We didn't really notice how bad the service was because we had a new born and we're busy with other things. Service: They would come and service our pool for 4-7 minutes, we have video proof that they came in threw in chemicals, poorly brushed our pool. There were some weeks where they wouldn't show up and still charge us for services. They never, NOT ONCE ever recommended anything, it wasn't until I made mention that the pool seemed off that they recommended other services. As a service provider it's important they let the client know what can be done to keep the pool in better condition. Breaking point: We asked to have the main filter cleaned out because the pool was looking so bad, so they did it... we noticed that DE kept coming into the pool, they did try to remedy the problem but it took too long to fix. Finally they found out that the gasket was worn out so we needed a new one, after they replaced the gasket the pump went out. It wasn't until we noticed and contacted them that they said anything about it. Yet again another example where we had to bring up an issue they caused. Come to find out the pump gave out - I found it odd that it had been working well before they fixed the gasket and then it wasn't. Thank God I have home warranty because that mistake would have cost us $2,300-$3,000 dollars! Finally we get the pump fixed and everything gets put back to order, the following cleaning schedule, we walk outside to find a dead bird on our new TURF. We let Danny know about it and said that the technician said it was already there. The bird is still clearly wet in the pictures. All I needed him was to apologize and we could have moved past it, but he doubled down and basically called us liars. Communication: M & M pools never advised us when something was wrong, it was always us reaching out to them. Although they were always professional they never owned up to the issues addressed. I would NEVER recommend this provider to anyone.

We had great conversations and built a good rapport, especially during the pandemic when I was working remotely and would often see him while he was servicing the pool. Unfortunately, over the last year or so, I began noticing a decline in the quality of service. Once I returned to the office and was no longer regularly observing the pool maintenance, several issues started to become apparent. I believe Gil may have hired additional help as his business grew, and the level of attention to my pool seemed to suffer as a result. Over the last several months, I noticed my pool's condition gradually deteriorating. My spa stopped working, the electrical panel door was frequently left open, the filter pump lid was occasionally loose and leaking water, and my pool cleaner sat in the same location for weeks without moving. I eventually discovered a broken Jandy valve that appeared to have been damaged for quite some time. What concerned me most was that I was never informed about any of these issues. I also found several bottles of algae-treatment chemicals discarded in a bucket in my yard. While this alone doesn't prove anything improper, it did raise concerns about whether chemical treatments were being used to mask underlying maintenance issues rather than addressing them (maybe another leading indicator to the increased annual service due to rising chemical costs). To be fair, I provided a full month's notice before ending service as a courtesy after nearly seven years as a customer. However, during that final month I began noticing algae spores developing in the pool, which further raised concerns about whether the pool was still being serviced consistently during the last couple of weeks. While the occasional price increases were noticeable, in all honesty, that wasn't my primary concern. My expectation is that routine maintenance includes identifying and communicating equipment problems before they become larger issues. In the final months, it felt more like a quick stop to remove a few leaves, throw in some chemicals, and move on, rather than the comprehensive pool service I had received for many years. I appreciate the good years of service and the personal relationship we developed, which is why this review is mixed rather than entirely negative. However, the decline in maintenance quality, lack of communication regarding equipment issues, and concerns about the consistency of service over the last few months ultimately led me to cancel after nearly seven years.

The whole team is knowledgeable, hard working and the best part on time to take care of your pool. I went from one pool service to Blue Pacific, and I can honestly say that the pool has never looked better. He took the time to explain what the possibilities of the pool we could do, offered several options and knew the local codes to ensure the pool was done properly. He started the project within a week so we were happy to get the project going. The one characteristic that made him stand out was when he said he was going to be there on Monday, he was there. Anyone who's done a home project knows that this is the most frustrating part of the process. His guys actually showed up each day and the project took just a few weeks. It appeared that they worked on one project until it was completed instead of being spread too thin. We added a baja shelf, some stairs that are pretty stylish, the pebbletech material and replaced the pool pump. For the pebbletech we threw in some abalone shell too and that really gives it a sparkle. Walter went way above and beyond by also fixing our pool light rather than replacing it. Overall, I could not be more happy with the project and the work that Walter did. I would recommend him to anyone looking to get their pool redone from a small project to a large. He really knows what he is doing and will do it right. Also, his price was really good, but once you meet him you'll realize the quality over many of the other companies.
