The Southlake office is the closet one to me, so I gave them a call. They got me in MUCH sooner than I thought they would, and also had their forms online so I could fill them out beforehand to streamline everything. When I got there, it was a very welcoming, comfortable feeling office, and the staff was very nice. The practitioner listened to all my concerns, and even asked a couple questions that I hadn't thought of myself. She even answered my questions without talking down to me (as had happened before at other medical visits). Bug bonus, when I told her I am a bodybuilder, she told me she was going to run a few extra tests, just as precaution due to our strenuous training. I went back the next week to get the bloodwork results, and was able to start my hormone therapy immediately. I am VERY pleased so far, and am looking forward to working with them.

I called their second location and they stated the office had closed and they were surprised that the phones were still ringing. I ended up driving to the location and found a sign stating they were moving. I am looking for a good, dependable, and intelligent physician and Dr Duser is not the one. The front desk staff was nice and the MAs friendly. They apologized and thanked me when I mentioned that I found a 6 day old urine sample in the restroom. Dr. Glaser was not friendly towards me. My visit was to be a new patient physical. He did not engage or try to get to know me at all. My face to face time with him was less than 10 minutes, and the only thing memorable that he said was that my insurance might not pay for my updated tetanus shot (they did). I went downstairs to do lab work and was there for about 30 minutes when they finally realized that Dr. Glaser did not order lab work because I had done lab work 7 months prior. Fairly certain that lab work is part of a physical...but whatever. I had already made up my mind that this man would not be my new PCP. A PCP should be warm and engaging, and someone who will listen to their patients when they are concerned about something - Dr. Glaser checked none of these boxes. Fast forward a few weeks later to the billing nightmare that followed, my insurance covers an annual physical (including the lab work he wouldn't order) 100%...but the first bill was coded as a new patient appointment, but they left the physical off. So I had to call the office about this...they made my patient responsibility $0 in their system, but then rebilled my insurance company with duplicate charges and overbilled by almost triple. I decided to call BCBS directly since I had yet to find a competent individual to help me at the practice. The insurance rep told me that one of the codes used on the new bill was for a psychiatric evaluation...OMG! I explained the whole situation again, and BCBS filed a grievance and the billing did eventually get situated. I have talked to others who have noticed similar billing issues on their statements from this practice...so definitely watch your EOBs here. Unreported overbilling is sadly something that happens too often in the medical world. I have given up on ever seeing my 7+ years of medical records from my prior PCP. I am fairly certain they went into an abyss of some sort in this Bridlewood office of confusion.

Awful experiences. Each time, I have to follow up myself to…read moreensure I get the care I need. During visits, Dr. Leon seems SO busy or over booked (or just does not care), doesn't know which pt he is seeing, who I am or why I am there. He does not take time to get to know you or educate you at all. For example, during my very first visit with Dr. Leon, he asked if I have "any pertinent family history" - the average person may not know what that means OR what is considered pertinent. My patch test came back posistive for items, including nickel. He asked if I eat a lot of canned food to which I replied "not really, well we have been eating a lot of tuna lately". He did not acknowledge that reply and moved onto his next question. Should I be avoiding tuna or other canned foods??? I guess I will never know. He asked many questions like this to which I replied yes, and he just moved onto the next question with no education or guidance. I asked him the best way to know if I am allergic to a products ingredient if that item was not included in the patch test, to which he replied very odd - giving me a non answer and just telling me to scan my products in the allergy app. Ok, well if we dont test for X, the app will say I am not allergic to X - so that does not help me. I asked him about 3 different, nice ways to which he replied "This is the gold standard and we do patch testing multiple times per week". Again, a non answer and he seemed almost offended that I would ask how I know if I am allergic to something or not that we do not test for. It was super weird so I dropped it. During my follow up with him, he walked into the room and asked ME to remind HIM what my "chief complaint is" bc he didn't take 30 sec to review my chart first. We were in the middle of talking, and after a few min he opens the laptop and says "Anne right?" as though he didn't know WHICH pt I was for sure and had to double check. At my follow up, I had to remind them I was also there for a nasal scope. Dr. Leon was supposed to send a medication to my pharmacy after my appt, that same day and did not. I had to follow up the next day to ask them to send it. Appts are very long, I am often put in a room and wait 45 min or more to be seen. I was also told I needed a sinus CT scan but they could not see me for 5 weeks! Insane. I explained I cannot wait that long and asked to be fit in that week, or send the order to an outside facility, so they did fit me in. I went in this week, Thurs 8/13 for the in office CT scan and waited in the lobby for 30 min. The front desk went to check on my wait time, and when she came back, I heard her tell her coworker that the main guy who does the scan was out that day and the girl covering was not monitoring the CT scan schedule. Great. I was told Dr. Leon would call me with the CT scan results (he reads them in the office), I was given option to wait for him to come talk to me about results in person that day while I was there or a phone call and chose a call because I needed to get back to work. It was implied and understood by me that he would call the same day, this was Thursday. Of course, he did not call me with the results. I sent a msg on the patient portal Thurs 8/13 evening asking them to call me Friday before the weekend as my symptoms were very uncomfortable and I am hoping to know results/treatment plan/meds etc before the weekend. At this point, it's been several weeks since I started coming here and we've tried two diff meds that have not helped. I still did not get a call before they closed Friday 8/14 for the weekend. Do not expect any bedside manner, education, answer to your questions, or prompt care here. I plan to follow up again next week on the scan results and I have already scheduled with a new doctor/office to transfer my care

