I am going to make it my business to start coming out here more. I have been on a Class Pass kick lately and decided to sign up for the restorative Pilates session. The class was at 7pm which gave me plenty of time to get through traffic and park. On a Thursday evening there was plenty of parking too thankfully. There were a few folks in class and the session was very intimate! Hisako was super welcoming and attentive to my needs as a distance runner and fitness instructor. She gave me a lot of options to work on certain parts of my body that needed TLC! The 45 minute time frame for this class was perfect also! In addition the soothing yoga-ish music was a nice touch for this gentle practice. I LOVE THE PILATES REFORMER and legit feel like this is what I have been missing my whole life. Now that I have the ropes on this piece of equipment I will be utilizing it at my current gym more often! It was nice to stop in and try something not only new to me but beneficial to me as an athlete. I will absolutely be dropping back in on this class when I'm in the area again!

I've tried several places with different styles and Edge is what I've been looking for. It's located in the Bishop Arts District, which is a great community in itself. Depending on when you take a class you can either grab a mornings coffee after, lunch or dinner. The place itself is cold and decorated nicely. Vibrant pops of color give you more energy. I'm a restroom snob and this place has my favorite restroom design! Clean, nicely decorated and fully stocked. It's be nice if they put in some accessories like hair scrunchies and lady products. The trainers are knowledgeable and energetic. I can't recall other names but Amanda kicks my ass every time. I've tried the restorative Pilates late class which is nice because it's basically yoga On a reformer. Expect a slow pace class to stretch and destreza. Personally, I need to move faster so the other classes are more challenging for me. The Arms, Abs and Ass class is my favorite! I feel it two days later. One thing I would like to see incorporated more is additional more challenging options for those who are more advanced. They offer a 2 week unlimited special for new clients. Glad they do because that's about how long it'll take you to decide if it's for you. Great place, give it a try!

Our instructor, Krysisha, was absolutely amazing. From the moment I walked in the door, I felt her energy. She greeted us with the biggest smile, and her positivity was truly contagious. She made the entire class feel welcoming, encouraging, and empowering. The studio itself lives up to its name, warm, calming, and inviting. I went with two friends and my cousin, and we all left feeling good, worked out and uplifted. It honestly felt like a little escape from the day. Zen, the owner was amazing and down to earth. Since we were the only ones scheduled for the class, they kindly allowed us to arrive a little late. The front desk staff, along with Victoria, were very accommodating. When we arrived, the front desk staff greeted us, and Victoria met us to guide us to the room where our mat Pilates session would take place. The studio's interior was aesthetically pleasing, featuring a calm and airy environment with a stunning neutral color palette. It was quite cozy. I usually take reformer Pilates, but I really enjoyed the mat Pilates class. Victoria didn't go easy on us, and I appreciated the challenge. We all thoroughly enjoyed our pilates session. I can actually feel my muscles working with intention (which I love). I've been taking the early morning Arms & Abs class with Selena and she's been great. The pace is perfect; not too fast, not too slow. She's really intentional with breath work and cues, which makes such a difference. Compared to other places I've tried... one didn't feel like a workout at all and another was so fast paced I couldn't even catch my breath. It felt more exhausting than effective, and I was pausing more than actually moving. I'm planning to try a Power Flow class soon and hoping I love it just as much as Arms & Abs
