+ Star - Parking. Easy and abundant in the rear of the building. But the entrance to the Infinite MaW is tough to find, so map it first.
+ Star - Clean. It did appear, from the entrance to the restroom to the facial room, to be very clean.
+ Star - Oksana. I really did like her, and she was very gentle with her hands. She has gorgeous skin, too, so she was inspiring.
The place was pleasant enough in a no-frills way, but hey service tech ladies, if I wanted to stand at the counter and watch you all talk to each other while my tech tries to check me out, I would watch the Bravo channel instead, you know what I mean?
Here's the skinny on the treatments and the vibe of the visit my mum and I had this past week:
Mum complained to me that not only did she not like the microderm experience (which I loved, and I get microderms all the time, so I think mum just has sensitive skin...!) but that her technician was snitty when mum complained. Oh, and I know it's just a Groupon for a micro-derm and mini-facial, but the fact that mum was in and out in 20 minutes is crazy. I was in and out in 40, and that was pretty fast too. And that 40 was not all treatment time....
- Star - Hard sell. Don't diss a future client by grabbing all the dough that you can during the first moment. Major bummer.
But about my experience. Like I said, I felt that Oksana was a great technician and I liked her work, and would possibly experience her again, what made me crazy was the HARD HARD upselling. Wow. I am not a pushover but I felt, after 10 minutes of haranguing that I had to get a peel. So I did, for $39, and though it was nice, I still left feeling ripped off. Geez, I would have bought the two micro-derms for $67 if you hadn't pushed and pushed me, lady. It was just obnoxiously uncool.
So unfortunately for this otherwise 3-star salon, I have to take it to two.
