I'll start by saying we've moved quite a few times in the past few years. We've seen many different…read morepediatricians in many different places at this point, and Cook Children's Denton South is TOP NOTCH! Dr. Williams is primary for both my children and he is excellent! Very friendly and puts my kiddos right at ease. Not only is he patient with all of my stupid questions, but he also explains things in a way that makes sense without making me feel like an idiot. The biggest positive is that he seems to truly care about his patients' well being. At our first visit with Dr. Williams, my husband and I explained our concerns about a long term issue our daughter has had. Other pediatricians have brushed it off, giving inadequate advice and not really addressing the issue. Dr. Williams took our concerns seriously and thoroughly explored possible causes, which we really appreciate! We've also seen Dr. Goff and Dr. Day when my daughter was sick and Dr. Williams was unavailable, and they were both fantastic as well! Each time she went in timid and upset that she had to see a doctor she'd never met, and each time left with a smile on her face asking if she could see that doctor again. They both listened to my concerns as well and got us in and out quickly, but not in a way that it felt like we were being rushed. Would highly recommend this clinic and any of these Physicians!

I'm not even sure where to begin with this review! As a teenager I was a patient of Debra Naylor…read moreand eventually when I had children they became patients of hers as well. Throughout the years we have always had a terrific experience with her and the office! - They're usually right on time, I've never had to wait in the waiting room very long. There's also plenty of toys and fish tanks to keep the kiddos entertained. I also love that they have a sick room and a well room! - The front desk staff are very friendly and helpful. They always remember my children and go above and beyond to assist me with whatever I need. - The nurses are amazing! They're great with children and they're always fast and speedy with unpleasant procedures. Anytime my children have had to get blood drawn, a flu swab, shots or catheters they've always been gentle and speedy, causing minimal pain while getting the job done as quick as possible. They're just absolutely great with children! - Debra Naylor is the primary physician for my children and they love her! She has a way with kids and finds a way to make their check ups fun for them. Throughout the years my children have seen every physician/PA/NP at least once when sick and Dr.Naylor has not been available and it's always been a positive experience. They listen to what I have to say and always take my concerns seriously. They're also incredibly thorough and leave no stone unturned when trying to figure out what's wrong with the kiddos. - Anytime I've called their office to leave a question for a nurse and/or doctor they've always gotten back to me quickly. I can be a bit of helicopter mom and admit that I've called them with some pretty silly questions but they always take me seriously and get back to me as soon as they can. - Anytime one of my kids has fallen ill they always work with me to get them seen immediately even if they close in ten minutes. 18 and Under is just an overall wonderful practice! They've taken care of my babies since they were born and I don't plan on going anywhere anytime soon.

I fell and broke my ankle while walking on my college campus last September 2022 and needed surgery…read moreif I ever wanted to walk again. As soon as I arrived to Medical City's ER in Denton I was immediately met with probably the rudest group of staff members I have ever encountered in my entire life. The front desk receptionist (I'd say in her mid 40's to 50's) was extremely rude to me as soon as I walked in. She had an attitude the entire time and acted as if she was mad or annoyed at me for "bothering" her with my injury. The nurse (mid 20's to early 30's with dirty blonde/brown hair) who checked me in/started triage was EVEN RUDER than the front desk lady, which I honestly didn't think was possible. She also acted as if she was annoyed at me coming in and "bothering" her, as if this isn't her job that she went through years of school for and CHOSE to do. I was in severe pain as I had just suffered a very bad break and obviously wasn't able to walk. Before I left the ER, the nurse gave me crutches to use to get around until the day of my surgery the next week. I have never had to use crutches up until then as this was my first time ever breaking a bone. I immediately had trouble using the crutches and lost my balance while trying to walk. The nurse told me to stand up and try to walk with them and then walked away to do something. As soon as I took my first step I immediately lost my balance and fell. The ONLY reason why I didn't fall all the way to the ground was because my boyfriend was able to catch me at the last minute. When this happened the front desk lady turned around and very angrily SCREAMED "YOU NEED TO GET UP AND BE MORE CAREFUL RIGHT NOW!!!". This was pretty much my breaking point with this ER as I OBVIOUSLY was being careful and would not just choose to fall on purpose. It's absolutely ridiculous and unnecessary to SCREAM at a person for not being able to use crutches after just suffering a severe ankle break. The last thing you want to deal when you are at your worst are rude staff members. These 2 women made my experience so miserable that I now refuse to ever go back to Medical City's ER in Denton when it used to be my go to ER for years. If you need to go to an ER I recommend going to a stand alone ER or just any ER other than Medical City's ER in Denton. I have had great experiences with other stand alone ER's located throughout the Denton/Flower Mound area. Despite this, I do want to mention one of the male staff members in particular. He was the X-ray technician (male, probably in his mid 20's to early 30's) and was the best ever. He was so so kind to me and just absolutely wonderful the entire time. He definitely made my shitty experience with the nurse and receptionist a little bit better and just my injury in general.

The Dr comes in yanks my sock off my foot sending me into a crying fit, they took X-rays looked at me and said " just a bad Sprain here is some crutches, ace wrap and you can go " called my workers comp people and they send me to another Dr and my ankle was broken in 2 places.
