After he realized my phone was an iPhone 14 instead of the 13 he originally claimed it was, he tried to put it on me as if I had told him it was a 14. He said he would have to order the battery, but he never explained that he would call me when it came in. I called on Sunday (day two) to see if the battery had arrived. It didn't show up until Monday. I took my phone into the store so they could swap out the battery. My phone was working fine at that time. After they replaced the battery, my phone started shutting off during calls, then right after sending a text message, and again after another phone call. I took it back to them. They removed the new battery and put the old one back in, saying the new battery must have been defective. However, once the old battery was reinstalled, the phone continued doing the same thing--dying during phone calls and after sending texts. Now the phone just turns off and on by itself. As a result, I had to buy a new phone, which is exactly what I was trying to avoid by getting a new battery in the first place. They completely messed up my phone. I would not refer anyone to this place--not even my worst enemy.

He delivered it this morning and hooked everything back up, including making sure my printer communicates with my now very fast computer. I mistakenly thought Nerds on Call was a local company when I called them and wasn't happy they come from outside my county; but the service and skill are excellent. I will definitely recommend Nerds on Call to others and call them again if my computer or my husband's computer has any problems in the future.

Great customer service…read more I recently had a computer issue and decided not to go with them because of distance (I don't live close to the location at all) and cost. Man, do I whole heartedly regret my decision. They're customer service is top-notch and not to mention that they guarantee their work, do it right the first time, and give you 3 months free remote access service. It's so well worth the $$. I really wish I had gone with them. Word to the wise, the guy I went with is nice enough but I would never recommend him to anyone. Below is the image he uses to advertise. I'm not trying to kill his business (which, is why I'm not giving out his name) but simply put...I wholeheartedly regret my decision not to go with NonC.

I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Verizon. I came into the store to switch…read moremy service from AT&T to Verizon, expecting the process to be straightforward. Instead, what should have been a simple transaction took approximately four hours, and unfortunately, the situation was handled very poorly by the assistant manager, Zerlish. During the initial setup, numerous things were done incorrectly. We were later informed by the other employees that the account number had been entered incorrectly, among other mistakes. As a result, some of our phones did not work after leaving the store. This was not a minor inconvenience since some of the phones were completely unusable. Because of the problems created during the initial visit, we had to return to the store the following day and spend several more hours trying to figure out what had gone wrong and get everything working properly. It was incredibly frustrating to have spent so much time at the store initially, only to have to come back the next day because the account and phone setup had not been completed correctly. I do want to recognize Ernesto, the store manager, and another employee who assisted us during our second visit. They were extremely helpful, professional, and patient, and they ultimately worked through the problems and were able to get everything resolved. Their efforts made a very difficult experience much better, and I appreciate the time they took to correct the situation. However, I am very concerned that someone in an assistant manager position could make so many significant errors during a customer's account and phone setup. The lack of attention to detail resulted in hours of wasted time, two trips to the store, and a situation where none of our phones worked. I hope Verizon takes this complaint seriously and reviews what happened, particularly the training and performance expectations for employees handling account transfers and activations. Customers should be able to trust that their service will be set up correctly, especially when they are making the decision to leave another carrier and move to Verizon. While Ernesto and the other employees did an excellent job fixing the situation, the initial experience was extremely disappointing and fell far below what I expected from Verizon.

Said it would take another two weeks but I finally heard back. They told me they can't fix it to come pick it up. I go and pick it up. They're on lunch break. I come back a second time a different day at a different time they're on a break. I finally get in there to get somebody and they told me that there is a 90 day policy that they will recycle it if they want the only proof that they reached out to you is them giving you a screenshot that is not legible. Customer service is rude. The guy comes out is basically like so we recycled your item deal with it. I told him I've come during your business hours and I live out of town so I can't just wait around for an hour for you guys to get back. He says there's a phone number on the door and treats me like I'm stupid. Needless to say I ask him for some kind of proof that they try to reach out to me before recycling. My PlayStation five I get a screenshot that only has the days they told me they couldn't fix it. If you want rude customer service to pay a fee that you don't get back if they can't fix it and for them to fix it on their own time, take it here just be careful with whatever you take there because they may tell you it's not fixable just so they can keep it for parts.

Returned and had to pay re-stocking fee on each. First store in Y.C. said, "We can't accept returns here. You have to go to the corporate store." Did that and had a hassle there, too, but finally they accepted the returns. It was the last day to return them (14 days), they said, but they counted since PURCHASE, not DELIVERY. I called and explained that I should not be charged for the service on these phones since A. The service wasn't as advertised, and B. We only used them a few times to verify coverage. TIP: Don't cancel your old phones until you verify coverage, if you can swing that. I spoke with a few reps who all held the company line that I was on the hook for the better part of $400 for a couple phones that did not work out. Called the attention of the BBB, the CA Attorney General, their "corporate response" department, and the FCC regarding their inaccurate coverage maps. Guess what? About a week later I got a call back from corporate. The gentleman was quite agreeable. He asked about my experience and I related all to him. He very kindly offered a complete refund on money paid and a cancellation of money "owed," for which I was and expressed to him my sincere appreciation. Their deals on phones and service were really enticing and I was disappointed that it didn't work out. We did subscribe to their internet service as we have line-of-sight to a nearby tower, and that's been great and a big savings in money and hassle compared with Digital Path and Succeed.net. No long phone calls to tech support, just reboot the Gateway device and that usually gets service back up to good speeds. Upload and ping aren't good for gamers, I'd say, but for regular folks wanting to watch the latest episode of South Park, no issues whatsoever. I did ask to be called back if they got a tower near the poor reception area locally, but didn't hear back. I should probably follow up. If the reception was as advertised, I'd certainly consider re-upping with them.