I came here on a Tuesday morning believing I had strep throat. I made an appointment online before coming, but we were the only ones there upon arrival. The nurse on staff brought me back shortly, tested me for both the flu and strep, and got results back within 10 minutes. She gave me some tea bags to take home with me to soothe my throat, and called in a prescription ASAP. The process here was incredible simple and quick, much faster than any doctor's office or Care Now I have been to. I highly recommend this location; the service was wonderful and the staff was very kind!

I'm an old ER RN so I knew the ER would be crazy, but I know a puncture can get really bad quickly, I received excellent care from an extremely experienced Doctor and great staff without the craziness and all day wait time of the ER at the hospital, I even received follow up care! 1 Star -- Completely Failed by the Level of Care…read more I genuinely do not understand where the numerous five-star reviews for this facility are coming from, because my experience was nowhere close to five-star care. I specifically chose this facility in part because their website advertises ultrasound availability. After arriving, however, I learned that an ultrasound technician was not actually there and had to be called in. When someone is choosing where to seek urgent medical care, advertised diagnostic capabilities matter. I came in with significant left-sided pelvic/ovarian pain and a complicated medical history. I was completely honest with the physician about the pain medications I am already prescribed and why I take them. Instead of feeling like that honesty helped my care, I immediately felt judged. His demeanor and facial expression noticeably changed, the examination felt rushed, and he seemed eager to leave the room. The nursing care was equally concerning. They attempted to establish an IV seven times without success. I was stuck seven separate times, and I did not receive so much as an apology. Based on my experience, I had serious concerns about the level of competency and training demonstrated during my care. I was eventually given one Toradol injection. The physician had told me he would address my pain, yet I still had to specifically ask for pain relief. The transvaginal ultrasound was excruciatingly painful. Ironically, the ultrasound technician who had to be called in was one of the only people who actually advocated for me. She could clearly see the amount of pain I was experiencing and advocated for something stronger to help control it. More than 30 minutes later, I still had not heard a word from anyone regarding that request. I wasn't given a call light. I wasn't connected to continuous vital-sign monitoring. I was left alone in a room in significant pain without meaningful communication about what was happening or what the plan for my care was. I was also extremely disturbed by what I witnessed regarding patient privacy. Nursing staff discussed another patient's medical information inside my room and used that patient's first and last name. Regardless of the technical circumstances, patients should not have to hear identifiable information about another patient's care, and it made me seriously question how my own private medical information was being handled. Most frustrating of all, the ultrasound confirmed multiple cysts on my left ovary, exactly where I was experiencing significant pain. I did not come here without a legitimate medical concern. The only two employees I can genuinely compliment are the receptionist and the ultrasound technician. Both were compassionate and professional. The ultrasound technician, in particular, recognized that I was hurting and actually advocated for me. I chose this facility because of its extremely high reviews and because it appeared to offer the diagnostic services I needed. I expected compassionate, competent urgent medical care. Instead, I experienced seven unsuccessful IV attempts, inadequate communication, serious concerns about patient privacy, inadequate pain management, and a diagnostic service advertised as available that required someone to be called in. I came here looking for help. Instead, I am leaving feeling judged, ignored, and defeated. I have absolutely no idea where all of these five-star reviews are coming from, but mine certainly will not be one of them.
