I know Tanning is not healthy so I don't recommend folks go tanning regularly, but for a special event like your wedding, that felt like an appropriate exception to the rule to me. I've gotten spray tans before, but my skin doesn't typically keep a spray tan well and with the sleeves on my wedding dress, fake tanning seemed like the better option! I LOVED how my tan looked so natural after utilizing tanning services at Sunbelievable for my December 2023 wedding. I would absolutely recommend them as a tanning salon of choice for any NJ Brides! This review is for the Somerville location- I have only gotten spray tans here. I've gotten a spray tan from their artist, and also from their spray booth. Both of them are great and I left with amazing results. Not orange AT ALL and instant natural looking tan. Prices are reasonable and staff is extremely nice and helpful. Great beds, pricing is a little high but good customer service makes it worth it. Employees are all very knowledgeable about their packages. It's annoying having to make an appointment because sometimes I don't know the exact time I'll be able to get there but they are always good at getting you in last minute so I can't really complain! I was looking transparent so I decided to get a little color. The staff is incredibly friendly, informative, helpful, etc. The units are clean and of high quality. The rooms have ample room, towels, baby wipes, chair, full length mirror, and spotless. Great hours and you can always make an appointment if you think you'll hit a busier time of day. Pricing is a little high but the quality is amazing and they do have some great specials (see attached photos). read more

I don't usually write reviews unless they're positive. But this place is terrible. I purchased a tanning package just a few months ago and only used one (1) of the tans. Went there today but was turned away because I was told all the remaining tans in the package I purchased had "expired"!!!! Which btw I was assured would not be the case when I originally purchased. Never ever heard of a tanning service doing that, on top of in middle of Covid period during which people are, naturally, a bit more hesitant / less likely to visit tanning salons and as frequently!!!!! read more

My favorite local tanning salon - The staff is friendly and educated on their various tanning beds so that they can confidently make a safe recommendation for you based on your tanning experience and skin type. The beds and rooms are always clean and they do their best to keep the temperature low in the building during the summer! I always leave happy with my experience and with my tan. read more

I have been going to this Tanning Salon for about 8 Years. The place is super clean, prices are compatible with others in the area. They have 1/2 price on Sundays which is a plus. The staff is very knowledgeable and will take the time to explain the different lotions and beds to you. They also have great deals every month. read more

This incident transpired at owner's Staten Island location.. Several weeks ago I went to Sunbelieveable on a Monday night about 10 pm. Parking lot was very desolate, young girl in salon, alone, I had an uneasy feeling being inside. I spoke with the young lady about locking the door and was told, the owner won't let us and he watches us on the cameras. She told me her Dad felt the same way about her being in there at night alone..Not the first time one of the girls had mentioned him watching on the cameras, not being allowed to lock the door. When I went in today, man was in the office, with the manager who I know very well and have never ever had an issue with, I said, are you the owner, he said "today I'm not" I proceeded to tell him about my experience and conversation with the young lady on that Monday night and expressed my concern for safety reasons and why can't the door be locked at night. He told me he's a business, he's not locking the door girls don't know everyone, what if it's someone who has not been there in a year, he became very aggressive and extremely confrontational..Not going to lie, I called him a jerk, which I felt he was being and I than told him, now I understand why his employees speak so poorly of him and I left...Please see the following emails that I have since received from the business owner, along with my replies..Referencing my age, other businesses I've patronized, extremely extremely unprofessional.. If you owned a business and there were no customers waiting would you tell them to leave? Of course not. When you go shopping for food do you make an appointment? I follow all proper guidelines 100%. Did you notice the sanitizer dispensers in each room on the wall? Not required but I did that to make my clients see I care for their cleanliness. At the end of the day my door nor any other businesses door is being locked. Its going to be opened anyway. So every person that comes to my salon you want us to go to the door and do what? Ask why they are there? Ask for ID? Talk unprofessionally through the door? This would make customers think there is a safety problem. When should the doors be locked at sundown? People only get robbed when its dark? I even have 2 cameras outside. With this logic I guess you dont go to any business after dark and feel safe. My sister and I got spray tans and it was our first experience with spray tans. Brittany was amazing!! she made us feel so comfortable and made us look beautiful!! the entire process was super enjoyable and she was so sweet the whole time. I never had a spray tan before I went there last night. Rachael told me exactly what I had to do to prepare my skin before the spray tan. She was great and my skin looks awesome! Always a good experience. The place is clean the associates are knowledgeable and friendly.

Gets the job done. Service is fine and everyone is pleasant. Prices are standard for tanning salons. The beds are seemingly pretty good and they have a large variety. This is not a "high-end" luxury tanning salon but who needs that? If you need some color and want to be in and out and are nearby this is your spot. Awesome tanning salon.. staff is knowledgeable in beds and lotions. the bulbs in the bed are always new and strong. The lotion selection is great and the staff knows what's best for your skin type. beds and rooms are always clean and cleaned thoroughly between uses. The entire establishment is extremely clean. Staff works to get you in your bed of choice as quickly as possible. They even let you keep your lotion there for convenience. Definitely recommend this tanning salon! read more

K folks stay away from this salon!! Yikes not very stylish and lots of teenagers in and out!! Went there to consider a package only to be told no beds available so could i come back the nest day okay, so i go back the next day during my lunch now a different girl at the counter says oh to try the bed you have to buy a lotion packet, k i have my own very expensive lotion nope gotta buy one from us to try the bed!!
