The staff took the time to explain to me what the problem was and provided a very clear and detailed itemized receipt. This was our third emergency repair (over the past two years) due to my son beating the he11 out of his bike at Trestle. A quick call to them at 3pm for a shifter cable replacement and they said they'd fit me in. Doug threw the bike on the rack and swapped the cable in minutes, then he noticed a tension screw missing and dug around in the bins for one - luckily had one. I've been to this shop about five times in the last month. They have done an excellent job waxing and tuning my skis. They are super friendly and have shared excellent information about local skiing opportunities. Although they don't sell many skis, we found an excellent deal on a lightly used pair of skis there. My son slammed his rim during race practice this afternoon -- it was pretty rough with about a six inch flat spot and loose spokes all over. We rolled in at 3:00 with the race starting at 4:00... I was thinking we'd get it trued for tomorrow's race, but Brett said, "Tomorrow? Let's shoot for today." Sure enough we were on the road in 30 minutes and he made his start time. We had a bike incident. My bike partially fell off the bike carrier, and was dragged on the interstate for long enough to grind off over an inch of the handle bars. The Totally Wired staff were wonderful. They replaced the handle bars, fixed the brakes, offered to use used parts if we wanted, and addressed any safety issues. They were knowledgeable, competent and timely--all at a reasonable price. I couldn't recommend them more highly. read more

Crazy expensive and okay service. They get it done but not sure if the quality is reliable. Had a dropper post lever installed here and bolt fell out about 1 mile on the down hill of winsor trail in NM after climbing 5K' of vertical, second ride after having it installed. Shop in NM charged me $20 to replace the bolt. Shop local but let the local shops charge you up the wazoo! I'm gonna drive 15 miles down the road the next time I need something for sure!!! read more

He was more than helpful and knowledgable with my needs, and helped me fix my problem quickly. These guys are incredible! Hit a deer on I-70 driving out to Trestle from Missouri. The deer destroyed my rear wheel and almost ended my trip. Tried to buy/rent a wheel from the stores at the bottom of Trestle but they would only sell me a 3 year old set of wheels at full retail price! (26" Azonics, really??!!). I laughed at them, and then headed to Totally Wired, where I at least knew that LBS guys would have some common sense. Brett (name?) found an old beat up rear wheel, spot trued it, and sold it to me for an absolutely fair price. This shop knows bikes and bike riders, that is very apparent. I had a great experience at Totally Wired. My girlfriend and I were headed up to Grand Lake for Memorial Day weekend with our road bikes to train for Ride the Rockies. My girlfriend forgot her road shoes, so we were in a desperate position. We searched all around Winter Park without any luck finding road shoes or anyone able to brainstorm a solution. Totally Wired worked with us and hooked her up with some mountain bike shoes, pedals, and cleats. So for $50, we were able to enjoy the weekend and get some great miles in. I have been to this place twice , both times I interacted with the same bike mechanic . The first time all I needed was to tighten a bolt ( a size of wrench I did not have in my toolbox) for this I was charged 20 dollars...yes you read right , 20.00 dollars..( he bragged that he didn't charge me the tax...he didn't give me any receipt either... another biker that walked into the shop when I was there wanted his brakes bled , the price quoted was exactly twice the price everybody else charges....(simple Shimano brakes) , he walked out... My second time I arrived at the shop at 16:45 , I did not know what time the shop was closing ( was told by another 1900) and wanted to see if it was possible that the mechanic could troubleshoot the problem , right of the bat I got yelled at because my bike touched a rag hanger which did not even tip or or moved ( the only path from the door to the mechanic station ) than I was almost screamed at for arriving late....this mechanic acted as if I asked to be put ahead of other customers which I never did , he accused me for being mad just because I had my arms across my chest ... I don't know the mechanical skills of this individual but I could most definitely said he scores zero at customer service and interpersonal skills. So between the high prices and the extremely poor customer service I'd say go to any other bike shop before you do this one. read more

I love this shop! Doug is the best bike mechanic I've found in the valley over the years I've been coming up there. He has managed to fix things I thought were permanently destroyed by me on the trail and keep my bikes rolling along smoothly. Prices have been on par with or cheaper than my shop back home and Doug has always been an absolute pleasure to deal with. There's even a couch to chill out on and have a drink from next door while your bike is getting worked on (if they're not inundated with repairs)! Additionally, when I was there in July...the shop appears to be carrying more parts, gear and now has a selection of Park tools for sale. It's always been hard to find parts and tools in the valley, so this is great to see. read more
