On Saturday, October 25th at 9 a.m., my wife and I visited Vitalounge at Turkey Lake for IV therapy with Vitamin C and a few additional vitamins. Unfortunately, our experience was extremely concerning and unprofessional. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the staff lacked proper training and experience in administering IVs. I am in the healthcare industry and can confidently say that the individuals performing these procedures did not appear to meet the qualifications or follow the safety protocols required by Florida law. After paying close to $500 for two IVs, my blood pressure was recorded at 160/111, yet the staff proceeded with the IV. I specifically told the young woman not to use my left arm because it's difficult to find a vein there, but she ignored me and kept probing until she gave up. She then switched to my right arm, even though I told her I wasn't feeling well and needed to lie down. Despite my warning about using small veins for 25,000 mg of Vitamin C, she continued -- and shortly afterward, I lost consciousness. Paramedics were called, and I was transported to Dr. Phillips Hospital, where the nurse immediately noticed that the IV line placed by Vitalounge was still wide open. The nurse removed it right away, noting that leaving a line open like that could have led to a serious infection. I was hospitalized for three days. Throughout this ordeal, no one from Vitalounge ever called to check on my condition. When I reached out after being discharged to request a refund (since neither I nor my wife received the IV service), the person I spoke with refused to provide her name and declined to issue a refund. She only provided a generic email address for "corporate" and refused to identify any manager. This experience was unacceptable, unsafe, and unprofessional. I strongly urge the Florida Department of Health to inspect this facility. Patients deserve to feel safe and cared for -- not put at risk due to poor training and negligence. How can they keep the money for something they never did, or the patient or person received or obtain. To me that is called a scam or thief. read more

I came here last weekend after having too much fun at Mardi Gras at Universal. This location was only 7 minutes away from the hotel. I was able to make an appt online the same morning for the hangover and hydration therapy. It took about 2 hours since each bag lasts about 30 minutes. I walked in feeling like I was going to die and when I left I felt back to normal. I would recommend asking for a blanket bc you do get really cold with all the fluids going into you. Everyone was really nice and knowledgeable. They kept checking on me and even called the next day. I'll be back for a hydration bag! Highlyrecommend!! read more

I don't typically write reviews like this, but silence enables abuse--and I believe in protecting others from systems that dress control up as professionalism. I was employed at this clinic for a total of 8 hours across 2 days. I came as I usually do, calm, open, respectful, and ready to learn. Then a small incident happened. I was being watched closely by the owner while performing an IV insertion (which I've done for oyer 13 years as an RN), and expressed that being watched has always made me nervous. Under that pressure, the insertion didn't go as smoothly--and she immediately labeled it "horrible." I was also told, "A client would never want you touching them again." because it hurt them. ONCE SHE INSERTED ANOTHER "her way" the client yelled OUCHHH! Exposing that it was not my technique that hurt the client but her sensitivity to the needle. Despite the comment, I remained composed and explained it was nerves, and that I've often been called "angel hands" throughout my career. I attempted to explain what happen, but I was dismissed like my voice didn't matter. Her response? "That must have been luck." I was here I know what happened. You don't need to explain you need to listen! I prefer to hire completely inexperienced people so she can train them "her way"--which explained the truth behind the veil. That was the end of the conversation. No reflection. No willingness to understand. The termination was delivered by someone else, while the owner stood beside him silently smiling. She never addressed me directly. At that point, I knew what was coming. I've dealt with this type of dynamic before--where there is no room for humanity, no room for growth, only perfection and power. Still, I stood my ground with respect. But what matters more than the dismissal itself... is how it was handled. I left with dignity. But I also left with clarity: this is not a space built on emotional intelligence, leadership, or true mentorship. It's a space where control is cloaked in charm. Where smiles replace accountability. Where speaking your truth calmly is interpreted as a threat. If you're a professional with a voice, integrity, and emotional awareness--this environment will not honor you. I don't write this from anger. I write it because someone has to speak. And if you've ever been dismissed, unheard, or made to feel like you were "too much" or "not enough" for simply being conscious and wanting to be heard-- You are not the problem. ........and the truth shall set you free!!! I recommend this business but not the Turkey Lake location. 3 attempts at finding my vein and it was unsuccessful. When I left the facility, the 3 of them hid in the back. The prior visit (a bit ago) was successful but after they missed the vein & administered the IV bag after I complained that it burned. I was told I had lots of values in my veins (news to me). Now I have a credit I must use but thankfully they have more than 1 location. #Disappointed read more

