I enjoy shopping for wine and spirits at this Total Wine store. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly and they always have samples of some interesting new liquor to try. It gives a nice edge to the shopping time ;)

My favorite go to place for browsing, delivery, or wishful reading. What has been truly interesting is that many items that were first introduced as Spirits Direct selections have risen to the Premium Brands. Now they do have all kinds of magnificent selections that can even run over a thousand dollars a bottle. I know what I want and zero in on that, but keep an eye out for something new. I am fortunate enough to be familiar with the many flavors so I really don't need to ask for help. However, many times I have helped others who were not sure what to buy and can provide my own recommendations. As an example, there was 3 younger folks (I am old), about college age, and they wanted to buy an expensive bottle of Bourbon but only could go by TV commercials and price tags. I asked if they were going to drink it and when affirmed I spent about a half an hour with them explaining my experience with certain selections. Two were going to mix theirs with a cola (ugh) while one drank his neat. So right there there were two different types of styles which I recommended so the really good stuff would not go to waste being mixed with a cola. On wines, I recommend you do your research as highly rated wines may not reach their full potential for several years and can vary wildly from year to year due to the weather. I have several bottles which fit that category that are now matured and ready to enjoy. Also remember that transportation and storage can have an adverse effect. So don't stress, just get what you want for what you are going to have. Going to have a margarita party? Don't buy expensive Tequila unless you a going to make them from scratch. I also avoid mixes. Two or three scratch made margaritas can make for a lovely evening. If you like oysters, stroll over to the wine section and look for an oyster on the label. Yum!

Nothing beats their energy and so warm welcoming... I'd rather coming here instead of going to some place with weird vibes.

The store hours are wrong. They close warlier. I made a long trip for nothing. Also when they are open they are way too expensive.

I want to be very clear upfront: a theft occurred. My boyfriend stole a $40 bottle of kratom during a relapse. That was wrong, and I am not excusing it. What I am reviewing is how this situation was handled afterward. When he ran from the store, his phone fell out of his pocket. The phone was not stolen property and had nothing to do with the merchandise taken. When I came to the store shortly afterward, employees confirmed they had the phone. I explained that my boyfriend was actively trying to enter a treatment facility for substance use disorder and that all of his insurance information, including his Blue Cross Blue Shield member ID, was locked on that phone due to two-factor authentication. Without it, he could not be admitted to treatment. I offered to repay the stolen item, first double, then triple, and eventually offered $200, not to excuse the theft, but to resolve the situation and retrieve critical medical information. I was scared the longer the wait to get him directly into a facility, the more likely he was to end up out on a spree, and might never make it back. I also offered to provide his location to police after he entered treatment. Despite this, employees refused to allow even supervised access to retrieve the insurance information. I was told statements such as, "If he wants to be petty, we'll be petty," while his phone was right there in his hands. I was also spoken to at length about what a terrible person my boyfriend was, how he "didn't deserve favors from them" and "needed to be held accountable". I agreed that he didn't need favors. I agreed about the accountability and offered location. I wasn't asking for favors I was asking for his personal property that had nothing to do with the stolen kratom. They had so much to say about someone they had never met beyond this incident. I was in the store for over an hour crying and explaining the urgency. Eventually, I was told the phone was being kept "for evidence," though a police report had already been filed and the phone itself was not stolen property. I ultimately called the police because I was terrified my boyfriend could die if he could not access treatment. I was asked to wait outside in freezing weather. While I briefly stepped away to use the restroom, police arrived. When I returned, I was told the store claimed they did not have the phone, despite earlier confirming they did. The situation left me devastated, unheard, and unable to get my boyfriend into treatment during a critical relapse window. Accountability matters. But so does humanity. This situation could have been handled with professionalism and compassion while still involving law enforcement. Instead, it escalated into something unnecessarily cruel during a medical crisis. I hope this business reflects on how it handles situations involving addiction, emergencies, and vulnerable people going forward.

Luckily for me, I'm in the process of replacing my ID so I got turned away despite offering to show my birth certificate, social security card, and proof of address - basically all of the docs that the DMV requires to prove one's identity.. Apparently CoLoRaDo GlAsS anD VaPe has much more stringent security protocols than the bureaucracies of our government do .. Anyways, lucky for me, Austin Smoke was a quick 3 minute drive away! When I entered, I was greeted with a smile. The glass is also much nicer AND much more affordable. I picked out a similar bubbler to the one I'd seen at Colorado glass and to my surprise it was a couple bucks cheaper. I asked the man behind the counter if I paid cash if he could knock five bucks off the total. To my surprise, he replies, "I can do much better than that", and proceeds to take 50% off the total!! Apparently all of their glass is always 50% off the ticket price.. He could have easily taken me for the sucker that I was and charged me what I had originally intended on paying, but instead he did the honorable thing and gave me the discounted price anyways! So come support this small business! I'll most certainly be back..

I've been in stores like this before and usually you have the kindest, most knowledgeable people. Apparently some new laws in Texas passed, so I get why the saleswoman was being careful about how to sell stuff, but she was super rude and vague and snobby about it. I personally just buy gummies for myself every once in a blue moon, so I'm not super knowledgeable about THC products overall. I've heard of things like "sativa" or "indica" but don't know off the top of my head what that means. but my friend wanted something smokable. I think legally you have to buy a vape for nicotine and then the product? But she assumed we knew that. Still don't know the rules. I gave a heads up to the saleswoman that my friend has never had any THC products before, and she's taking it for medical issues, and that we're kinda clueless about this stuff. I've gone into stores many times saying I am clueless and it's a normal experience for them to "dumb it down". The sales lady said how there was a raid down the street and how "we're asking the same questions over and over" and insinuated we were on something. To be clear, I was in the store first before my friend came in, so I did ask the same questions my friend ended up asking. We're two 30 to 40 year old women who haven't had a single substance. We just wanted answers. It was pretty offensive. She said go to another store, she's not comfortable selling to us, because "we keep asking the same questions." We were literally just trying to figure out what would be the weakest possible option, since she was new to this. Very basic questions. I know with gummies they have doses, wasn't sure about vapes. And we tried asking the same question in multiple ways and she kept shutting us down and freaking out about the new laws. I get it, be careful, but she wasn't listening AT ALL. I get that she can't give medical advice. We weren't asking for any. Imagine going to a restaurant that has wine and asking the difference between Merlot and Malbec, or what tannins are, or how much alcohol is in a glass...and the waitress telling you that you're drunk and need to leave. It was just really snobby, rude, and unprofessional.
