We have been here several times and love the store! A couple of weeks ago, my partner stopped in and was treated very rudely by an employee. One bad employee can sour everything. When asking for specific wine, this employee said look at the web site. A couple more rude comments and he left. Not sure we will be back. Watch your employees and make sure these actions don't happen. Very read more

This was a really nice TW in Grand Rapids. Was nice to see they finally put one out here since I've moved away. The staff at TW are always friendly no matter where you go. They had a small rose tasting in the back so we popped by there as we were looking around and she made some recommendations to us. read more

Love this place as there are always a wide range of free tastings to do. There are so many wines and liquors to explore as well.

Easy finding what I need because everything is always labeled so nicely! Their wine tasting are nice and will push you try things outside of your normal range. And if you're there on the right day you may catch whiskey, beers, or cocktails you'll add to your purchase! read more

Total Wine & More - Great Tasting options on the weekend! - Beer, Wine & Spirits Near Me - Grand Rapids, Michigan

Excellent selection and service from all members that I can in contact with. Was able to find everything that I needed plus a few items that I did not have on my list. read more

Store selection and services like the tastings and classroom in the back are impressive. Senior staff at the very visible desk at the front door were rude, unhelpful, and inconvenienced by an innocent question. read more

This store has really impressed me. I normally just do the pick-up on the side of the building but recently went inside. The workers were all super friendly and we got tickets to taste various wines at stations they had (one of the workers said they often have samples on the weekends). The prices are very fair (actually one of the things I bought was non-alcoholic and way cheaper than on Amazon). They require EVERYONE in your party to be 21 and show their ID, even when buying non-alcoholic things (both in store and on the side lot--so make sure every single person in your car is 21 regardless of what you buy). I really respect that they check with everyone despite of purchase. Highly recommend this store! Consistently impressed and happy when I go here. read more

Great buy great selection- all over the country tequila cheaper than buying in Mexico

I'd never heard of Total Wine & More before they opened this location on 28th Street in Grand Rapids, but some friends told us we should check it out. Nate and I needed some items recently, so we decided to stop in. I was a bit more prepared than he was for the sheer size of the place! I'd heard it was huge, but it's really absolutely massive. They have a vast selection of beer, wine, liquor, mixers, and non alcoholic options (including non alcoholic spirits, beer, etc.). It was overwhelming to take everything in at first, but the signage in-store is pretty great to show you where everything is. We had fun checking out all the different types of booze we'd never seen before. They also have some small snack items but I'd love to see more local or Michigan options for snacks to make it a total one stop shop. We got a container of Boar's Head hummus there. You can also get cards and gift bags if you need to pick up a quick gift. I liked the selection of shooters near the front checkout so you can see all the different kinds. There's also a quick chiller for wine bottles that's really neat. The employee who rang up our purchases was friendly and polite. There's a "rewards" program but you can't use it for any alcohol discounts due to Michigan's liquor laws. I'll definitely go back to Total Wine for my home bar needs. read more

Love this place for the enormous selection of literally anything from wine to liquor to seltzer and beer but also the free samples they have They also carry my Wilson Creek Almond champagne which I love read more

They sell kegs and no taps after you have reserved kegs weeks in advance. Store manager is rude sorry no more shopping here. Will support the local guys who have taps. read more

This place has everything. I mean EVERYTHING. There are also a zillion people working, so if you cannot find something or need a recommendation, you do not have to look far for an employee. The prices are really good, too. I honestly have not seen anyone in the greater GR area beat their prices. They are not in a convenient location for me, but when I do get over that way, I stock up. read more

I've always loved my experiences at the Total Wine in Grand Rapids and tonight I had the pleasure in participating in one of the wine classes/tastings. Id like to give a personal shoutout to Mo and Kayla for the outstanding experience they gave us before, during, and after the class. They were super personable, friendly, knowledgeable, and even allowed us to stay a little after to eat some snacks and discuss wine. Had a great time! read more

The selection is unmatched in the area- so a positive. The cashiers are substandard, I have been there 5 times and they are 5 for 5 in rudeness. It's always the same 2 cashiers- lazy and act as if they are doing me favor by serving me. I can't be the only one experiencing but must be hard to find good help. read more

