Colorado Eclipse is phenomenal! The staff truly has a heart for their athletes. I appreciate that…read morethey recognize each athletes' strengths and weakness, nurturing and growing their strengths while improving and building up their weakness. Colorado Eclipse empowers and helps build the confidence of my little. We started off at 14months in a mommy/daddy and me class where she learned to jump and tumble, at age 2 we progressed to creative movement where pointy toes and form are important, and now our little at 3 years old is on a cheer team; TEAM, learning to be with others, listens and follows instructions, picking up on timing, and learning cartwheels. All of these skills overwhelm my heart, so much growth in such a short amount of time. It's exciting! Thank you, CEA!

I found this company from them posting in a local buy and sell group. Right off the bat Demi was extremely welcoming and willing to answer any questions I had. My daughter has never done any sport or activity before. Shes was never even in daycare before this so I was unsure how she would handle it. Demi offered trial classes for free!! My daughter loved it right away! the staff was always so nice and interacted with each and every child throughout the whole class. She did ballet and tap and we also included tiny cheer and tumble class. Once a year they have a company showcase and my daughter got to perform for the first time on stage in front of an audience and she absolutely loved it!! She could not wait to get back on stage! Then July 2017 cheer season one - we decided to put her on the performance team where she would be able to have more performances. That team was for 3-5 year old I believe and was $100 a month. She had such a blast! she had her own little team of cheer sisters and brothers and felt like a real cheerleader! she got an adorable uniform and got to go to 2 competitions and they got 1st place both times!!! That whole season was nothing but positive! It was affordable, an amazing friendly coach, great parents and team mates. That experience made me become a lifer. This team was a beginner level this is where my daughter learned to do a cartwheel and forward rolls. July 2018 cheer season two - my daughter did tryouts and made the ELITE team!! She grew so much over just one season that she bypassed one of the stepping stones of a prep team and went right to ELITE! she went from just cartwheels and forward rolls only in May 2018 to having front and backwalkovers, all 3 splits, one handed cartwheels, chest stands, bow and arrow and scorpion plus more by Nov!!! Now she is working on back handsprings at 6 years old . I am so very proud of her and theres no way she would be where she is if it wasnt for her coaches. I see people complaining about pricing... and it seems as though they are all geared towards the Elite team. Yes, it is $300 a month. Yes, the uniform was close to $600. Yes, there is a 2 year contract. BUT ...... WE KNEW ABOUT ALL OF THESE THINGS BEFORE AGREEING!!! They do not hide anything! They send out a survey that asks what team is best for your family, they have multiple teams to fit everyones needs and wants. The Elite team IS NOT FOR EVERYONE it is a huge commitment! It is not a team to join just to try out cheer.... it is the team to join when you are dedicated, determined and want nothing but to win! If your child isn't competitive and wants a more laid back team they have that! We are told SOOOOOO many times what elite consists of as far as travel, competitions and cost up front. The Elite team is the role model for the other teams. It is the team with the super flashy uniforms and in it to win it. Every athelete on the team is at the gym at least 4 to 7 days a week sometimes until 830 at night. Working their butts off after school and they all show up and push themselves cause they want it. Coaches right there next to them helping them knock down those mental blocks. This gym has everything you need, great staff, owner, dance classes, tumble, cheer classes, cheer teams of different levels and costs, amazing positive atheletes and parents. Give them a shot... try a class for free .... people are always so quick to post a negative review then a positive.

As a parent, we want our kids to be in a place where they can not only grow in their skills and have healthy safe relationships, but to also be safe and be treated with respect and dignity by their instructor. Having their hearts broken by an adult who was supposed to care for them was just devastating. Others have left this studio for similar reasons. It is my advice, based on our personal experience, that families might want to look elsewhere for a studio with a healthy and warm environment. There are many in the front range area! In response to owner's comments. Yes, it was very sad that my family and others had to leave after such a long time of hard work, loyalty and care for you and your studio. How sad that when families came to you for help and assistance, you chose to turn your back on us, and on the issues we brought to you in good faith. I realize it is good business to respond to reviews like the one I left, but it's such a shame you did not want to deal with the severe issues we brought to you while we were all still there and asking for your help and support. As for the mental health experts you mentioned, this was not what you said to us when we were asking for your help. We did not leave solely because of the draconian policies you introduced, but because of the dismissive and cruel way you treated our family, and the others who chose to leave. We loved you and cared for you in so many ways for years, and when we asked for your help suddenly the love was all gone and you chose instead, to dismiss us and our very serious concerns. I hope you do well in the future personally, but I also hope that other families will read this and approach with caution. Too many young broken hearts at frcba. The problem you had, is still there. The rest of us just chose not to subject our teens to the bullying and negative attitude any longer. It became clear that not only was the emotional and psychological welfare of all dancers not a concern for you, but their physical safety was also not of concern when another parent could use their vehicle to threaten us and risk injuring minors and other parents and you refused to handle the situation in any kind of meaningful way. While everything written here is simply our opinion, based on our experiences, I would want any parent considering bringing their child/ teen to frcba to think twice. As the parents, we chose to stop pouring our energies and finances into a studio where it is clear that not everyone is treated equally or with fairness or justice and perhaps mostly, in our opinion, where it simply isn't safe or healthy.

There was a skimpy portion of thin and fatty odds and ends of ham, some coagulated super garlicky mashed potatoes with no butter or gravy, and steamed green beans which were flavorless and completely unadorned. The seating was incredibly cramped, and I did not enjoy sharing a table with complete strangers. There was an air conditioning vent blowing directly down onto me, and the wall behind me was filthy with dust bunnies and lint. By the end of the show several people in my general vicinity started displaying signs of irritability due to the tight quarters. The show I saw was A Christmas Story, and while the classic movie translated to the stage better than I thought it would, I felt there were a few elements that should have been excluded - such as the racism in the Chinese restaurant scene, the sexism in just about every scene with women in it, the portrayal of smoking, and the overacting (even for a community theater production where part of the appeal is the campiness) that I honestly don't remember being present in previous shows I have been to. One last thing - if you are going to do a show that features a firearm (even an unloaded BB gun) for f*ck's sake please educate your actors on proper handling. The barrel of anything (even an unloaded BB gun) pointed in my direction is gut twistingly uncomfortable.

The mashed sweet potatoes are heavenly! The dessert was okay; store-bought raspberry cheesecake. The show was pretty good too. There were some missteps in some of the dance numbers (near drop, near fall into orchestra pit), and a couple of wardrobe malfunctions (ripped pants, ripped hemline), but otherwise the show was very enjoyable. Now the question is: are these servers who act, or actors who serve? Because they do both very well!
