I've ever been to. Tanning beds have come a long way in 20 years...They are safer and much more efficient. I walked down a long hall. Each room had a clean tanning bed in it. Each of the beds is a different level to help accommodate all the different skin types and different levels of color, fair to medium dark skinned .. I also noticed there are two stand up tanning machines.. They start at level 3. There are fliers posted notifying people if they are on medication to check the list because some meds are sun sensitive. There is even a notice if a young teen comes in .. My daughter was recommended level 3 for 7 minutes.. I bought the proper lotion and in 7 minutes she was done... It is very easy. I decided to purchase a package . It much more cost effective... ETB sells monthly memberships, and if your register your phone number in the FREE TEXT CLUB you will get a upgrade, or a free lotion packet..... In the very back there is an area to freshen up after tanning.... ETB is open everyday and is open late for people who want to come in and tan after work... There is plenty of free parking..... The owner Steve is doing everything right and I applaud him for keeping his salon at such high standards.....

I had my first spray tan here yesterday by Annette. I have done Mystic Tan and Versa Spa and was…read moresatisfied with the results, but hoped that a personalized airbrush tan would look more natural and flawless. I booked an appt. online for Olive after reading Yelp. When I arrived, Annette was bubbly and friendly and filled me in on the process, as well as asked me some questions about my desired tan. The space is very relaxing and private, so I felt totally comfortable. We decided on a medium tan. We then went into a smaller room where I changed into my underwear (you can wear nothing, if desired). She sprayed me in a few different positions and dried me with a hairdryer. She also used a brush and powder to prepare areas that tend to sweat. It cost $48 and went quickly. It has been 19 hours since my spray (tan takes 6-8 to develop, 24 for max results) and I love the color. My legs, stomach, arms and back look beautifully bronzed -- not orange. Great news: none of the tan came off on my white sheets! The only thing I'm dissatisfied with is my wrists/sides of my hands -- for some reason they are darker brown and splotchy. I also wish I asked for my face to be sprayed an extra time or two. Right now, it is much lighter than my body even though I haven't washed either. I prefer my face to be very tan because then I can skimp on my makeup! However, with a bit of bronzer, I'm sure it'll match up. Overall, it was a fun and luxurious experience. I love my tan and now know what to ask for next time I go. I would definitely go back.

I cannot say enough good things about my experience at Olive with Brigette!…read more Having never had a spray tan before, Brigette walked me through each step of her process while also chatting with me to make me as comfortable as possible. Any nervousness I had was immediately calmed by her friendly demeanor. Having a full body spray as my first experience was a little daunting, but Brigette created a judgement free environment that I immediately felt comfortable in. Before the session began, when I brought up my sensative skin, she listed all ingredients in the tanning solution, then later assured me that the cleansing spray and powder were both organic. I'm extremely pleased with the final result, especially after following her clear aftercare instructions to a T. A natural, light tan with a glow, as promised! Thanks a million, Brigette!

My skin case journey started with me just going to face foundrie when they opened just to get a facial and try it with their minis. The location is great, the vibe is great and their minis are a wonderful and cost effective intro to face care as well as self care! If you're short on time or just want to dip your toes in the water try the mini facials! They are targeted, effective a great price point and help you get comfortable with what your skin concerns are! From my mini I met Tara and she took me under her wing! I've had skin concerns (sensitive, dry, acne, aging) but my only advice for skin I was getting was from social media. I was doing it all DIY and meeting someone as intelligent as Tara who works with skin, has great experience and knows her products showed me that sometimes we can't just DIY everything! Sometimes we need to rely on professionals to look and feel our best (plus now I can cross off skin management from my list bc it is in Tara's hands now)! I am now a royal Treatment member and I highly recommend the monthly measurements to get the most bang for your buck! Let's talk the experience: As soon as you walk in you are always greeted with water, a smile and the place smells sooooo soothing and clean! It's a spa and you feel like that. Your esti comes over to you asks you about your skin care routine, your lifestyle what products you use, your concerns, etc so they can familiarize themselves with your where you are, your needs and a prognosis! Then the facials begin. You lay down and are tucked into the most comfortable bed with a weighted blanket and sheet and get ready to be treated like a king or queen! The treatments are so effective. I always leave glowing and I have noticed a noticeable difference in my skin texture, especially my fine lines (thanks to my routine Tara made for me)! I feel like my skin looks the best it has ever looked! Aging backwards! I always end my treatment with a scalp massage and it is heaven. I never want to leave! Checkout is super easy and their products are to die for!!! I cannot wait for their Black Friday sale! I also recommend this for a girls day, a birthday party, bridal shower, bachelorette or bachelor party etc!. Last Christmas I treated my girlfriends to a facial party and got us all a little mini facial treatment with mimosas after brunch!
