However - billing for that same facility turned out to be a major headache…read more Received my statement indicating amount I owned after insurance pymts were deducted. The statement included a "pay online" reference. So I did, pay online in full, got a receipt which I printed out as well as my credit card statement showing their charge & my payment in full. Then - I get another statement from the Center indicating the same amount due. Finally got thru on phone & was assured my pymt would be reflected. Didn't happen. Got another statement still showing a balance due. At this point I will probably find my "owed" amount will most likely go to a collection agency. Expect dealing with them with my proof of payment will be much easier. The Surgi Center will be stuck paying the collection agency a fee. So exasperating to find a major facility so out of touch with this aspect of their operation.

Nowhere ever was I told I had no coverage instead I arrived immediately was told it would cost the double of the maximum cost I was told. Such scammers! Highly disappointed with OneMed's s customer service…read more As a new patient, I chose Dr. Patel based on a trusted recommendation. After calling and leaving a message for clarification about a medical order, I never received a return call. When I called back later that day, I was simply told I needed to schedule an appointment to speak with the doctor. The office is over 30 minutes from my home, so it's not as if I can just stop by to resolve a communication issue. Like many large practices, everything goes through a call center, making it nearly impossible to reach the office directly. Florida has no shortage of medical providers. Customer service is what separates exceptional practices from mediocre ones, and this experience has been disappointing. I'm posting this in the hope that it gets the attention of the front office. I'll update my review if the situation is resolved.
