I didn't feel appreciated as a customer, and the staff appeared hurried and uninterested. The entire encounter was uncomfortable because the equipment appeared to be antiquated and poorly maintained. Furthermore, the service was clumsy and unclear, with no genuine direction or explanations--just a "next" mentality. I had much higher expectations for the pricing. In general, it seemed like they are more concerned with getting individuals through than with offering high-quality service. Numerous other tanning salons exist that are nicer, cleaner, and really concerned about results. I will not be returning.

I have tried at home self-tanners which always leave me streaky and other spray tans (Mystic Beach) which make me look like I rolled around in Cheetos. I have gotten 6 or 7 tans in the last couple years, usually before a vacation. I never thought a tan could look so good and natural on me! After my tan, I look just as dark and even as my friends who visit tanning booths. Nicole, the owner, is very professional and welcoming, plus her own tan always looks impeccable. The actual experience is quick and painless, but remember to wear underwear that won't leave a weird tan line (I learned the hard way after my first appointment!) They also sell apparel, accessories and skin care products that compliment the tan. The items are on the pricey side but are great quality. I'm addicted to the Sun Bum sunblock, it smells so good! I also use the tan-extending lotion and I believe it does work. My only complaint is that I wish the tan lasted longer. Nikki Tans says it will last up to two weeks but I find it's more like 5 days depending on how much you swim and exercise. I always get my tan before a vacation and I start out tanner than my friends and return home paler whereas everyone else got darker! The tan fades pretty evenly, especially if you use the lotion twice a day, but I'm always left with a kind of awkward looking patchy appearance on my chest in the final days of the tan. Nothing a little exfoliating won't fix ;) If I could afford it, I would get spray tanned all year long!

Sometimes, I take my kids to bubble tea next door and he'll come out and say "hi" or wave...everyone here is great. The beds are well maintained and they have a really good variety of types to chose from. Sometimes I feel like relaxing and do the 20 min bed, and other days I'm in a rush and use the fast ones. They have a stand up one that is my favorite, it just feels more natural to me to stand. I've done a good amount of research, looking at actual peer reviewed data on which one is healthier and it seems shorter more frequent exposure is better, this makes sense as it allows your melanocytes (the cells that respond to UV) time to make melanin. I used to get pretty depressed in the winter. My hormones were fine, my vit-d was good, everything was "normal" according to my doctor. Then, one day while working out I heard a guy talking about why he tans. Long story short I decided to try it. What a difference it makes, I pretty much tell anyone who will listen. But, just like anything else you want to use the minimum effective dose. So go easy, especially on your first few sessions.

BEWARE!…read more I had come here a couple of years ago and I had requested for the services to be cancelled and they never did and they were charging my credit card. This was before the business was another name. I had to call my credit company and tel them that I did not authorize the charges until a certain date. I went back recently thinking since the name had changed and maybe it was under management and obviously it was the same issue but even worse. I had purchased a Groupon a month ago and went in to use it. Now when I got there the girl asked me for my credit card and I asked her why and her response was that she just needed one on file which I didn't understand and it was my fault to give it to her but come on now! I didn't sign anything and she didn't even explain anything at and it wasn't like it was busy there for her to take the time to explain anything to me. Recently I checked my bank statement and I saw they had charged me $22.86. When I called I spoke to a girl Laura and she stated that I should have signed a form and that the girl who attended me should have explained packages and why the card was taken. OBVIOUSLY NOT! the girl said that she was going to cancel my membership and that she was sorry about the incident. I asked her for the information of the owner and she gave me a FAKE EMAIL ADDRESS! I had to report this to the BBB because they took my credit card and charged my account without my consent!
