Visiting Grand Rapids and in search of some good wine. We stumbled on this place that looked more like a house than a wine store. The store isn't huge but was very pleasantly surprised by the selection and prices. This isn't Total Wine but they seem to know there stuff. Found a French Red Graves that was $20. Thought it was a great buy. Also a couple Spanish wines that were reasonable. read more

Nice wine store near in the SW (Grandville/Wyoming) area, just south of Rivertown Mall. I found a very affordable Multipulciano D'Abruzzo there that turned out to be not very good, but I suppose that was my fault for thinking I could get something good for so cheap. But when they didn't have any Vernaccia Di San Giminano, they said they would special order some for me. In a couple of days they called to tell me it was now available. Nice service and nice wine. Vernaccia Di San Gimignano is a wonderful dry white wine from Tuscany you should try if you haven't. Maybe they still have some. read more

This is a nice little shop in wyoming/grandville just down the street from the mall. They have a great selection of craft beers, wine, and local Amish cheeses. The staff is always helpful and knowledgable, which is handy if you're not a beer and wine connoisseur. Do yourself a favor, stop over at Andiamo's and order a pizza, walk two doors down to The Copper Vine, grab some wine to go with your meal, by the time you're done deciding, your pizza will probably be read for you to pick up. Take it home and enjoy a great meal all from one little corner of this plaza. read more

This place has the best selection of wine and beer. The owners are fabulous - knowledgeable and friendly. My hubby and I have a certain favorite beer that is not easy to get - but Jim and Nichole can get it AND they always let us know when a shipment comes in. The Copper Vine put out a wine tasting on FB so we went in to taste 4 wines. Very friendly but the plastic cups seemed to detract from the experience. We bought two bottles but there was no effort to show us other wines we may like. It was moderately busy and it seemed they could have took more time to show us other wines that we may have had interest in. Later in the day we purchased 12 bottles from a competitor. I think this is more of a place where craft beers are sold than wine. The owner I think checked us out and was friendly and asked us if we found everything ok. We did but I would suggest he have someone take care of the drawer and he who I believe is knowledgeable about wines work with his customers on the floor for recommendations. Awesome place tucked away from the busyness of the mall area with super easy access. Admittedly my taste for wine is weird, not many out there that I care for so it's not uncommon for me to not find on the shelf that which I like. These guys have been awesome, Jim has taken my requests (special order) for specific wines and have gotten them in quickly if they were able to and then haven't ripped me off on the price once it arrives. Great little store to buy your favorite beverages. A little pricy, but it's great to go buy some local Michigan wines and beers!

The Copper Vine has a huge selection of beer and wine to choose from. The clearly organized store setup is easy to locate what you want. The owners are very knowledgeable about all of their product. They are great in putting together quick gifts for small get togethers with friends, or they can easily put together corporate gift baskets in a pinch. read more
