I've had GGF hardscape fairly large outdoor areas at two homes over the past five years. The last was completed in late summer this year. I had very definite ideas for how I wanted the hardscaping done, and they did a great job of developing a shape, style, and look that I wanted. Frank, Jeff and other workers were polite, friendly, collaborative and timely. Friends and neighbors at both homes were complimentary about the look they achieved. My plants were happy and I had/have serene, lovely outdoor spaces to enjoy. I cannot speak about their landscaping skills as I handle all planting and care of plants in my gardens. I can only say that I was extremely pleased with the hardscaping they did for us. Frank and Jeff clearly love what they do. They worked hard to ensure that I was happy with what they were doing. I had a small brick border that I wanted to put in after they were done to ensure that all my soil didn't get washed away before my newly planted garden matured a bit. I dug a trench but was unsure of how to mortar in the bricks. Jeff simply came back and did it for me with Frank's blessings and they refused to bill me for that little project. I began using GGF Landscaping approximately 6 years ago when I first contacted them for my lawn cutting service. Not only was their pricing very reasonable but Frank Maletta, the owner, made it a point to personally contact me after the initial cuts to be sure I was satisfied-which I most definitely was. As time went on I asked GGF to do some shrub replacements and pruning, service for which I again was elated. Additionally, Frank began doing all the mulching for my trees and flower beds that has now become an annual spring time service. Last year, unfortunately as a result of a heavy storm, my wife's favorite Willow tree was downed and it was a rather large tree. When I called Frank to see if he knew of a service that could remove it, GGF was at my home the very next morning. Not only did they remove the tree and grind the stump, they re-leveled the soil and seeded as well. At this point in time, we're into our 7th season with Frank and GGF and I wouldn't want anyone else working on my grounds. Frank is the man! We called him for a spring cleanup one week before Easter. A busy time of year. He found a way to fit us in on his schedule. The work they did was much better than I could have imagined. Some history. A family in our area is dealing with a very difficult situation and does not have a lot of spare time to tend to things like yard work. Guess what? Frank volunteers his time and resources to them so they have one less thing to worry about. That sealed the deal for me. I am a customer for life! After his most recent work, we are in discussions with him to build a patio in our back yard. I have never dealt with a more personable and professional person. In my opinion, any negative review for his company is the result of the customer being WRONG. I hope nobody is swayed by Yelp trolls who just love being negative or people who try to weasel out of the bill. I wish he was a plumber and electrician too! I have worked with GGF landscaping on several projects around my house over the years. Last spring, they designed and planted a large bed behind a fence I had recently installed. They did a fantastic job. The suggestions Frank made for the placement of the plants was perfect. This spring,every one of those plants is coming back, which is something given that it took 113 daylily plants to reach around the length of the fence. GGF also installed a belgium block border around my 2 beds that line my driveway. Again, everything was done perfectly, and Frank even came up with a way to do the border with less stone, reducing the cost. This is my go-to company for anything I need outside. I switched to GGF Landscape Group three years ago and couldn't be happier. Frank and his crew are very professional and personable. They do a wonderful job with my yard maintenance, spring clean up, mulch and fall clean up. I had a water issue on the side of my house, Frank figured out what was causing the flooding, helped me meet with the township to discuss a solution and then had his crew perform the work.
