barre3 -- Dallas, TX…read more barre3 was the first barre class I ever tried, and it completely changed how I view fitness. I originally found it through ClassPass, and now I find myself rebooking over and over again -- it's truly become one of the biggest reasons I fell back in love with working out. What I love most is how fun and uplifting every class feels. It's this perfect mix of cardio, strength training, and balance work, but somehow it feels more like a dance party than a workout. The music, the energy, and the lighting all create a space that pushes you while still being gentle and encouraging. The instructors are so friendly and supportive, and even the owner teaches classes, which really says a lot about the culture here. You can tell they genuinely care about their community -- they remember your name, cheer you on, and make you feel comfortable no matter your fitness level. Every time I leave, I feel stronger, more confident, and more connected -- both to myself and to the people around me. It's rare to find a studio that combines great workouts, amazing instructors, and a true sense of belonging, but barre3 does exactly that. It's no surprise they're opening more locations -- once you try one class, you'll understand why!

They offer a variety of barre, kickboxing, and weight training classes so you can have a well rounded fitness routine. Their music choices are top notch and they frequently come up with new routines. They offer free classes for newcomers and they often have membership deals going on so don't hesitate to check them out!

I was thrilled to come across C7 on a google search a few days ago! Brief backstory: I used to take…read moretrampoline/rebounder classes at Xtend Barre in Preston Hollow, but it closed during COVID. I was unable to find anything like that in Dallas, and Motiv Fitness (where I go in Houston) has not gotten to the DFW area. I was in Athleta and the associate told me she takes rebounder classes at the new Club Studio, but it requires a membership and classes are full. I figure maybe some other business has this by now, and sure enough, I found C7! I signed up for the morning class today, and with little traffic on a Saturday, it was only a 13 minute drive for me! I showed up early since I am a newbie, and the owner Shannon welcomed me and told me about her business and philosophy. Then she introduced me to instructor Lisa (what a great name!) who put me behind her spot so I could follow. The room was spacious and has a hidden door in the mirrored wall leading to a bathroom that was stocked with amenities. In the studio, each station was pre-set with numerous props, including a long resistance band with handles made of the same material instead of plastic (I had not seen that before), bala wrist weights and bala ring (10 lb), 3 lb and 5 lb dumbbells, a glider, a booty band, and a ball. We bounced to a fantastic playlist, with each cardio segment choreographed and repeated, then got off and on for different strength, core, and glute work using different props (and we were given options). The finale was running through as much of the combined choreographed cardio segments that we could in the last song. The energy was high, the community was very welcoming and encouraging, and no one laughed at my failed attempts to match choreography. I got a full body workout and was drenched in sweat (and was grateful the studio provided a towel which I had forgotten to bring). I stopped by a coffee shop on the way out of the area to get matcha, and told them I needed it iced because I took this class. A customer overheard me and asked, "Did you go to C7? I have been wanting to try it!" I will definitely return when I am back in Dallas!

I recently visited LA Fitness in Dallas on Illinois Street at the Wynnewood Shopping Center and had…read morean experience that could have been very stressful, but thanks to two outstanding employees, it turned into something positive. After my work out I wasn't able to locate my key to my locker to access my belongings. I went to the front desk and spoke to Gabby. She immediately stepped in to help. She was extremely kind, patient, and proactive. She went out of her way to ask multiple team members for assistance and did not give up on helping me resolve the situation. Coach Neal was the only one who stepped up without hesitation. From the moment he came over, he was calm, understanding, and very professional. He took the time to assess the situation and ultimately helped me gain access to my locker, even though it required extra effort to resolve. His willingness to help, along with his patience and positive attitude, made a big difference during a frustrating moment. Both Gabby and Coach Neal demonstrated excellent customer service, teamwork, and genuine care. They are truly valuable assets to this location, and their actions reflect very positively on the facility. I'm very grateful for their help and hope they receive the recognition they deserve. She told me I couldn't bring my son under my husband's account when it's all the same account and we are a FAMILY. We have gone in before and she couldn't have cared but today she wasn't on the phone as she always is and decided to tell me that I couldn't bring my son in the gym. Been at the gym since it opened and this has NEVER been a problem. Karissa needs therapy. Not an ego trip.