My go-to spot in Orlando for my monthly-IV fix. They have plenty of add-ons and also offer lots of good specials. (I just benefitted from a 'buy 2, get 1 free' deal for extras like Detox, Health, etc.). They also offer a variety of other services. Service is friendly and attentive, from the front desk to the PAs. I love that each visit starts with a little consult/check-up before you get your IV. They have a couple of private rooms, and a small general area with 4-5 reclining chairs. They used to have blankets, but did away with those due to COVID...hopefully they do bring those back, because I always forget how cold I get during an IV! read more

We were in Orlando for a volleyball tournament, where our goal was to take first to get a bid to attend nationals. We went to a local restaurant for dinner and our 12 year old ended up with food poisoning. After a night of extreme vomiting and other stomach issues, our daughter was drained of energy and was starting to cramp. We faced a three day tournament ahead, which, without food poisoning will cause dehydration. I found VitaLounge on Yelp and immediately phoned Chelsea. She had recommendations on treatment and we set up an appointment the next morning, also the 1st day of our tournament. Because of her age, they administered the treatment slow and were very gentle and understanding of her nervousness. If we had more time, we probably would have stayed for more fluid, but we played that day. We had a winning day. Over the three days our daughter steadily became stronger and we truly believe the treatment from VitaLounge saved her dehydrated muscles. This location isn't the same anymore ! This staff needs retraining and I don't understand how their running i been loyal client for few years and I decided to stop by since I was in town . The iv was so uncomfortable and as soon they went to put the iv bag , next thing you know the iv catheter wasn't inserted correctly and next thing you know blood poor all over my clothes and hair and the lady that was attending me didn't know what to do and RAN out the room and ran for HELP & I PANICKED AS IM BLEEDING OUT OF MY CATHETER & THAT WAS FINALLY AND I TOLD THEM PULL IT THE FUCK OUT & I decided to leave . Staff and experience is great. The problem with this company is trying to cancel your memberships. I used them for about 10 mo. I liked it. But I moved and there's aren't any vitalounge where and you can't cancel a membership in person when I drive all the way there to do so and the email they give you to cancel doesn't work. I ended up getting charged an extra moth because of this. I ended up having someone message me the paperwork fill it out send a picture of it to them and get it canceled that way. I feel it's a fraudulent way to make it almost impossible to cancel the memberships that way they can keep leaching money out of your account each mo. They also wouldn't refund me the month amount even though I didn't use the stuff I was changed for. Watch out for this company. read more

Today I bought a Groupon for package of b12 shots, came in to redeem my voucher and all of sudden there's a new rule that I can't redeem another voucher from Groupon (which the last one was at least two years ago) so new policy one Groupon per person. Bought their IV drip skin repair package (4 sessions) Samantha is such an amazing nurse. I'm not seeing much of a difference yet so today I'm so excited to finish my 4th session and bought another package glutathione detox ( push) again. Hannah she's very nice too tried to start my IV, missed it and that's fine it happens. BTW I kept myself hydrated before my session. So in short between Samantha and Hannah they stuck me 4 times. The 4th time I was very confident that Hannah will get it as in the vein was there like a rope, you don't even need a tourniquet after the hot pack was applied and me continued drinking water but still missed it. Skills is very important or atleast invest a scanner so clients shouldn't have to go through this being stuck multiple times . It hurts and for sure I'll be black and blue again Wasted my 2 hrs and 25 mins.there which it should be done in less than an hour, should have been sleeping since I worked last night. I have one more session left. I might cancel the package I just bought it's so stressful it should be still stress free , nice feeling but I'm not happy. I gave Hannah few techniques in starting an iv, right angle , etc . THE GLUTA EFFECT TO WHITEN YOUR SKIN DID NOT WORK after multiple sessions so I'm not sure of the medications they use coz they don't prepare or mix it in front of you. IM VERY DISAPPOINTED.! Literally told me they can take me for an iv so I drove 30 minutes here, and then I waited 25 minutes while they signed someone up for something and then by the time they helped me they told me they can't take me in for an iv..... then, I asked about injections and the nurse said I can get them but then proceeded to tell me all different information about the injections then the receptionist told me. I don't get this places entire vibe. Stick to something you say and have better customer service. This sucks because I was looking forward to this place opening and now I won't be coming here again. I really enjoyed my experience. It was a very clean and relaxing atmosphere, very nice team who both understood so much about my conditions and deficiencies. I received the Signature Wellness Drip plus Glutathione, as well as a shot of Vitamin D in my arm muscle. I struggle with a couple autoimmune conditions. I am on day 4 after. The biggest benefits I have noticed so far are #1 my flexibility and muscle and joint pain have really been improved. My face, particularly under my eyes looks significantly healthier and younger and just total improvement in skin hydration.