My wife and I were at the terminal, and needed to pick something up to eat on our flight out. Everyone else here has been talking about the selection of liquors, but we zero'd right in on the salads. I got a Cobb Salad, and I can tell you now, it was the best I've ever had! Tasty as heck, and I've never encountered better, fresher spinach! read more

I ordered a Christmas Gift of Tequila for my dad and I had never done a pre-pick up order before. I am located in Florida and I had my mother pick this up in Michigan. Being new to this process and wanting it to go smoothly for my mom, I called ahead of time and asked about details on the pick up. The woman who answered was incredibly nice and let me know that I can choose the pick up time window and provide details on who was going to pick it up. I really liked that feature as I recently purchased a pick up order from a different retailer and they did not offer that feature. I am so excited to present this present to my dad. Not only was customer service great, but the price was perfect for this item. I received text messages when it was ready and all in all I will be back to shop at this location again! read more

This place is AWESOME! This place has hundreds (maybe thousands.....who really knows.......I didn't count them all) of kinds of wine. And it's not just wine that they have either, they have quite a selection of craft beers and hard liquors. Usually when my husband and I go we start out on the wine side (for him and me) and end on the beer side (for him). At Christmas time we purchased all the hard liquors and extras that were needed to make our special Christmas drinks and the kids' Christmas gifts (homemade Irish cream, Starburst vodka, and homemade cherry whiskey)......it was just like one stop shopping! The prices are the best around, and trust me, I know my prices.........they have everyone else beat. read more

Wow! The selection here is off the charts and the prices are amazing. Everyone working there was super friendly and helpful. Wine, beer, spirits of all kinds, mixers, snacks, partyware, the list goes on and on. They are slated to begin classes and tastings soon. Great addition to the GR beverage scene. Ample parking and close to 96, I'm glad to see the space inhabited by a retailer that may actually be successful in the long term. read more

I feel like a kid in a candy store except better because it's alcohol. So much to pick from and always something to discover.

This store is huge and it has just about anything you like in wine, spirits and beer. I was amazed at how expensive some bottles of liquor can be. Never have I seen a bottle cost thousands of dollars. With that being said" , they offer your basic selection of drinks too. At a normal price. read more

Omg this place is absolutely amazing and anything and everything you could possibly want and so much more!! Great prices and while I would love to have one close to us, could be very dangerous!! Stocked up and can't wait to come back! read more

I can't say enough good things about the Total Wine in Friendswood near Baybrook Mall. They have a huge selection of everything. Excellent prices-- hard to find better pricing anywhere. Their app is great, lets you order online and pickup curbside or in the store. Employees are very helpful. They're always giving out samples which is smart because I've bought a lot of new products I would never have tried otherwise. Only negative is their mixers are higher priced than other liquor stores or grocery stores. Skip them if you've got time to stop somewhere else. read more

We've been to a few Total Wine & More shops in Kentucky and Tennessee, so I was prepared for the overwhelming selection of products. Everything is listed at state minimum, but due to Michigan liquor laws, the liquor case discounts that are avaliable in other states cannot exist here. The rewards program still exists and they have a lot of non-alcoholic options that you could use your rewards towards, even if it is just a wine gift bag or soda. Staff is always helpful and friendly. I recommend going in with a list or you'll easily get distracted by all the options. read more

Giant selection of beer, wine and spirits. They even have a decently sized humidor as well stocked with cigars!

This store is absolute heaven. Think BevMo on crack. Great prices and you absolutely will not go home empty handed!

We came to Total Wine to buy alcohol for our wedding. We looked like lost puppies until Michael came up. He did not lead us astray. He went above and beyond to help us find inexpensive options without buying the complete bottom shelf alcohol. All staff were friendly and helpful as well. They even helped load our car up. 5 stars and will recommend to people we know. Also we love the cigar section and tasting section. read more

Total Wine is a fantastic store. They have most everything you need and often much more. Prices are decent as well. The customer service people on the floor are very knowledgeable and helpful and help make the shopping experience very pleasant. The only downside are the cashiers. We've been there 5 times now and every time, without exception, we've had to help correct what they have rung up, missed coupons and wrong totals. And when you show them their mistakes they take offense and seem to get annoyed. There needs to be more training for these folks, especially in the area of customer service/relations. Love the store, cashiers need more training on the store computer system and customer service. Customers aren't your enemy, they are the reason your there in the first place. read more
