A beautifully performing orchestra!…read more Dr. Howard Skinner conducted the music at my first visit to UCCC to hear the Greeley Philharmonic Orchestra. I had heard the same music before, many times, as it was one of my favorite compositions of all time. When I heard this music again, this time under the baton of Dr. Skinner, with the orchestra members performing more wonderfully than I could ever have imagined, I was enraptured. I purchased season tickets year after year and loved every performance. Dr. Skinner favored the classic composers - Bach, Beethoven, Mozart, Wagner, and so on - at least that is what is clearest in my memory. What I heard from orchestra members was that Dr. Skinner had turned the orchestra from a fairly good one to an excellent one, and from an organization that had a little support to one that had tremendous support. I became one of those supporters, socially and organizationally as well as financially. Things change. With the retiring of Dr. Skinner from the orchestra came organizational, selection, and performance changes. There is much music in the world, and every genre (check Grove's or, if laz,y wikipedia, for examples of some of the countless genres) has its multitude of fans. So I know that Greeley is as happy with its orchestra today as it was with its orchestra of yesterday. With great respect for the excellence of both conductor and orchestra, I embolden myself to say that the choices of which compositions to perform leaves me wanting. We do not often travel for concerts or other musical performances. When we do, the classics remain my favorite. I avoid moderns even though there are some whom I find quite enjoyable. I likewise avoid performances that seem to be self-promotions or resume-packing. I truly love the Greeley Philharmonic for the joy it has given me, my family, and our friends. The auditorium is lovely albeit small. The stage is adequate, albeit small. The cost of admission for me is almost inconsequential, but more objectively I suppose it is "moderate". The quality of performance is high. The staff consist of both paid and volunteer workers, and I have found each and every one of them to be cheerful, welcome, and helpful when needed. The most difficult part of the performances is to listen to the sponsors give little speeches, and to realize that in some cases, a business or hospital which says it is "doing everything we can to keep costs low" is contributing thousands of dollars as their sponsorship - which means they are doing something they don't have to do, which will raise the cost of their services. Can't they see the incongruity of their words and their actions? I look forward to some future season in which all eyes and ears are on the illustrious, proven standard-bearers of western composition, whoever they are.

Colorado Eclipse empowers and helps build the confidence of my little. We started off at 14months in a mommy/daddy and me class where she learned to jump and tumble, at age 2 we progressed to creative movement where pointy toes and form are important, and now our little at 3 years old is on a cheer team; TEAM, learning to be with others, listens and follows instructions, picking up on timing, and learning cartwheels. All of these skills overwhelm my heart, so much growth in such a short amount of time. It's exciting! Thank you, CEA!

I found this company from them posting in a local buy and sell group. Right off the bat Demi was extremely welcoming and willing to answer any questions I had. My daughter has never done any sport or activity before. Shes was never even in daycare before this so I was unsure how she would handle it. Demi offered trial classes for free!! My daughter loved it right away! the staff was always so nice and interacted with each and every child throughout the whole class. She did ballet and tap and we also included tiny cheer and tumble class. Once a year they have a company showcase and my daughter got to perform for the first time on stage in front of an audience and she absolutely loved it!! She could not wait to get back on stage! Then July 2017 cheer season one - we decided to put her on the performance team where she would be able to have more performances. That team was for 3-5 year old I believe and was $100 a month. She had such a blast! she had her own little team of cheer sisters and brothers and felt like a real cheerleader! she got an adorable uniform and got to go to 2 competitions and they got 1st place both times!!! That whole season was nothing but positive! It was affordable, an amazing friendly coach, great parents and team mates. That experience made me become a lifer. This team was a beginner level this is where my daughter learned to do a cartwheel and forward rolls. July 2018 cheer season two - my daughter did tryouts and made the ELITE team!! She grew so much over just one season that she bypassed one of the stepping stones of a prep team and went right to ELITE! she went from just cartwheels and forward rolls only in May 2018 to having front and backwalkovers, all 3 splits, one handed cartwheels, chest stands, bow and arrow and scorpion plus more by Nov!!! Now she is working on back handsprings at 6 years old . I am so very proud of her and theres no way she would be where she is if it wasnt for her coaches. I see people complaining about pricing... and it seems as though they are all geared towards the Elite team. Yes, it is $300 a month. Yes, the uniform was close to $600. Yes, there is a 2 year contract. BUT ...... WE KNEW ABOUT ALL OF THESE THINGS BEFORE AGREEING!!! They do not hide anything! They send out a survey that asks what team is best for your family, they have multiple teams to fit everyones needs and wants. The Elite team IS NOT FOR EVERYONE it is a huge commitment! It is not a team to join just to try out cheer.... it is the team to join when you are dedicated, determined and want nothing but to win! If your child isn't competitive and wants a more laid back team they have that! We are told SOOOOOO many times what elite consists of as far as travel, competitions and cost up front. The Elite team is the role model for the other teams. It is the team with the super flashy uniforms and in it to win it. Every athelete on the team is at the gym at least 4 to 7 days a week sometimes until 830 at night. Working their butts off after school and they all show up and push themselves cause they want it. Coaches right there next to them helping them knock down those mental blocks. This gym has everything you need, great staff, owner, dance classes, tumble, cheer classes, cheer teams of different levels and costs, amazing positive atheletes and parents. Give them a shot... try a class for free .... people are always so quick to post a negative review then a positive.

It's never overly crowded, which honestly makes the whole experience so much better. You can actually relax, enjoy the movie, and not feel like you're packed into a sardine can. One thing I really appreciate is how clean everything is. The theaters are well-kept, and even in the bathrooms are consistently clean, which says a lot. Now, let's talk snacks... because whew. $5 for a small slushy had me rethinking my life choices for a second. Prices are definitely on the higher side, but that's pretty standard for movie theaters. That said, the matinee ticket prices are amazing, so it balances out. Plus, the seats? Super comfortable and they recline, which makes it dangerously easy to melt into the movie and forget the outside world exists. They also serve beer, margaritas, and wine, which makes this a really fun date night spot, even if it's just with yourself. And here's a little insider tip: you can order a whole pizza. It might take a bit to come out, but trust me, watching a movie with an entire pizza and wind in hand is an elite experience. Overall, it's a simple, easy-going theater that does exactly what it needs to do-- and it does it well. definitely worth it.
