We frequent the Blind Horse several times a year but have not been there since they opened their…read morenew terrace bar and it did not disappoint. Gorgeous design and two full bars with the usual impeccable service. We had a drink here before we ate dinner so I can't comment on the menu but seems they have a more casual menu available out here (pizzas, chicken tenders/fries is what I saw others eating around us). We went on to eat inside at the main restaurant and it was delicious per usual but the point of this review is to highlight that you must visit the terrace!

My bestie is SEVERELY allergic to poultry and her husband was recently diagnosed with Celiac disease which means gluten is no good (even "cross contamination"). This makes finding a restaurant that can accommodate their needs a huge challenge. Our server went out of her way to talk to the chef and check things out. They were able to accommodate these specific diets and still beautifully create their entrees. It has been horrible to adjust life with Celiac, so when the food came out, I really thought there might be some tears of joy. ;) This gave us more reasons to come back! Thank you!

During our sound check we were told to turn the music down once, then the Owner comes out and tells us it needs to be 50% Quieter, our sound man said there's only so much the equipment can do, to which the owner responded "No, you don't need to play here, we're doing you a service having here, you don't need to be here so turn down or don't play" we ended up playing significantly quieter, and the owner left immediately after we started so it didn't matter! We also received no complaints from the manager or customers, we were outside too! He was needlessly disrespectful and dismissive of us, and as an owner who very frequently has live music, that's something you need to develop an understanding for. Wouldn't come here if you're a musician or have to do any kind of work for the stubborn and rude owner.
