They use leaf blowers, 'nuff said. One day I even saw a couple of them trying to blow water out of a puddle in the street.

I was almost clipped and run off of the road by one of their dump trucks... The driver decided he didn't wanna go turn left anymore and cut me off going straight and almost clipped the front of my car crossing 611 just south of Doylestown, PA. I called the company to report it and the office manager couldn't tell me what they would do was not apologetic at all, and said "I can't say if the owners will call you back about this". Have no clue what they are doing This service has been taking care of our development for 3 years now They ruin people's lawns, destroy trees by pruning recently planted young trees and then breaking their branches. rose bush just planted cost $400 ruined by them because they chopped it down and I told them not to touch anything or spary any of there chemicals. Stay as far away from then as possibly. Their workers do not speak English or pretend they dont know english. No brains. You tell them not to touch or prune your tree and in a few weeks they will. And they won't even know or care about it. do not use this company. they killed more then 7 plants 2 shrubs and also kicked up a rock on glass door and broke that. never use them. Total turf really helped in an emergency. Reasonable rate that they adhered to and went above and beyond to get the job done. I had one of two cherry tree trunks fall over. Huge thing, 80-feet long. The crew came over the next morning and removed the debris. Also seeing that the remaining trunk is ready to fall theybgot a bucket truck to finish the job the same day. 99% of the workers do not speak English. Have no clue what they are doing. Good luck getting to talk to a manager or who is in charge. All you get is some receptionist bakes Susan who will just keep passing the buck around. This service has been taking care of our development for years. This company not only does a poor job, but the employees are often rude or just ignore you're requests entirely. Who's the customer? Oh ok, do whatever you want? AWFUL- just awful. From leaving huge ruts in the grass with their movers when the ground is wet and soft...to destroying our Christmas lights and decorations with weed whackers as they are STILL (why?) carelessly doing the lawn in DECEMBER... Where to begin... I've lived in a condominium neighborhood that Total Turf has "serviced" for the last several years. The list of complaints are too long and span too any years to begin rattling off so Ill point out the big one. Total Turf sprays banned/toxic broad Leef herbicides without paying proper (any) consideration to what it gets on. I've caught them spraying TRIMEC (contains Arsenic) with a BOOM SPRAYER tractor on the sidewalks and connecting lawns between the houses here, where children play and dogs walk. The guy spraying didn't have a spray license but he sure had an attitude... When confronted about this, the employee "Mr. Kenny Johns" told me "he doesn't get paid to look out for where kids play when he sprays". All this after the owner of the company, Daniel Schumaker (SP?) personally "assured" me and my neighbors that they would use targeted back pack sprayers after we complained back in July. If poisoning their customers wasn't enough, they also prune during the wrong times, charge for mowing and upkeep that is unnecessary. They are rude, unhelpful and dishonest on the phone when they aren't outright avoiding our calls. If you are a property manager, run the other way. These guys have been nothing but a headache (or tumor?). If you are a property owner, you can and should do better. You've been warned! read more

If I could give them a ZERO, I would. They maintain the property in my townhouse development and they do a terrible job. They only know how to prune with gas powered hedge trimmers and shape everything into unnatural geometric shapes. Everything is done based on $ and not on what "needs" to be done. They chemically treat the lawn (ON EARTH DAY TOO!!) and use such a high strength that it stings the skin and you can taste it in the air. Good luck finding a foreman anywhere. If you want that classy gas station look, go for these guys. I dread the days when I see their trucks pull in the parking lot. read more

Total Turf has been servicing our community for 3 years. They do a much better job than the previous company. They keep our community looking beautiful. These "men" do snow removal at my house. I wake up after a night of obnoxiously loud shoveling to find my brand new car scraped up from a snow blower. They denied the possibilty of it being their fault and stated "if they had to pay for all the damages they cause, they would be out of business".
