Efficient, thorough and honest. I appreciated that they didn't run unnecessary tests and I was not prescribed drugs when I didn't them.

I am immunocompromised and have lupus, asthma, heart issues, so respiratory illnesses are especially serious for me. I did receive some prescriptions, and I clearly told the nurse assistant to send them to CVS. However, they were sent to my local pharmacy instead. I had to call back multiple times to get this corrected. When I arrived at CVS, there were only two prescriptions available. I had to call back again to find out what happened to the cough syrup, and was told it had been sent at the same time. Ultimately, I was told to use over-the-counter cough syrup instead. I'm not a doctor, but I've been dealing with serious health problems since I was 23, and I know what has worked for me in the past. 875 mg Augmentin has consistently treated my sinus infections, and I usually receive cough syrup with codeine. During this visit, my biggest issue was severe rib pain from constant coughing, and I felt that concern was not taken seriously. Overall, I was not pleased with the care I received. Please listen more carefully to your patients, especially those with chronic and complex medical conditions.

The male nurse at the check-in desk made him feel as if he didn't belong there because he didn't "look sick." When my family member got to the back, he was given a breathing treatment and was left in the room over 20 minutes after it completed. He also told the healthcare provider that he hadn't eating in over 10 hours and they still proceeded to give him medication that needed to be taken with food. When he got back home, he was vomiting all over the place. When he got his diagnosis, the male nurse (same person who checked him in) was surprised! He shouldn't have judged a book by it's cover. Just because a person doesn't look well does not mean they don't feel well in their body! Again, he was made to feel as if he just wandered in there off the street. We have wonderful insurance (even if we did not, it shouldn't make a difference b/c healthcare providers should treat each person the same). This family member is a college student in his senior year and needed the help and what does he get? Mistreatment and prejudice! I told him to not visit this place again; at least not on the 3rd shift. The people there obviously didn't want to do their jobs! High reviews? How? I'm very concerned for my family member to get care being so far from home while in college. THIS is why I worry because of people like this! Shame on you, "Total" Care.

Michelle gives shots and IVs so painlessly and quickly I wouldn't have known I got them if she hadn't insured I knew all about my care. The doc is also awesome. I had numerous symptoms (high fever, enflamed lymph nodes, sore muscles, slight ear muffling, dehydration, etc) and Ryan the PA who saw me did not run any tests, but just looked in my ear, said I had an ear infection, and prescribed me amoxicillin. I didn't have any ear pain and it didn't explain my other symptoms, but I'm not a doctor so I trusted his expert opinion. I began taking my antibiotic same day, but two days passed and I saw zero improvement and my symptoms actually got worse. I decided I needed to return to urgent care since I was clearly misdiagnosed at my first visit. At the second visit, I told Megan the NP (she's great) my symptoms and she looked in my throat and immediately knew it was mono. She ran tests to confirm and I did indeed have mono. She switched my antibiotic -- which turns out I didn't need, but she did not want to stop mid-antibiotic treatment so I wouldn't build resistance -- because she said taking amoxicillin when I have mono could cause a rash. I had already taken amoxicillin for those two days between my two visits, and switched to the new antibiotic. A week later, I developed a full body rash that lasted for 14 days, all due to an antibiotic that I did not need because of a MISDIAGNOSIS at my first visit. I never had an ear infection, did not need amoxicillin, but because of a careless PA and a misdiagnosis, I took the antibiotic i didn't need and had to pay for a useless visit and physically suffer through a full body rash caused by the amoxicillin taken while infected with mono. Now rapid med is taking ZERO accountability, and will not refund me for my first visit because they said the care I received at my first visit was "appropriate". I didn't realize they consider misdiagnoses and prescribing medicine that then causes unnecessary suffering appropriate care, or else I never would have gone here in the first place. They are careless and lack accountability, and just want to get you in and out of the door, regardless of whether they actually treat your illness or not. $450 later after two visits wasted due to a misdiagnosis the first time around.

A couple of weeks ago, I woke up with a terrible sore throat. I tried Cepacol lozenges without any relief. Eventually, I began searching for urgent care medical facilities that were open in the middle of the night. After reviewing several options and reading through patient reviews, I decided to call Complete Care in Southlake. Initially, seeing that it was a 24/7 ER gave me pause, as those 24/7 ER facilities can be very expensive, and I even debated whether I should simply endure the pain for another five hours until a traditional urgent care clinic opened...I'm so glad I made the call. From the moment I spoke with the receptionist to my interactions with the nurse and Dr. Peebles, the experience was exceptional. Everyone took their time, answered my questions thoroughly, offered thoughtful suggestions, promptly sent over prescriptions, and Debbie expertly administered the two injections I needed. Even more surprising, the cost was literally on par with many local urgent care facilities for cash pay. A sincere thank you to Debbie, Amanda, Dr. Peebles, and the entire Southlake team for such outstanding care. Warm Regards, Eric

Needless to say I ended up going to a hospital ER later that night and turned out I had an abscess in my stomach - which is why my belly button was reacting the way it was. the hospital doctor was kind of taken back when she asked if they did a cat scan on me - because she knows they have the equipment there - and I told her no. In all I would not go back here - bedside manner of the doctor and nurses was not great and overall knowledge of what could be wrong, obviously wasn't there.
