When I inquired as to the cost, Charles said he would call me with a total before charging my card. He called me a day later and said he would run my card for $496.00. I gave permission for this amount. A few days later, I received the part. On my bank statement I saw he ran the card for $664.20. I called Charles and he said he would look in to the matter and get back to me; he did not. I called AER and spoke to Tommy, (the manager). He said he would look in to the matter and get back to me, he did not. After multiple attempts and messages to reach Tommy; we spoke on 5-7-21. He gave me the 'run around'. Bottom line: Do not give AER your card for payment, they WILL rip you off. Pay cash or write a check if you must to business with them.

I called Jewell to discuss this and how I might get it fixed. Alex told me to hold tight and they would resolve the issue. He sent Doug back out to pick up the machine and they took it back to the shop, repaired the throttle lever and checked out the unit again under 'load condition'. Doug then returned the unit to my home and came with me while I personally checked it out in my garden to ensure I was happy with the tiller. All of this in less than a day. I really appreciate both Alex and Doug at Jewell Equipment in Wasilla. They truly stand behind what they sell!
