Even in a group environment she is able to give you individual attention and make sure you are preforming the exercises correctly. She keeps on you to push yourself farther and achieve goals while not becoming overbearing or too Drill Sargent like. This is great if you are like me and tend to shut down when orders are barked at you. The group setting allows for fun games to be incorporated in to the training keeping it interesting and entertaining. I can't recommend Megan enough. *Just thought I would add that I have dropped a dress size so this camp does produce the results you want!*

My husband and I have been taking a private Pilates with Christina for the past 6 months. When we…read morestarted we were total beginners and Christina was very patient with us and very upbeat about our progress, even as newbies. Pilates was great for our bodies individually, and it was also a great activity for us to do as a couple. My husband is strong in a lot of ways, but it was really great to see how Pilates got to new places in his body and strengthened them. I definitely strengthened my core muscles in a way that I didn't know was possible, and it is now easier for me to sit up straight and have posture better. I was especially needing this inner core tightening after having two children, and think that all women who have had babies can really use Pilates after having things all stretched out in the mid section and the pelvic floor :) People have asked both my husband and I if we grew taller since we started our Pilates classes, and we no doubt feel taller because of our regular private Pilates classes. Being strong in our bodies through our Pilates classes has improved our lives all around. I think when you are strong in your body, you are stronger in your life as well. Thanks so much Christina for being an awesome teacher. I highly recommend Pilates for everyone.

I came to this practice a little later in life, after being introduced to Pilates by a seasoned practitioner of a slightly different style in San Francisco. When I showed her June Hines' website, she was immediately impressed and told me how lucky I was to have access to a studio of this caliber near me in the Philadelphia area. She was absolutely right. Five months in, I feel stronger, leaner, and more mentally centered. As someone with hypermobile joints and a lot of experience trying different studios over the years, I can say this is the first place where I've felt genuinely supported in my practice. There are no gimmicks--just thoughtful, skilled instruction, and a clear commitment to the integrity of the method. The studio has a welcoming, inclusive energy. It's body-positive without needing to announce it--everyone here just gets it. The community is grounded, kind, and focused on well-being through controlled movement. June Hines Pilates offers fully equipped studios, a variety of class types (from private sessions to small group mat classes), and instructors who are not only rigorously trained but also continuously learning. To put it plainly: there are plenty of studios out there where instructors hold questionable online certifications. This is the opposite. At June Hines, there's real expertise, and it makes a difference in the outcomes of your practice. Highly recommended. Signed, --extremely discerning lover of Pilates.
